Probably one of most cleanest urgent cares I’ve been in. Very easy to make an appointment, no wait time but expected to wait if I had to. The front office was very friendly and the staff in the back were just as nice. Dr. Patel was very attentive and listened to all my concerns. I highly recommend to go if you need to

I will say, time and time again, this is my go to place for any kind of testing. I never have to wait, I usually schedule a day or two before and am often seen early due to no one being there. Staff and providers are super friendly, helpful, and extremely quick with what they need to do which allows for less time waiting in the exam rooms. Testing is also extremely fast, I have gotten tests before and then have heard back a day later. Will recommend to anyone looking for quick access to medical care.

The check in computer machines were too complicated for Senior Citizens and individuals who are not computer savvy.  We had to use several check in machines to check in. The receptionist had to use two machines before she could check us in. Staff was very nice.

Overview of STD Testing in Elizabeth

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, regardless of their age, gender, or sexual orientation. This is especially important for those who have multiple sexual partners, are not consistently using protection, or are sharing needles for drug use. According to the CDC, some groups are at a higher risk for STDs, including young people aged 15-24 and men who have sex with men. Regular testing is crucial for these individuals to ensure early detection and treatment.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a vital part of maintaining your overall health. Many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they don't show any signs or symptoms, so you could be infected and not know it. Untreated STDs can lead to serious health complications, including infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of these complications. It also helps prevent the spread of these diseases to others.
