I woke up this morning with chills and body aches and throat sore nose respiratory issues I was able to schedule I came in earlier than my appointment the girls were so friendly behind the desk they all were very compassionate they took me back right away the doctor didn't see me was very very thorough I couldn't ask for better I always would recommend AFC on ulmerton urgent care for everyone's needs

I scheduled an appointment and got put in the walk in check-in list not the booked, I spent 30-45 mins in the waiting room, spent an hour in a room listening to the employees talk crap about other employees, when I finally got seen all the doctor did was shine a light on my mouth tell me I have an infection (which I knew that but didn’t know what kind and she didn’t care to look more into it), she prescribed me antibiotics and when I explained to her how swollen and in pain my mouth was (I couldn’t even close my mouth because how swollen the bottom of my mouth was and my tongue), she told me all she could give me was Ibuprofen because I’m assuming me crying in pain wasn’t enough for her to give me something stronger. All together I spent 3 hours there for nothing at all.

My first time at Guidewell today made a lasting impression on me. From my phone conversation with receptionist, the ease at scheduling appt, the quick response time for that appt, I was already impressed. Wait time at the office was minimal; Katherine (ARNP) was so caring, gentle and kind. She listened to everything I told her, and made the decision for me to have X-RAYS taken. After having this procedure done, Katherine came back into the room and made some great recommendations for me to follow through with. I went in due knee injury from a bike wreck. Easy making an appointment and got right in and was only to here little over an hour and that included X-ray..the Dr give me a slip for work. But work said no due to 90% of day was to be sitting and all I needed was sit as needed...so waiting on Dr to rewrite the paper so I can go back to work as I can't afford to miss any work I will return here for any other issue

The medical professional I saw Julia Ferrara PA was great. The front desk receptionist was nice but not very professional talked about morning gossip. I heard someone (staff) I was first patient and was told no one was here yet and had to wait ( I was early so that was fine) coughing terribly in the back of the office - he or she sounded awful and for an urgent care didn’t like hearing that. Maybe should have stayed at home like I did.
