I was visiting with family from another state , woke up not feeling well with a new baby coming home from the hospital. Definitely needed to be seen to make sure I wasn’t contagious.  Googled urgent care facilities near me, walked in , filled out paperwork and was taken back immediately.  Staff weee extremely courteous and professional.  I was in and out before I knew it. The longest part was filling out the paperwork .  I would definitely recommend this provider!

Overview of STD Testing in Fair Lawn

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially those with multiple sexual partners or those who do not consistently use protection during sexual activity. According to the CDC, certain groups are at higher risk and should be tested regularly, including sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and anyone who has a partner who has tested positive for an STD.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining both your own health and the health of your sexual partners. Many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they don't show symptoms, but they can still be transmitted to others and can lead to serious health complications if left untreated. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of complications and further spread of the disease.
