Check in was a bit challenging with poor cell service hindering paperwork and a back up tablet that kicked you off their network. Once checked in, every single employee, front counter, nurse practitioner, and doctor were amazing. I was in great hands from start to finish. Highly recommend.

My first time visiting Atlanta Plus Urgent Care! My Mom, my husband and I all needed Covid testing. Being concern of not wanting to expose my Mom to any additional germs Cierra was very polite and professional about giving us the option to sit in the car until it was our time. She was also very thorough with the intake process. Once we were called in Janel continued the exceptional professionalism your business offers. Janel proceeded to process of 3 of us without missing a step. I will wholeheartedly recommend APUC and will definitely be back when services are needed.

The doctor who provided car during the virtual visit was amazing, as was the care provider who actually conducted the Covid swab for the testing. However, the in person check in procedure at the urgent care center could definitely be streamlined to limit exposure and wait times. Even though all three of my fault members had already completed paperwork and a virtual visit and just needed to alert staff that we had arrived, we waited in line in the waiting room for 12 minutes behind others who had not done those things and this had more extensive needs from the front desk staff.

First, I couldn't schedule COVID-19 testing near me. It was such a relief to get an appointment. Second, I got there early to make sure I was seen. I heard stories from other places where appointments were canceled frequently. The app showing where I was at in line reassured me that wouldn't be an issue. Third, the clinic was clean and bright and very welcoming. I liked it so much I took down some ideas for my own home decor. Last, but definitely not least, EVERYONE WAS AWESOME!!!! Every person I worked with was friendly, nice, gave clear instructions, and felt like real people. I don't care that Atlanta Plus UC is an hour away, and other clinics are closer. I'll come back here anytime I can.

My experience was lovely, considering I'm after a covid test. the attendant was very pleasant and polite the only issue that I had was when i was sent a link to choose my location for my testing none of them were really that close to me. I'm in Oxford and I only had options to go to Atlanta Marietta McDonough Roswell ...so it's kind of out of the way which is a little bit annoying. However the call and the sound were clear so I would still recommend it. I don't know if there's a reason that those were my only options I did choose the rapid response test so maybe that was why.

With the exception of the initial signing up for a virtual apptmt. everything was tops. Signing up was difficult when it came to putting in the Insurance card and id. There is not enough info and guidance in the process. Charle Camerón was awesome. Easy yo see that she genuinely wanted to hear what I had to say. Listened to concerns. Answered questions and always so pleasant. Got my apptmt for the Covid test. That went smoothly and friendly as well.

Drive thru was great! But some young yt kid with swoosh blonde hair in faded red scrubs was very bossy! Told me I shouldn’t have told them my first and middle name (I was trying to include both bc I didn’t know which they had on file from my previous test..) he was very sassy & smart mouthed! Then, after I got my results (negative), I pulled forward to text family my results *way far away from the drive thru line*** and he come running all the way thru a row of parked cars in the parking lot, taps on my window VIGOROUSLY then I roll it down, looking confused, and he says “um didn’t you get results already?” And I said “oh, yeah? I was just texting, ahaha” and he said “oh ok yeah well we need you to leave.” Like???? I wasn’t in the way at all-no one behind me?! But he wants to run across the parking lot to shoo me out for WHAT? It was funny, he was taking it a lil too serious..like bro don’t you have a test to be running or sum??

The doctor was excellent, but I’m still waiting (2 hours) to get a text so that I may schedule my rapid test. There is no way to contact her to remind her to send it. There is no central number to call so I’ve sent an email asking for assistance. :(

Once through the necessary form filling, the speed and ease of virtual consulting went easily and convenient on-site Covid PCR testing was promptly scheduled. Facilities were great, parking convenient, phone contact when staff ready to receive. Physician's Assistant gave long consult. Also, if test was positive, they were prepared to immediately schedule me for outpatient treatment.

Charles, my virtual contact was very helpful and knowledgeable. I made my appt with Piedmont and 20 mins later they were doing my test from my car. The young lady that gave me the test was also super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. They turned a dreadful experience into a positive thing for me

The provider was super nice and helped me get tested quickly. When I showed up to the urgent care there was an issue with the swab scheduling so she stayed on the line with me while talking to this office and helped me get in to for sure get tested today. Great customer service. Thank you.

My first visit was for a covid test last week and the staff was delightful and the wait time wasn’t long considering I was a walk in. This visit was a virtual visit for upper respiratory infection. Shalonda the PA was so very kind and patient. My appt started right on time. Highly recommend.

Dr. Michael Martin was wonderful. When we couldn't connect by video, he called me and we met by phone. He agreed that I ought to get a covid test. He asked where would be most convenient. He had a closer suggestion than one I knew of. He called the location and got me an appt for the time and day (tomorrow!) that I asked for. I really appreciate him going the extra mile since I couldn't find a test online at any locations near me for day soon. Thank you!

Drive thru is WAY FASTER than waiting inside to get tested, it’s TOO hot and crowded, if you didn’t have the bug you might get it while waiting. I had my appointment at 4:40PM, arrived at 4:25PM, after 30 mins of waiting and seeing the turtle paced rhythm service I decided to walkout and went to the drive thru, it took me about 15 mins and I was done!!! do yourself a favor a use the drive thru service.

I had a wonderful experience shalonda was a great virtual person she answered all my questions and was very friendly this call was difficult for me because my best friend tested positive for covid he was vaccinated. This was my second exposure although my results are pending me and my wife tested positive back in August we both ended up in the ER and I got better my wife ended up in ICU on life support and I lost her September 8 she was truly wonderful the love of my life. But I got through this call with friendly staff like shalonda. Thank you again

I received a negative Covid test and my test came back positive from CVS. I took my son to CVS and it came back Positive as well. I am not sure if your “Rapid” testing is faulty. I just thought I would let you guys know that your “Rapid” testing is inaccurate.

The Staff for the Virtual Appointment was very helpful, in navigating the complicated process. We especially commend Shalanda who even made a follow-up call to see if we got our test. The Staff at the Urgent Care , Hwy 9 Milton was also very helpful on a busy day. Kudos to all.

For my sons COVID test following his virtual appt it was fast and smooth. He is 11 and was nervous, and they were super nice. He was neg but I decided I needed one and did the walk in. Any challenges were really phone ap and the staff is WONDERFUL

I went to Urgent Care for a rapid COVID test. I was able to schedule an appointment online and use the drive thru option which was amazing. I was swabbed within minutes of arriving and had my results in about 15 minutes. Every single staff member I interacted with was kind, informative and efficient. I would definitely recommend this urgent treatment facility.

Only problem I have is I’m in Michigan and my call was routed to Georgia!!!!! I had an amazing PA who was very empathetic but had to end up with a much later time in the day for another virtual which delayed the wait time to confirm the 2nd test I was waiting for.

- Verified patient on 11/21

I truly did not expect such on the ball caring experience in this time of massive Covid testing but I was given good advice based on my own personal health condition as I would get from my own doctor. Vivian, Katie, and Raq’ia were all excellent in their skill sets and the front desk personnel were also friendly and efficient. I felt so much more knowledgeable about What to do to manage my own Covid Prevention and Screenings than expected. I couldn’t have been more impressed by these courageous heroes of our world pandemic. BTW this is coming from somebody who is very very picky about human relations and skilled medical professionals. This group was completely on top of it!

The PA I saw was amazing! He was super patient as I handled a virtual visit in a parking lot with two toddlers and an infant. he was thorough and heard all my concerns and gave me sound advice/next steps for treating my children. I did have to wait 75 minutes for my appt, but I dont think that is the doctor's fault. However, I drove to get a rapid covid test an hour into my "waiting room" call, and the staff took me, no problem because of the long wait on my call.

Atlanta Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
