I had to pay a visit the day after Thanksgiving. They were busy, but they were very open and up front about wait times. You could tell they were getting through the wait efficiently. The girl at the front desk was very friendly, nice and again, up front and honest. Once I was back to see the doctor they had me checked and out the building super fast. Recommending to call ahead.

Thank you to the wonderful staff that took care of me, Javier and Mercedes. I had a horrible experience at this urgent care last year and said I would never go back but I had to do a drug test for a new employer when I went in the front desk attendant was so kind ( unlike the past) she scheduled me for another appointment right away due to being ill. Everyone was kind and respectful and willing to help me, they showed outstanding compassion and willingness to help me resolve being ill instead of sending me away. I had heard many complaints about this urgent care so my goal is to tell people how wonderful they all had been

I came in with a lumbar and right leg pain. My only issue was checking in.  That fact that my information your system requires every Urgent care visit was not stored.  Like insurance information, drivers license from my visit last month.  Because I was in so much pain and barely able to walk I did not grab my wallet or phone.  So my spouse had to go back home and get them.  The back staff I saw was amazing, caring and very professional.  I have been a regular patient at that office before you bought Dr Wilner out.  You website also says that some of your staff is mot covered by UHC but the practice is listed on my UHC website as being in network.  You should also correct that.

Doctor was gentle & thorough in exam and in questioning about mysterious eye pain that struck me immediately after rising in morning. He ruled out all the obvious scary possibilities, made suggestions for coping, and offered a prescription for alleviating discomfort; also urged me to call for a specialist referral if the pain continued. In several hours the pain subsided, so does remain a mystery. I recommend this provider.

Exceptional Medical Care by Armando and the American Family Care Urgent Care Team I am writing this review with great pleasure to express my heartfelt appreciation to the team at American Family Care Urgent Care, and especially to Armando, for the outstanding medical care they provided to my mother during her visit to the urgent care unit. Armando demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism and empathy throughout the process. His skill in using the EKG machine and drawing blood was notable, performing both procedures with such precision and care that my mother felt entirely at ease and secure throughout the process. His ability to communicate clearly and explain each step of the procedure, his patience, and his dedication to my mother's comfort were truly impressive. In addition, I'd like to highlight the overall care we received at the urgent care unit. The team was efficient, compassionate, and highly professional. We felt supported and cared for throughout our stay, which is testament to the culture of excellence they have cultivated at the clinic. I wish to thank Armando and the entire team at American Family Care Urgent Care for their commitment to high-quality healthcare and for their dedication to patients' comfort and wellbeing. It's rare to find a team so dedicated and passionate about their work. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking quality urgent care. Colorado Urinalysis Tests

A urinalysis is a test that looks for chemicals in the urine that could suggest an ailment, disease, or infection. The majority of urine tests necessitate urinating into a sterile cup, which is subsequently sent to a lab for additional investigation. Depending on the ailment for which you are being tested, at-home urine tests may be offered.

A urine test may be used as part of a standard medical examination to detect or rule out disorders like diabetes, kidney disease, and urinary tract infections. It can also be used to confirm pregnancy or detect blood or kidney stones.

A urinalysis evaluates the color, odor, appearance, and acidity level of your urine, among other things. Your urine may also be tested for the presence of germs and bacteria, cells and crystals, and chemicals such as protein, glucose, and ketones that aren't normally found in urine but could signal a problem.

Urine tests normally don't require any preparation, although the urinalysis testing provider may inquire about any prescription or over-the-counter medications you're taking, as some of them may influence the color of your urine. The testing provider may also advise that you go to the lab or clinic early in the morning to do the test, which is what you should do.

You will be asked to deliver a tiny urine sample into a sterile cup for a urine test performed at a lab or clinic. To prevent microorganisms from contaminating the sample, your doctor or urinalysis testing provider may advise you to wash your vaginal area with mild soap and water before the test. Your urine sample will then be analyzed in a lab to see if there are any abnormalities that could suggest illness or disease.

Depending on the type of urine test taken, results can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days to arrive. If required, your doctor or the urinalysis testing provider may contact you directly to discuss your results and treatment options.

Urinalysis FAQs

  • How much does a urine test cost in Colorado?

The cost of urine tests varies depending on a number of criteria, including the type of test, test provider rates, and your geographic region. Prior to your consultation, some urinalysis providers may be able to check your insurance benefits.

  • What types of tests are done through urinalysis?

There are various sorts of urine tests that can be used to screen for certain health issues and medical disorders. • What can be detected through a urinalysis?

A urinalysis is a test that looks for chemicals in the urine that could suggest the presence of a sickness, disease, or infection. Bacteria, blood, creatinine, nitrite, and white blood cells are just a few of the many things that urinalysis can identify. A urinalysis can also be used to confirm pregnancy by detecting elevated cholesterol levels, high crystal concentrations, urine acidity level (pH value), and urine acidity level (pH value).

  • How do I read urine test results?

A visual examination, a microscope, or a dipstick—a thin, plastic strip that changes color when abnormalities are detected—can all be used to assess and interpret urine test findings. Urine test results are normally interpreted by a doctor or a lab technician in hospitals, clinics, and labs. The majority of at-home urine test kits sold by pharmacies and other providers come with thorough instructions on how to read and interpret the findings of your urine test.

  • How long does it take to get urine test results in Colorado?

Based on criteria such as the type of test, lab wait times, and the method used to interpret data, urine test results could be available in minutes or several days. The urinalysis testing company can provide you a more precise estimate of when you should expect your findings.
