Nice and capable staff for Covid 19 test. Very busy, so a bit of a wait for callbacks and when at site, and needed to call at site to get staff to come to car. Signed up for antibody test beforehand but not available when I got there. I am glad because the test is up to $200, depending on how much insurance covers. Call insurance first for sure.

Seen for respiratory issue- thorough work up by HE NP. She was very knowledgeable and attentive.  Told me to f/u with my pulmonologist if symptoms worsen and told me how to use the medication she sent to pharmacy.  Worth the 15 min drive and 10/10 care here.  Highly recommended urgent care.

Arrived at 10:40, just before the clinic got very busy. Next time I will begin the paperwork online, in advance, and arrive earlier. I got excellent care for lingering respiratory concerns, after having the flu. Even tho I had got this year's flu vax in September. I wish the people in the waiting area would wear masks. But hey, trumpo said it is all a hoax so here we go again.

What is the point of having an appointment when it doesn’t matter? I was scheduled for 11:50AM, walked in at 1135, just to be seen at 1pm. What is the incentive of making appointments if walk ins are being seen before me?

Amazing Urgent care! I went today after I fell and hurt my shoulder and hand. I was seen right away by Dianne who took my vitals, list of my meds, and listened to what happened. She later did my XRays. She is so kind and competent. I couldn't get my medals off due to shoulder pain, she took care of that all the while being so friendly, funny and down to earth. I saw Dr. Wison before and after my XRay. He is amazing at his job. He examined my shoulder and hand to see what I was capable of doing, wrote up the order for the XRays and then explained everything to me in a clear and patient manner. The man at the front desk (didnt catch his name) was also very efficient and friendly. I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care in Norwood. This is by far the best experience I've had at an urgent care!

Overview of STD Testing in Waltham

Who should get tested for STDs?

According to the CDC, sexually active individuals, particularly those with multiple partners, should get tested for STDs regularly. Testing is also recommended for those who have had unprotected sex, have shared injection drug equipment, or have a partner who has tested positive for an STD.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining good sexual health. Many STDs do not show symptoms immediately, so regular testing is the only way to be sure of your status. Early detection can prevent the spread of the disease to others and allow for timely treatment, reducing the risk of complications. According to the CDC, untreated STDs can lead to serious health problems like infertility, cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV.
