Scheduling was pretty easy however the staff wasn’t welcoming. They talked to you like you were bothering them. So if you’re looking for a that you won’t find it here. Not even a smile in sight. The doctor was short and downplayed things. Wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

Overview of STD Testing in Wayne

Who should get tested for STDs?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, are under the age of 25, are men who have sex with men, or have had unprotected sex. It's also recommended for those who have been forced to have intercourse or engage in sexual activity against their will, as they may be at a higher risk of contracting an STD.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a crucial aspect of maintaining overall health and well-being. Many STDs do not show symptoms immediately, or at all, making regular testing the only sure way to know your status. Early detection through testing can prevent serious health complications, such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV. According to the CDC, getting tested also helps prevent the spread of STDs to others.
