Urgent care
I have brought my child to this location several times over the years for after hours care and all the staff have always been very professional and courteous. It has been such a relief as a parent to have prompt care when a child is ill and they have always taken good care of us. I would recommend this location for care.

Been in pain for 2 weeks. Got online and scheduled for same day. Quick check-in, quick to be seen, and the doctor on staff was amazing! Very informative and extremely helpful.

Urgent care
I live in Albuquerque and my experience here was awesome in comparison with the service I get at home at an urgent care. From short wait time to the attention I got from the nurses, tech and the doctor, I’m extremely grateful. Thank you!!

Urgent care
I appreciate that I was able to walk in without an appointment.   However, I don’t feel Juan took any real time to hear me out.  He talks rushed, behaved rushed, and have his explanation rushed.  You don’t get to help a patient if you don’t actually listen to the patient.  I was told I have an abnormal ekg reading along with some concerning symptoms I’ve had and then told I have nothing to worry about. To me it seems like he was eager to go sit back at his desk.  With a clinic as empty as this one, I don’t see what the rush was about.

I saw FNP Paige Thomas and she was wonderful. Great questions and had actually read my file from my last visit. Explained what she was prescribing and why and even verified that I had a follow up with my PCP or needed to be rechecked. Made me feel like she cared and wanted to make sure the upper respiratory infection got cleared up. I would definitely recommend seeing her again

I walked in needing to be seen asap! They were fast and friendly and were able to fix me right up and on my way on a timely manner.

Urgent care
Scheduled the appointment very last minute due to some discomfort. All the staff was extremely kind. The ladies at the front desk helped me sign up for a discounted program since I don’t have insurance. The nursing assistant and the NP were so kind as well and made me feel very comfortable. By far the best care I have had since moving to AZ. 10/10 would recommend.

Urgent care
I felt so welcomed by the front desk, followed by a wonderful nurse. So impressed with your incredible PA, Ali Lewandowski. Professional, efficient & truly caring.   You are lucky to have such skilled providers.  If I ever had to come back again, I would choose Nextcare again, because of this experience.

Urgent care
I went in with what I assumed was ear and sinus infections. The staff was very kind and friendly. Without scheduling an appointment, my wait time was maybe 5-10 minutes after completion of paperwork and I was seen shortly after going to the exam room. The PA/NP was kind, friendly and thorough and had me on my way quickly with prescriptions sent to the pharmacy immediately.

Urgent care
The ladies in he front desk were very disrespectful . Waited 20 minutes for my paperwork to leave! No one told me why it was taking so long! And when I did get it she did not even acknowledge there was an an issue! I said bye and thank you with no response back from her! She was very rude! The Dr was very nice and thorough !

Urgent care
I was hesitant in the beginning because I assumed I’d be rushed and not heard. I was quite surprised, the virtual visit was my first and I must admit that the physician’s and bedside manner was even better than any office visit I’ve had in years. And the phone representative went above and beyond to help me correct my payment error. C  The staff at the facility was just as professional caring and friendly.

The wait time was reasonable! The admission desk clerk and nurse Jasmine were great! The nurse tech that removed my ear👂 wax was  wonderful, knowledgeable & friendly!  And, there was minimal discomfort! I was relieved, satisfied & pleased with his performance! Yes, I will return and, yes I can recommend YOU as a proficient provider of care! 😎

Urgent care
Needed to be seen urgently for a possible UTI. Could not see my PCP for a month so we did a Urgent Care search on GOOGLE and found NextCare right down the road from our house. Getting an appointment online was easy and had an appointment set for 20 minutes...I was impressed. We jumped in the care and went straight over. Checking in and the staff were great. The wait time before taking back for my screening was minimal and the care given by PAC Jennifer Guitierrez was exceptional...she made me feel very at ease with my situation and I greatly appreciated that. NextCare on McDowell will be our first choice for future urgent care needs. Thank you all!!

I am so very BLESSED! Dr. Ann helped me sooo much!! I am in Urgent Care, (it seems like) at least 2-3 times a month. I am mentally and physically disabled, a Single Parent and I have 3 children. I was in there for 1 1/2 hours, due to everything being my fault. Dr. Ann was the only Doctor that was able to find the true cause of my sickness. I have been sick for 2 months, even went to TMC a few weeks ago. All along, the fevers, pain in my head, not sleeping, and sore throat, wasn’t “Viral”. It was from an Ear Infection that had 2 months of dried up blood, (that turned black and hard) in my Ear Canal. She took up so much of her time on me, that I PRAY TO GOD, that HE Blesses her! All this time. Since July 17th, my birthday. I had gotten a “Daith piercing” to stop migraines from the TBI. Well, I blood a lot from the piercing, and when she said “she couldn’t see inside my ear because of the Wax buildup”, I told her the truth. I went into Urgent Care thinking I had the Covid, or Mono (Dr. Ann just diagnosed my 17 year old with it 6 days ago) and it was neither one. My Ear was infected. It took her 1 1/2 hours to get 6 pieces of, (what looked like) black coal out of my Ear Canal. It was actually 2 months of dried up blood. I’m cannot THANK Dr. Ann or the entire Staff, enough! My eldest sister, is Dr. Annie Pearson. I do hope one day they can meet because my own sister was shocked that TMC didn’t catch it! GOOD JOB Urgent Care for hiring Dr. Ann at Old Spanish Trail in Tucson, Arizona!!!!! Thank you, Maureen Pearson

Next Care Urgent Care is what I call “modern medicine”. Or “current care”. Meaning that the way Next Care is managed as a business and as a medical facility should be adopted by ALL medical facilities! Mind you this is for non life threatening issues. Go to the emergency room for that. For all other medical needs for any member of your family, I highly recommend going here or to a facility that is managed the same way. 1. Once you register you wait time can be managed from a smart phone. This provides you the opportunity to stay home until the staff is ready to see you. No waiting at the office. You can if you wish (aside from COVID related issues). They will text you when it is time to come in. Drive straight to the office and they will be expecting you. 2. Treatment is pretty standard but very friendly. No stuffy Dr. or clinical feeling. 3. They offer a membership program for $39 a month. To get started I paid around $170 for 3 months. My bill was well over $300 for the visit and two tests. Any future visit only costs $39 + and outside treatment and or testing if needed. For someone that doesn’t have OVER PRICED MEDICAL INSURANCE this is extremely affordable access to awesome medical care and preventative treatment. Even if you have medical insurance I would still recommend this service if nothing more then the wait time. We all know nursing a sick child is way easier at home then in the office. Plus you can’t beat the cost. Highly recommend! Go Next Care.

Arrived at the Scottsdale location and was immediately greeted by desk reception. Person explained the process and I started to register using a QR Code. Registration process was quick and easy. I was even able to take a photo of my driver’s license and insurance card to upload. I was in the waiting room for roughly 5-10 minutes before being called into the treatment area. That was so fast that I barely had enough time to complete the registration….awesome! The triage person took my vitals, asked why I was being seen, and swabbed my throat for strep. Not the friendliest person but she performed her services well. I was then taken to an exam room where I waited for less that 5 minutes for a provider who entered into the room to exam and diagnose me. Ryan was his name and he was a FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner). Great guy with a great bedside manner too. Explained everything extremely well and I was discharged within another 5 minutes. I waited in the patient waiting room for another 2 minutes for my discharge paperwork. The whole visit took virtually no time. The facility was extremely clean and everyone was required to wear a mask. Thru accept tons of insurance plans and because I had met my deductible, I was not required to pay for anything. I would highly recommend using this Urgent Care Facility and I would not hesitate to return should I need to be seen in the future.

I’m not from phx and only heard of Banner health. Trying to get a X-ray for my daughter and see an MD. Every location I called they were boarderline just annoyed I called or downright rude. Banner I guess is socialized medicine now . One urgent care we just walked out after the snotty girl demanded that I leave the building (covid natzi ) like I , a perfectly healthy person, was a threat to everyone there ( zero ppl in waiting room ) and could NOT go back w my daughter! But to order me OUT of the building crossed the line. We got something to eat wondering if we’d ever find a “normal” urgent care .we saw Alpha Med was right around the corner. We walked in , ppl friendly , it looked clean and professional and they said “sure!” You can be with your daughter ! MD was not on duty but saw a great PA, who listened to everything in detail and did thorough exam . Was very pleasant and took time with us . Even Tex me later that night regarding substituting meds and calling that in that evening ! I wasn’t expecting that! Usually it’s next day after 6 pm . Overall very A plus experience ! 180 degree opposite from the angry , controlling banner health ppl !

Overall, very pleasant experience. The wait time was incredibly short. Everyone was really polite and friendly, especially the doctor. I've seen her here once before and she's very thorough, thoughtful, and really seems to enjoy what she does, which helps when/if one already has anxiety about going in. She doesn't just sit down, ask what the problem is and say "okay, here's what we're going to do" she runs through the plan and asks how it sounds to you and if you're okay with that (if there are multiple treatment options, sometimes there might not be). She is also through when asking again, if you have allergies to medications, and other health conditions, and also helps explain what is causing whatever issue you're having and why/how the treatment will work. She also is diligent to ask again about any medical conditions or medication allergies. She also never makes you feel like you're making a big deal over nothing, which has happened to me before at doctor's visits. Overall really good experience, I would recommend this place go any friends or family if they need an urgent care location to go ro but don't know where since there are many options.

This was my third contact and second visit to this facility for the same medical issue. I made my appointment two days prior and my appointment was for 1 PM. Upon check-in, I was sent a text that would tell me where I was in line to be called to an examining room. The text stated there was one person ahead of me. A person was called, but then there were three other people called after that one person. I finally went up to the front desk and stated I had made my appointment two days ago for 1 PM. I was informed there was one person ahead of me, and now people are walking in off the street and being called before myself. I then asked where was I in line. The girl at the front desk told me that I should be next. When I asked if I was next, she told me that she was moving some things around on the computer. I do realize when you have an appointment at one of these facilities, next care urgent care, there will be waiting involved. This is unsatisfactory and very poor customer service.

We had an amazing experience! My son flew off his electric skateboard and we knew through this pandemic we couldn't take him to the ER. We immediately got into the center and treated. Amanda (MA and Rad Tech) was so genuine with her care and did such a great job! Tiffany the NP was top notch! We've seen her before and always have a great experience! She spends time explaining things and getting to known us. She listens, she cares, she goes above and beyond! We had to have xrays and stitches and NextCare did all of it! Tiffany was absolutely amazing! The staff stayed until 8:30 pm with us and they never rushed us even though they were closed. Tiffany helped Amanda clean the room and they demonstrated teamwork! We wouldn't go anyplace else! We drove 45 minutes to come here versus the ER or the urgent care competition that is 15 minutes from us. The follow up phone call the next day to ensure our son was doing well was wonderful and very genuine! Thank you so much!!!

I truly was surprised at how this particular urgent care handlerd everything … When the assistant did my vitals etc she was very professional and interested in my short story about my health .. I was grateful because since november things have been interesting to say the least (concerning my health). Dr Daniel showed great concern for me and really stressed that if my symptoms worsened to go straight to the er .. He also said to feel free to call them if i had any questions.. In the last 10 months i had kidney removed becauSe of cancer and covid as well as gallbladder removed. up until all of this in my lifetime you could count on one hand how many er/hospital visits i had made .. 4 times including my birth and my kids birth as well as diagnosed with ms .. Soooooo let me just say i appreciate their immediate care as my doc was to busy. ugh. Now if they get my antibiotic ready we can start getting this under control . thank you everyone

Emergency Molar Infection- Antibiotics Care required by New Dentist because I had had fever. Couldn't find any Carondolet Network Urgent Care centers. Non-existent now. Drove to last known site, diagonally from River & Stone location. Several Receptionist didn't know about former Carondolet Network Urgent Care. One older lady overheard my plea and pointed out New Urgent Care. She saw how sick and how desperate I was. I felt I was going to collapse and die. Thank God I received immediately a welcomed, compassionate and professional assistance to get registration started. They gave me HOPE that I would be helped. Such compassionate and gracious Staff. I appreciated having the choice to purchase my RX onsite and begin taking the first dose and my choice of waiting in the loveliest decor waiting area. I had been afraid to drive to my designated pharmacy many miles away feeling weak, endangering my life and others during rush hour traffic. Southern Arizona Urgent Care Plus saved my life during a critical moment of my life!

Despite we’re in the times of Covid-19, my wait time of approximately 20 minutes was rather fast because I had a wrist break. Considering taking X-rays, reading them, and then the staff having to immobilize my wrist for comfort until I could get into an Ortho specialist in which the NextCare doctor had given me a list of names to do so, my appointment was only 2 hours long. I appreciated their concern and comfort care throughout my discomfort of a broken bone in the radius of my hand. I was able to get an Appt to see an Ortho Specialist the next day and am grateful for NextCare’s encouragement in this process. NextCare Urgent Care has always been my go to place for emergency services and will remain so because of their expertise plus they are conveniently located less than 2 miles from my house. Thanks for all you did for me especially since this happened 2 weeks before Christmas! Gratefully yours ~ PJ

After a horrible experience at a different urgent care, I left and came here. Masks were required which was very frustrating because my 5 year old daughter can’t breathe well in them and she was having a panic attack. I seriously wish clinics weren’t requiring them, they’re very uncomfortable for children and adults. Leave them to the medical field. Everyone seems only focused on Covid and my daughter had strep. It was difficult to get her in to be seen and strep is a dangerous infection. I was very upset with the lack of care from other clinics and my child being blown off and immediately treated like a Covid patient when she had strep. Nextcare on Willow rd in Prescott was the only place that actually took the time to check her and discovered it was indeed strep. I appreciate the nurses who helped and were caring individuals. Stacey was one, but I can’t remember the other one. They were great! Thank you both.

I was very happy that I made the appointment on-line along with all the paperwork. It was WONDERFUL to not have to fill out those papers while digging for med card & drivers license that never comes out. In addition there was a choice on the app to put in all the usual information not just for this visit but for any future visits. You take pic of front/back of insurance card and drivers license. The waiting area was very clean and not crowded at all. The DR. who saw me was very personable and professional. She provided easy suggestions on how to manage my illness and checked to see which medication would work for me AND my insurance. I love this place! Now I'll never have to go to that other Urgent care in Laveen. It was like a small circus over there and not very friendly or attentive physicians.Maybe it was a one-off.

I had a fever at 105 that eventually got brought down to 103 then to 100 and was throwing up and no other doctor would see me. They said they couldn’t see me because I had a fever and I was throwing up because those are signs of coronavirus. RIDICULOUS! It’s seems like any ill symptoms you have are now instantly put under as coronavirus. NextCare Urgent Care took me in with open arms. They still put there life at risk knowing I could possibly have covid. They gave me a rapid test and my test did come out NEGATIVE! They answered all my questions I had and were super nice to me even though I looked like a zombie. So so grateful for them considering I didn’t have to to the ER and get put with all the covid patients while having a weak immune system! Thank you so much NextCare Urgent Care!

Amazing! Our family is a huge fan of this urgent care and the awesome staff. Went in today for minor laceration and was worried about the risk of Covid exposure. Was greeted immediately and helped by Vanessa MA who went above and beyond by helping me fill out the paperwork since I couldn’t. She was super friendly. With no wait time at all, I got taken straight to the procedure room and prepped by a very professional and kind young man. He was very knowledgeable and helped me feel better about this stupid accident. Then Crystal NP came in and stitched me up in no time. She too was very kind and so great. This place the best, and if feels like home (the only difference is that it’s probably cleaner than our house!). Thank you Southern Urgent Care on Grant. Always impressed by how great our family experiences have been here.

We are so fortunate to live next to this Next Care Urgent Care! Everyone one here is so friendly, they actually care about each patient, they listen to our issues, and find solutions to solve our immediate medical issue. I was fortunate to interact with Dr. Jeannette and Nurse Tommy - both were super great to work with, informative, quick to respond, and they were so kind. I didn't feel like a "number" with them. And I felt as if all of my questions & concerns were answered completely. I am so happy we live so close to this Next Care. If we are ever in need to see a medical professional, we can be here in a matter of minutes, and be seen quickly and with complete care. Thank you to the team, including the Front Desk Manager who was so sweet to me upon check in.

It was later at night when I had to rush my hubby to urgent care...it seemed this location was one of the very few open at 9-10-11pm. It was quite a drive for us, but turned out to be worth the drive over the extreme costs at an ER. Friendly staff, informative, helpful, empathetic & the wait was very reasonable considering approx 4-5 people were in front of us. Nobody likes to wait even a minute when your not feeling well, but it really was pretty fast. The PA-C was very efficient & listened - asked the right questions & worked with us to determine what RX would work best for his diagnoses condition. Actually it took longer to get our RX filled at the pharmacy than it did to get into and treated at Urgent Care! Thanks guys! Will definitely share our experience with others!

I had such a pleasant experience at this urgent care on Camelback road. I honestly hate going to any doctor or urgent care, but I needed a Covid test because I was having symptoms. Everyone from the front desk staff, medical assistants, and the PA were wonderful. I really wish I knew the PAs name because I’d name her on this review. Everyone was so nice, thorough, professional and helpful. It was easy to register and to check out. It was a great experience and I would definitely come back…Thank you everyone for continuing to serve on the front lines during Covid 19 and putting your own health on the line to help all of us who are sick and in need of care. I wish you the best during the holidays and pray for continued good health…

I’ve been to several urgent care facilities over the years and this by far was the best one ever. All of the staff was extremely friendly. I was greeted the minute I walked in the door, when most of the other facilities have a sign to sign in and then they give you a stack of paperwork to complete if it’s your first time there. I liked that I was able to complete the paperwork on my phone. It didn’t take long for the nurse to call me back after I completed my paperwork. She was extremely friendly as was the P.A. that I was seen by. Although this location isn’t the closest one to my house, it will be the only one I go to in the future when I need to be seen by a doctor.

On Nov 30th *** visited the facility on 19th Ave phoenix az. Needed and they understood what I needed a rapid test. I was told that the results should be ready the next morning. Stopped in next day no result. I never received any notification from those folks at the 19th Ave phoenix. I finally called what appeared to be the headquarters for the urgent care and these folks tracked down my results. It certainly was not a rapid test and I had to take 3 or more days to get help. I was told that I could pickup a copy of the results at the next are in my town of Casa Grande az. Those folks were excellent and the reviews I listed 5 stars was for the Casa Grande Az office.

Urgent Care in Arizona

With numerous walk-in clinics and urgent care centers in Arizona, it's simple to find one nearby, particularly in metro areas like Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tucson. When you have minor injuries and illnesses that need attending to when other clinics aren't open and it isn’t serious enough for the emergency room, and Arizona urgent care is a great solution. Let's take a look at some of the top rated clinics and what you'll find when you get there.

Urgent Care in Arizona

Arizona is one of the top markets in the country for urgent care creating a crowded competitive field. Some of the industry leaders like NextCare, Fastmed and Banner Health are even headquartered in and around Phoenix. Additionally, Concentra, the largest network of urgent care and occupational medicine clinics in the country has a robust footprint around Arizona.

Walk-in Clinics in Arizona

Walk-in clinics are making quite a footprint in Arizona, particularly with retail clinics. As is the trend with much of country, Minute Clinic (which operate inside CVS pharmacies) and Healthcare Clinic (formerly Take Care Clinic; which operate inside Walgreens) are found in most populate areas within the state, particularly in the Phoenix and Tuscan areas. Arizona retail clinics are able to assist with most non-emergent healthcare needs, but unlike urgent care centers, don’t offer a physician on-site or more advanced equipment and procedure capabilities.

Healthcare Leaders in Arizona

In addition to urgent care and walk-in clinics in Arizona, the state offers a multitude of healthcare centers to serve the growing and aging population. Specifically, the Mayo Clinic, a globally recognized and universally respected healthcare provider, has two campuses in Scottsdale. In addition to outpatient surgeries and specialty services, the Mayo Clinic also features an urgent care clinic to assist in minor medical emergencies. US News rates the Mayo Clinic Phoenix campus as the top in the state, and they say that in the most recently reported year. The state also boasts other large hospital systems including Banner Health, Abrazo Health Care, Dignity Health and the University of Arizona Health Network.

Urgent Care FAQs

  • How much will an urgent care visit in Arizona cost?

The price charged at an urgent care, whether in Arizona or elsewhere, will be based on the location, and there are no actual standard costs between the clinics. Assuming you are paying with cash, you might come across an urgent clinic that charges you $50 while another situated some mile away charges you $100 for the same services. The standard cost in urgent care where insurance cover is not involved ranges from $100 to $125. This price is generally the standard price of a visit before extra services. There are a couple of additional care services that could make your appointment to an urgent care costly including x-rays and lab tests, medications and injections (such as immunization), casting broken bones, as well as stitches and splints. If you have a viable insurance plan in place, the standard pay will be between $20 – 50 depending on your insurance coverage and whether you are in contact with the provider.

  • Are Arizona urgent care centers open after hours?

Most primary care doctor offices are open during routine work hours, Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Conversely, most of the urgent care centers in Arizona are available after hours, on weekends, and many holidays. Typical urgent care hours are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily, although location-specific hours may vary.

  • Do urgent care centers in Arizona take appointments?

Historically, urgent care centers were strictly an on-demand, walk-in healthcare service mode. More recently, as consumer behaviors and expectations have evolved, many urgent care clinics have begun offering book ahead visits, allowing consumers to select a same-day or next-day time that works best for their schedule. Use Solv to find a Arizona urgent care center that offers advanced bookings (or appointments) and book online.

  • How do I book an appointment online with an urgent care in Arizona?

Solv allows Arizona residents and visitors to book urgent care visits online with just a few taps. Same-day and next-day visit times are generally available, and you can search for real-time availability clinics.

  • How can I find an urgent care in Arizona who takes my insurance?

Solv allows you to find any of the urgent care and walk-in clinics in Arizona, many of which accept most major commercial insurances. Just browse the clinics page to see if your carrier and plan is listed. If you are still unsure, it is best to contact the urgent care center directly for clarification.

  • Do Arizona urgent care centers offer virtual visits or telemedicine?

Many urgent care centers, including those in Arizona, now offer virtual visits or telemedicine for residents and visitors throughout the state. Virtual urgent care visits are generally booked online whether in advance or on-demand. Clinics that do offer virtual care have a video icon on their profiles.

  • What is the best urgent care center in Arizona?

While it would be easy to provide a list of urgent care centers in and around Arizona, 'best' is a challenging term to qualify. For some consumers, that could mean the closest location whereas other people may prioritize patient reviews, service costs, availability, or whether or not the provider accepts their insurance. With the list of locations above, use the filters provided to narrow the results to find the best urgent care for your needs.

  • What is Urgent Care?

Urgent care is available to assist patients that are looking for immediate, convenient medical care. In that manner, they are similar to an emergency room. The difference, however, is that ERs are meant to treat major, life-threatening injuries and illnesses while urgent care centers manage life’s minor bruises and bumps. In simple terms, an urgent care is seen as a walk-in health center that focuses in offering non-emergent health care conditions, including the treatment of the typical illnesses and injuries such as fractures and sprains, cuts and burns, scrapes, stings and bites, flu and cold symptoms, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, and much more. Most urgent care facilities offer both diagnostic and preventive care such as well visits, immunizations, STD testing and annual physicals. For regular visits and check-ups on these clinics, you should expect to pay between $20 and $100. The good thing is that most urgent care clinics will accept major PPOs and insurance cover, Medicare, as well as self-pay in the form of credit cards or cash. Urgent care clinics are located in most parts of the country in various regions to offset emergency room visits and provide a gap in healthcare services. They take patients during all hours of operations, which offer a significant convenience to most people who have and continue to undergo the need for sudden and immediate medical attention.
