Easy in and easy out. I just wish there was more seats to sit on. People tend to bring a plus one and I wasn’t able to sit so I stood outside in the rain until I saw a seat open.

Overview of STD Testing in Bryn Mawr-Skyway

Who should get tested for STDs?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), anyone who is sexually active should consider regular STD testing. This includes individuals who are in monogamous relationships, as STDs can remain dormant for years before showing symptoms. Particularly, those who have multiple sexual partners, men who have sex with men, and individuals who engage in unprotected sex are at a higher risk. Pregnant women should also get tested to prevent potential transmission to their babies.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, many STDs do not exhibit symptoms, making it possible to unknowingly spread the infection to others. Secondly, untreated STDs can lead to severe health complications, such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV. Lastly, knowing your STD status can help protect your sexual partners and prevent the spread of these diseases.
