The check in computer machines were too complicated for Senior Citizens and individuals who are not computer savvy.  We had to use several check in machines to check in. The receptionist had to use two machines before she could check us in. Staff was very nice.

Had been experiencing jaw pain for a few days and I knew I wouldn’t be able to see my dentist until at least Monday. I was hesitant to go urgent care on a Saturday, I assumed I’d be waiting forever and for jaw pain, they wouldn’t be able to do much. But actually, I reserved a spot online and they took me right away. The medical assistant and doctor were so nice, helped me as best as they could, and sent me home with a prescription that eased the pain tremendously the next day. I’d never been to this location before but I’m glad I made the trip and the next time I need to go to urgent care, I’ll be going here. Thank you everyone at AFC Piscataway !

Half way through my appointment, the fire alarm went off. We all had to be evacuated. I had been putting my appointment off for the issue for a year. I finally scheduled it, and boom... you gotta go (lol). It wasn't their fault though. Other than that, I was very pleased with everything.

Overview of STD Testing in Clark

STD testing is an important part of maintaining sexual health, especially for sexually active individuals in Clark. Many sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are asymptomatic, meaning they do not show noticeable symptoms, making regular testing essential. People with multiple sexual partners or those who engage in unprotected sex are particularly at risk, but testing is recommended for anyone who is sexually active. STD testing in Clark can detect a range of infections early, allowing for timely treatment and reducing the risk of serious health complications such as infertility, cancer, and the spread of infections to others. Local testing options in Clark often include urgent care centers, primary care providers, community health centers, and at-home test kits.

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active, especially those with multiple partners, should consider regular STD testing. Testing is also recommended for individuals who engage in unprotected sex or have symptoms of an STD.

The CDC recommends annual testing for sexually active individuals, particularly for those under 25, men who have sex with men, and anyone with multiple partners. Frequency may vary based on risk factors.

What should I expect during an STD test?

STD testing usually involves providing a urine sample, blood sample, or swab from the genital area, depending on the type of test. Most tests are quick and painless.
