Was able to get in quickly, desk staff was nice, but they called my prescription into the wrong pharmacy and I had to drive quite a ways to get it.The doctor that came in literally was in the room one minute, I had questions that weren’t answered. I felt like she was already out the door. Very impersonal.

Bad cough, extremely sore throat, overall felt very bad. Went to HH Urgent Care in Muscle Shoals. Waited almost 3 hours to see a very helpful and pleasant CRNP, who diagnosed and treated my problem. Staff was very nice and helpful—just not enough of them. Many  of us were probably  exposed to the flu and Covid due to the overcrowded waiting room and extended wait time.

I had just went to my doctor on Monday because I had a scheduled appointment, told him I was hurting since last Thursday and I was taking Tylenols for my pain. I told him my back and side was hurting and I couldn’t sleep for those nights. He. Over looked me and my pain. I told the nurse before the doctor came in the room, I told the doctor how I was feeling, as he sent out I asked about my pain, go they will take care of me. When I went to pick up my medicine, no medicine for my pain. This was Monday. I went to Walmart and got pain pads for my side and back. I couldn’t take the pain and to Urgent Care. Wow! The nurse was nice and very knowledgeable. Then the doctor came in and gave me a  urine test. Told me two things gave me a prescription and come back in three days if I am still in pain.  Thank the Lord.

New to the area. I started having foot pain this morning. Pain continued throughout the day. I called and the young lady told me to get there my 7:30. When I arrived she was so polite. I could barely walk, but she came over helped me to get checked in and took my ID and Insurance information. Called back very quickly. The young ladies in the back were all worried about me trying to walk on my foot. The doctor was so soft spoken and really listen to me and what was going on. I really appreciate the professionalism and concern from everyone in the office. Thank you all for taking care of my needs.

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

Nurse and doctor are so friendly.. only thing the lady working the waiting room also very nice and helpful but several of the patients that came in did not have a mask on and asking to be Covid tested. I think it should be Inforced. The lady working the check in desk never ask them to put one on. Other than that it was perfect

Check in staff and my nurse was great that Dr I had today was less than kind and needs to work on her attitude and the way she comes across I understand during these times the Heath care staff deals with a lot but if the people checking you in and the nurses who are doing ALL the grunt work like getting the Covid test blood work etc and they can still be kind and have a good attitude so can the Dr who just has to come in and say self isolate until we get your results. I felt like I was a burden to the Dr vs a patient.

Had to wait over an hour past my scheduled time slot but the clinician was swamped with COVID testing and it was day after Christmas so i empathize with their situation. I do wish their was better means of handling rescheduling the time so you’re not online waiting for the virtual visit. The clinician was very supportive and knowledgeable, so visit went very efficiently and I was pleased with the service.

I can not use the patient portal link and there is no text from them only an email that is sending me to a dead end. I will have to call the location Monday. No I will not recommend people to a place where they can not find out results for tests. As I entered I was wondering why the person at the from desk was giving someone results on the phone loudly, now I understand. We are all sick at my house and this is just another problem I do not need.

I normally have a very good experience here and the staff is always very friendly, but unfortunately it just seemed pointless to have to wait over an hour to be told, “I don’t know” when it came to what was wrong with my sick baby. The doctor did no tests and didn’t even notice the rash on my son’s diaper area until I pointed it out. Just felt like time wasted plus they asked us to wait in what they described as the “hottest room” when other rooms were available.

I brought my grandson to be tested for COVID-19 since his mother tested positive four days earlier. This was our first visit so the “new patient” paperwork—completed on-line in our car—took quite a while and after submitting the information there was a wait of about 20 more minutes before it was our turn to see the doctor. The test administration was excellent and we received the results in just 20 minutes or so. Overall an excellent experience for our first visit.

The NP we spoke with was helpful and had lots of recommendations like going for testing, etc. I'm chosing to keep an eye on my daughter for now since she's been over 12 hours without her fever now without the help of fever reducers, is eating and drinking normal and acting herself at this time. But the NP was receptive and wanted to be sure I knew what I can do based off the symptoms I reported that have been happening over the last two days. She made my daughter laugh too. I'm happy with the call and service.

Disliked the wait, but since covid is around, I definitely understand! Love the app that tells you what place in line you are! Even though my daughter was agitated and cranky because of her illness and because of the tests she had to have done, the medical assistant was still so cheerful and upbeat. I’m glad I listened to my mind and stayed the wait, or else my daughter would’ve been miserable. I’ll definitely come back to this establishment!

We have been here about a handful of times and each time their service is superb. They‘re friendly, explain issues and treatments so everyone (incl. my six-year-old) understands them and the wait time is not long. Our appointment was at 2:10. They texted us to come in from the parking lot at 2:05 and we were seen within about 5 minutes. Today, my little one did not want to get swabbed for testing (mouth and nose). Understandably so cause let‘s face it, who likes for someone to seemingly poke your brain through your nose… Anyway, the workers did not threaten or get frustrated (or at least not that I could tell ☺️). She gave us a moment alone and then came back with help and introduced her as a super helper or something. I can just say „wow!“ I was impressed and grateful I didn‘t have to deal with it by myself. They got the swab. It was a success! Thanks for being helpful, friendly and prompt. I would definitely visit them again.

After reading a few reviews online, I was a little nervous but everyone was incredibly friendly and easy to work with! I know for a fact this is a very busy time for them (literally the highest COVID numbers ever) and I was blown away by how nice everyone was. I am an adult that just needed a Covid test and from my phone call to ask how to do it, to the front desk staff, to the staff in the back, they were all amazing. The nurse that did my swab noticed my nose was bleeding (of no fault of hers! It was the cold dry weather) and she was so sweet to make sure I was ok.

Hannah, CRNP was great and the MA was very nice also. The front desk clerk (Jasmine?) could use some communication skills. Walked in at 5:15pm, four people waiting in front of me. I was told that I couldn’t get a covid test because it was too late (almost insinuated that I leave) … wasn’t there for a covid test, just wanted to be seen. They closed at 8pm. At least two people were turned down to be seen after me… not sure why if they didn’t close until 8. As an affiliate employee of HH, I was confused by what was going on and why people were being turned away at such an early time. Maybe there was more behind the scenes that I didn’t see, I sure hope so.

Had Covid test at 2pm. Waited on call from dr. With results...no call. I called facility and was on hold until call was disconnected...texted back to the message that texted me about which testing cone to pull up to...no response...finally another patient pulled up next to me and staff came out to take care of them and I mentioned that dr. haven’t called. She said they will call shortly...it is an hour and half later and still no call as I am typing.

I had spent a miserable night with vomiting and diarrhea and at age 71, in spite of having no fever or respiratory symptoms, I wanted to get a rapid COVID test. I was second in line for the day, the wait was minimal and RN Erica and CRNP Bettie Smith provided a prompt test (fortunately negative), a thorough explanation of the results and a prescription for my nausea. Fully recovered in a day.

We were both sick on New Year’s Day. Lots of sick people, and no one wants to go to the ER. My sore throat was bad enough for me to worry about strep. Our regular urgent care facility was closed without any announcement. We stopped at two other facilities and saw long lines and hopeless faces. When I walked into your facility, it was crowded, as was the parking lot. Nevada, the receptionist, was friendly and unperturbed. She told us we could fill out papers in our car. When I asked about the wait, she said 3 hours, but somehow I believed your facility was worth the wait. We went home close by, checked in twice, and then Nevada told us to come in. We were in the lobby a short while, sat in the exam room a while, met a nice nurse, got tested for strep, met Cindy the Nurse Practitioner, got happy results, and went home. Keep up the good work. Do whatever you need to do to keep such cheerful staff on a holiday!

This was my first time visiting Urgent Care and I must say the staff was wonderful. My son was a walk-in but was called in within less than an hour. I had to get him a COVID test because of exposure at school but thank God everything was fine. I can’t remember her name but the technician whom administered the test was so nice to listen to my concerns and vent about school opening. Ms. Chinule Efuribe was wonderful also. Thank you Urgent Care for your kindness and patience

In and out very quickly. Staff was very nice and friendly. I walked in and barely had to wait. The only weird thing was the billing; they apparently go through a third party vendor so they call you a few days later and take the money from you at that point. Everything was great though. They actually listened to what was wrong and didn't blow me off even when all my tests were negative.

- Verified patient on 11/20

Scheduled an appointment for 8:40am and it told me to arrive at 8:25am and check in so I did. I went inside and informed them I was there and they didn’t take me back until around 9:15am and other walk-ins were taken back before me so I was a little frustrated with that but the staffs friendliness made up for the long wait time. I was scared to get a Covid test because I still thought they went up into your brain with it and Heather was super nice and informed me that all they had to do was go in my nostrils and my anxiety went way down. She was kind and courteous and very efficient so I was stoked about that. Definitely the nicest nurse I’ve ever had. Dr Jill Howard was incredible and just as efficient and kind. Any other issues I have I will definitely be going to those guys! The fact that you can schedule an appointment via an app and then check in that way is another huge bonus and another reason why I would choose them over other businesses.

- Verified patient on 7/30

Overall the visit went well. However, and probably something that may not be addressed, but I’ll mention it anyway. Several folks showed up 30-45 minutes early to get tested for possible COVID-19, but only minutes before the doors were open, a young lady drove up and jumped out and went in first, causing friction among her and others who waited patiently outside. Had this been a guy that did this and he was confronted, things could have escalated into a more serious event, as tempers were high. Maybe a sign stating first come first serve could be placed on the front door.

- Verified patient on 1/17

The experience was great. I am just unclear on why people are being charged for COVID testing if the test is required because of exposure and the person is exhibiting symptoms. This could deter people from being tested and COVID is still an issue. I acknowledge that there could be valid reasons for this that I do not know and it is definitely not the fault of the location that I visited.

- Verified patient on 7/15

The lady (sorry I don’t remember her name) who came outside to test me, was extremely considerate and explained everything. She told me she hoped I started to feel better and described in detail that the results would take 15 minutes for me to stay on the property so the telamed call would come in. The Dr on the Telamed call was extremely thorough with her questions. Over all a very nice and comforting experience in an unsure and scary time! Thank you!

Anderson Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test.
