The front desk and the assistant was friendly, kind. Andrea was who saw us. She was fast, we were and out in a timely manner. We did not feel rushed but she made sure even being busy to see us and assist us with our medical concern. I will continue to return in the future and recommend to family and friends.

Overview of STD Testing in Coshocton

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, particularly those with multiple sexual partners or those who do not regularly use protection during sexual activity. It's important to note that many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they do not show any signs or symptoms. Therefore, regular testing is recommended even if you feel healthy. According to the CDC, certain groups such as young adults and men who have sex with men are at a higher risk and should get tested more frequently.

Firstly, many STDs can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Secondly, knowing your STD status can help protect your sexual partners from contracting the disease. Lastly, early detection often leads to more effective treatment.
