I saw my primary on Thursday for the same condition (at a health system considered the premier in the mid-Atlantic region). They did no tests and prescribed no remedy. Today (Saturday) came here. They sorted me out and scheduled future tests. So, they solved my issues.

AFC Urgent Care is easier and quicker than seeing my PCP.  I was early and expected to wait, but they took me right in. The medical assistant took my vitals and the physician came in soon afterwards. She was very friendly and thorough, and answered my questions about possible drug interactions. I was out and in my car about ten minutes after my scheduled  appointment time.

I was visiting my son and his family and became sick after babysitting my sick grandchild. I knew my body was telling me to see a doctor so I visited the American Family Care. The best move I made. Everyone in the office, from the receptionist to the Vanessa, John, and the Dr. Alexa were so warm and caring. I was in and out in half hour, and that was with a short staff I highly recommend this provider.

Front staff was friendly. Office was clean. Wait time was short. Doctor on staff was poor. He kept pushing me to get allergy testing which was unnecessary. Then just prescribed an antibiotic with no test results just stating that I had an allergy that became infected. I don’t have allergies. Made me super uncomfortable.

Called for an appointment & got when I wanted no problem. The staff checking in are very nice , just a shame it’s such a long waiting period !! While I was waiting I saw at least 4 people leave because they were told it would be a 3 hour wait!  The nurse & Dr who saw me were very friendly and professional & I would go back to this site if need be.
