This is is quick and decent place to get urgent care as opposed to the wait at the health center on broad st..I was thrilled when I found this place!!I didn't know it existed for so long. My wait time was next to nothing on all of my trips here (and my daughter's). The front desk, the nurses and the doctors and pa's we're all friendly, professional, prompt , kind, and compassionate especially when it came to having to deal with my daughter. I've been back several times due to the ease of use of the facility and the welcoming vibe. I hope others that have had good experiences at this office post a rating and share their experience here.

I have been going to Malta Medical for over 10 years. The quality of their care medically, and also their level of concern for myself as a patient and for me as a person goes above and beyond anyting that I could ask for in the doctor's office. They treat me more like family . I think the practice is run professionally and the staff that is there is highly trained and qualified. I would not go anywhere else for my health issues, or to feel more comfortable discussing anything else related to my personal well-being. I thank them all each and every one of them for making me comfortable every time I walk through the door.

Overview of STD Testing in Glens Falls

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider regular STD testing as part of their healthcare routine. This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, engage in unprotected sex, or use intravenous drugs. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk for STDs and should get tested more frequently. These include sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining both your own health and the health of your sexual partners. Many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they show no symptoms, but can still be transmitted to others and cause long-term health problems if left untreated. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of complications and preventing the spread of these diseases.
