Short wait time. Quick processing. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Far, far better than going to ER.

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Labcorp for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Best emergency care experience of my life. Maggie, Jamie, Dan, and Mark treated me like a queen: couldn't have been kinder, friendlier, or more competent. I was seen immediately, and my injury was treated with care and professionalism. Fearing a long wait, insurance issues, or grouchy staff personalities so often experienced when seeking emergency care, I hesitated to even go for treatment of my injury but ultimately recognized it was unavoidable. Thank goodness I went, and thank goodness I chose AFC Urgent Care. I not only received amazing health care but also left with warm fuzzies to carry with me all week.

I cannot say enough about my incredibly positive experience at Med Express on 202 yesterday! I have received care here on 3 or 4 other occasions and have been pleased, but yesterday's visit topped the charts! I originally stopped in at around 4:00 and there was an hour wait, so I drove to another facility where my experience was so bad, I walked out prior to being seen by a provider. Back to Med Express at about 6:00pm with bad back pain and was seen within 10 minutes of arriving. The nurse checking me in,Jen, was familiar, and as kind and friendly as I had remembered!T he PA ,Lauren, was extremely friendly, confident, efficient, and caring. I was able to get x-rays of my back on site and Lauren came back to let me know that my back looked pretty good, but that there was another issue they saw that I would have never known about had she not shared this with me. The x-ray technician, Urfan?, was so lovely and patient, consistently asking me if I was doing okay. I received treatment and was given my x-rays on disc to take with me. Only 30 minutes after I left, I received a follow-up call from Lauren to share the radiologist's findings. I missed her call, but as soon as the facility opened the next morning, I got another call to follow-up. Wow!! Unheard of! Just 30 minutes later, the attending physician, who was signing off on my chart, called me personally to discuss a possible medication interaction he felt should be brought to my attention. I almost couldn't believe this close attention to my care. I had a wonderful PCP before she retired, and I didn't even get this from her office. I am so grateful to these individuals who went above and beyond. Outstanding work, Med Express 202!!

As a senior with serious underlying health conditions, I was very fearful to have a needed CT scan during this pandemic. After making appt. I called the Exton facility directly about my condition & risk about coming in. Shannon listened & discussed my concern with Neelam in registration & CT technician Kelly about how to accommodate my visit. All personnel went out of their way to minimize my time there, protect me & make me safe. Models of health care who went above & beyond! My thanks & gratitude to our caring health care workers who put themselves at risk for us. Chris

  • Who should get a typhoid vaccine?

Anyone two weeks and older with plans to travel to or live in an area that's at high risk for typhoid, such as South Asia, Latin America and Africa, should receive a typhoid vaccine. If you are planning on traveling from Lincoln out-of-country, a typhoid vaccine will be required for entry. You must be vaccinated by injection at least fourteen days before your departure date, or finish your oral vaccination regimen at least a week before your trip.

  • Are video visits available with travel vaccination specialists in Lincoln?

While a typhoid vaccine cannot be administered over video, your doctor can evaluate and advise you or your child from your home in Lincoln. They can discuss your travel plans, recommend and order necessary vaccinations, and book immunization appointments via telemedicine.

  • How much does a typhoid vaccine cost in Lincoln?

Without insurance, a consultation, service fee and the typhoid vaccine doses will typically range from $85 to $300. With preventative insurance, you will end up paying the copay for a consultation and vaccine administration, ranging from $10 to $40. Costs will vary by clinic - book a consultation at a Lincoln-area clinic to see how much a typhoid vaccine would cost for you.

  • Is a typhoid vaccine covered by my insurance?

As typhoid vaccines are considered elective, it’s not uncommon that insurance will not cover the cost of the vaccine. However, if your plan includes preventative benefits, the vaccine will usually be covered and you may only need to cover the co-pay out-of-pocket.

  • Are video visits with travel vaccination specialists covered by my insurance?

Telemedicine vaccine consultation coverage will vary depending on your circumstances. Typically, if your insurance will not cover an in-person visit, it won’t cover similar appointments via telehealth. Since the typhoid vaccine is considered elective and in-person visits are not usually covered by medical insurance, it is unlikely video visits with travel vaccination specialists will be covered.
