The staff and Dr. Phillips were fast and efficient. I had a 9am appointment and made my 10am bowling league. I would recommend this organization to anyone.

Scheduling was easy via Solv, but no coordination between Solv and the office resulted in multiple duplicate bookings and unacceptable wait time.  2:30 appointment confirmed by Solv, actual check-in 4:55.  Staff was friendly and courteous, but front desk staff was overwhelmed.  Provider and staff were prompt once I was checked in and appointment was quick and efficient.  Care and bedside manner were top notch.

Feeling like I have strep throat. I was able to schedule quickly and when I arrived I was tended to immediately. Very friendly staff and Dr was great! If you live in the area and need fast effective care I would definitely recommend Carbon Health.

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Labcorp for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I was told on Tuesday to come back today for wound care and this time I saw Dr. Sharma. He was wonderful. Very kind and gentle and shared lots of information about my problem. I can't say enough for the Kenmore Urgent Care department and the people that work there. If you can't get it to see your regular doctor when you need to, don't hesitate to us this option.

I would 100% recommend this company to anyone wanting to check their health status. The process was incredibly easy and done through certified labs. The results are frequently back by the next day.

I brought my Mom in at 6 PM on a Sunday as she had a cold and had experienced total hearing loss in her right ear and was supposed to fly home the next day. Dr. Crawford diagnosed her w a collapsed eustachian tube and prescribed steroids. She advised her not to fly home until it felt better and hearing returned. Upon arriving back in MI, my Mom visited her ENT and he praised the urgent care doc for correctly diagnosing and properly prescribing meds. He said most docs misdiagnose or get amounts of steroids incorrect. So, not only was Dr. Crawford knowledgeable, she was very nice and answered all of our questions.

Recent Physical Exam Reviews (20)

Had to come here for a last-minute physical for my son. Was able to make an appt online very easily. Leanne happily assisted me with parking validation and printing out the physical forms I neglected to do on my own. The ARNP John Ward is friendly, pleasant and efficient. The wait time was a bit long, but they let us know and we were only there for a hour total so not that bad really. The complimentary drinks are a thoughtful touch. My son especially loved that, having helped himself to two. Will definitely come back for urgent care needs and when the pediatrician can’t see us quickly.

After searching for a place to take my girls in for sports physical exams, this place came through. Walked in and was immediately put on the walk in list. Came back at the time given. The gentleman at the front desk really knows how to interact with patients. Very nice guy. Then the doctor came in and she was down to earth cool. We had a really good laugh and my girls got their physical exams and went home happy. I recommend this site than the other sites.

(1) Finding the right way to schedule was a little difficult. It could be made clearer how to register if you have symptoms. (2) Staff took excellent cleanliness precautions, but the Aurora drive-up facility needs work. Staff at the windows wore covering, which were black at the sleeves from touching the opening. Staff made sure they were interacting with public in a very clean way, but the physical facility should be made more clinically-clean. (3) APPLAUSE for the staff. They are reassuring, efficient experts at the process. (4) APPLAUSE for the lab - they returned results in 17 hours! (5) EXCELLENT that I could make an appointment for testing on the same day I was experiencing symptoms!

I had a great experience! Everyone from check in to finishing my appointment was great. Kudos to Kealy for her Friendliness and efficiency in checking me in, Megan, the LPN who did my vitals and intake was also friendly and very professional. Brandi and Leesa were the two X-ray techs who shot my films. Both were great. Brandi was very careful in helping me to place my hand in the right position which made the experience almost pain free. Lastly K. Pearso, ARNP was awesome. She completed a very thorough history and physical, listened to all my concerns, and answered all my questions. She went out of her way to make me comfortable offering me water and providing me with an ice pack to help with my pain. Lastly she made sure I was correctly fitted with the appropriate hand brace. (I was evaluated for a possible left wrist fracture vs a sprain, luckily it was just a bad sprain. You have a wonderful, friendly, caring staff, keep up the good work!

Incredibly safe, efficient, and friendly experience. I was absolutely blown away by how Fred Hutch/SCCA handled the logistics of vaccinating as many people as possible while keeping them physically distant. The long hallways, curtain separated vaccination rooms, personal timers/cubicles were genius. Every staff member I spoke with was kind and friendly. I cannot say how lucky I feel to have both been vaccinated and to have done it here. I will recommend Fred Hutch/SCCA to anyone eligible for a vaccine.

I just want to say that I’m worried about the safety of the staff. Today a man exited his car to confront staff. He was visibly angry about what line he was placed in and was yelling at the staff. He parked his car and physically approached people navigating traffic. I was afraid he might strike one of the staff. The employees did a great job attempting to deescalate. I just wish security had been present to escort the man away. Please bring on security for the staff.

Very easy and efficient. They text message you the links to all the information you need to provide in advance. Once you get there, you're directed to a lane, are greeted by an attendant who confirms your information, then are provided with the test materials to bring to the administrator all while in your car. The administrators are free the fire department and EMTs and do a great job explaining what will happen, how it feels and put you at ease. After the 20-30 second test, you're on your way with a tissue to help with the inevitable tearing (physical reaction) from the test.

I’ve been tested once before (SODO) shortly after the pandemic hit, and staff at that testing site also were excellent, but my experience today was exceptional; the woman who initially greeted me/took my information was kind and friendly, the woman who verified my information and gave me my vial was also kind and friendly, and the individual who physically tested me - his name is Michael - not only greeted me with kindness and consideration for the anxiety of being tested, he also thoroughly explained how my brain would react to the swab and gave me detailed instructions on how to remain calm so the fight or flight instinct wouldn’t be triggered. I followed his instructions and the swabbing was significantly less painful than my first experience. I actually left smiling! I have nothing but the deepest respect and gratitude for everyone working at both testing sites.

I didn't think I was ever going to get the covid shot, because it was very difficult to figure out where to get the vaccine and when I did find a location there were never any appointments available. I finally found the King County website, which is easy to navigate and I was shocked to find that not only were appointments available but I could get an appointment in two days. I was very nervous about going to the Showare Center because I have physical limitations that make walking and standing difficult and I imagined this was going to be a very painful and miserable experience. Boy was I wrong. This program was extremely well thought out and very organized. There was constant proactive communication from the staff to keep people moving through every step in the process. They knew exactly what I needed to know and answered all of the questions I would have asked, had they not answered them first. Its as if they were reading my mind. It was clear that the process was designed for effiency and everyone at every station was very well trained, competent, cool and collected. There was no wait to get in or delays getting through the process. I was very pleasantly surprised and this almost never happens.

We walked in and didn’t have an appt. they were also booked for walk-ins n had a waiting list. But Mari helped us out and she was awesome. My son had to have a physical by the next day in order for him to play football. Mari and her team was so courteous to everyone that walked in and didn’t have appt. the Doctor that saw my son was very good as well as her medical assistant. Awesome job Mari and team thank you for squeezing us in on ur busy schedule.

So easy to get a Covid test! We were surprised by the steady stream of clients coming in for a test but it was well managed. There was plenty of parking, required appointments meant a short line, and each staff person we engaged with was efficient and friendly. The environment felt very safe. Testing was done outside, everyone was socially distanced, staff had full PPE, and masks were required for all clients except when physically performing the test. Would definitely go there again.

The test and the testers were perfectly fine. It’s the horrific 10 minute walk plus another four minutes into the parking lot to get to the testing site A lot of us do not have a car or we have a physical handicap so getting to the site in the first place Is near impossible. The site itself and where it’s located is set up to only certain people who have a car and are able-bodied.

I was very nervous for my first test. Upon arrival, we were ushered right in and greeted with kindness. All staff kept their distance with professionalism. Information was received and we were moved to the EMTs, who were extremely understanding of the nerves. They explained the process patiently, showed the test tool, and described what to physically expect. The test went quickly and was exactly what was described. Thank you to all those at the Aurora Test Site! You were stellar.

Loved the ease of online scheduling & patient history paperwork ahead of time. Heather & Tiffany greeted us immediately & collected the necessary info for checking in my son for the best priced sports physical in Kitsap county - only $50!! He saw a very personable & thorough Physicians Asst - Glenn Peterson who took great care in evaluating my son, including extra focus on his mental health given current COVID-19 circumstances. I highly recommend Indigo Urgent Care in Poulsbo!

Great experience! Booking an appt on line was easy. Starting with a volunteer as you enter the parking area, there are volunteers every step of the way to ensure social distancing and ensure the process runs smoothly. Entire process took about 30 min. Must have I.D. There is no charge. Vaccination site is a short distance away from the parking garage; which is free. Umbrellas are thoughtfully provided as is physical assistance if needed. Volunteers were friendly, thoughtful and some of the most efficient people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Actual vaccination site is extremely clean and ran with the same efficiency. You may schedule the second part of the vaccine here even if you got the first part elsewhere; provide proof of vaccination either way. After trying to book an appt @ 4 other sites and running into dead ends (out of vaccine, never got vaccine, on the list of providers by mistake, etc) I was extremely thankful to start the process here and I highly recommend this location.

The online process for making an appointment and providing necessary information was simple and fast. The on-site process for the test was fast and smooth. There was plenty of parking and we only had to wait a few minutes for our turn to get tested. People waiting to be tested all wore masks and maintained good physical distancing. The deep-nostril/sinus sampling process for this test was more painful, with lingering discomfort for some time, than the sampling methods used elsewhere in my previous two tests. Using the QR code I was provided for checking test results works nicely, though results are not yet in at this time (less than 36 hours post test).

The staff was amazing! Wait time was super quick! But next time tell me my doctor is going to smoking hot so I could of got ready. Jk But I’ve been having very bad back and leg pain and he was great about getting me a referral for physical therapy and just in general getting me a plan to get better!

I was very impressed with how the Swedish community handled the steady and long stream of individuals coming in for vaccinations. While the lines were long, they moved along efficiently, and staff was there smiling and encouraging all along. If anyone had physical or mobility issues, they quickly helped them forward. It was a top rate job, with qualified staff on hand to provide a calming experience in what could have been otherwise. GREAT work!

Everything about the physical experience was good. What really needs work is the web site. First it said there were no appointments available when I needed a test. It is a walk-up arrangement. The hours were in correct on the web site. Everything was in operation when I got there 15 minutes before it was scheduled to open. Thank goodness I questioned everything the web site was saying because of what I have witnessed by just driving by occasionally.

We are so grateful for this service. Everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and professional. From the greeters directing traffic to the medical personnel that checked us in and physically tested us, we felt at ease in a situation that could have been very intimidating. I was so appreciative of the testers ability to articulate expectations and keep us calm/distracted during the swab. Thank you!

Hobart Physical Exams

A annual physical exam (or annual well visit) is a routine check-up where a doctor or healthcare provider checks you for routine health issues and asks you basic questions about your health. During a physical exam, the doctor will most likely go over your medical history and ask you questions about the current state of your health. They'll also check vital signs like your heart rate, blood pressure, and temperature, as well as take a look at whether your skin appears healthy. You'll also get a head and neck exam, a lung exam (using a stethoscope), an abdominal exam, a neurological exam, and more. Women may get a breast and pelvic exam and men may get prostate, penis, testicular, and hernia exams.

Annual exams are important because they can help you find out about health issues early on so treatment can begin as soon as any problems are discovered. If you're overweight or you're at risk for diabetes, you'll most likely get a blood sugar test too. Everyone over the age of three should have a physical exam every year. At age 50, your doctor might start screening for colorectal cancer. At 40, women should begin getting regular mammogram screenings for breast cancer. Women ages 45 to 54 should get them yearly and women 55 and older should get them (at minimum) every two years.

AWVs do not require BMI and blood pressure measurements. These can either be self-reported or delayed.

  • Are video visits with general practitioners covered by my insurance?

AWVs are generally covered once per calendar year. Your insurance coverage for in-person physicals will be similar to the coverage provided for AWVs. Book a telemedicine visit to see estimated costs in the Hobart area.
