If the staff could cut out the noisy conversations with each other in the back then they could devote more time getting patients through in a more timely manner. Very impressed with Dr. Holly Graber.

This was my first visit there and I scheduled an appointment online and completed all the paperwork online. I arrived 10 minutes early and signed some documents and waited for an hour before I was called. The staff was nice and apologized for my wait and the doctor I saw was very nice but I doubt I’ll go back there

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

One of the best blood draws I’ve ever had. Beautiful technique and ease. Low staff so wait was about two hours, but that’s not the staffs fault.

In and out and on my way and someone who knows how to draw blood. I was thankful for the bowl things in the bathroom so I did not have to pee on my hand to collect a specimen

Ebony was great! Made the process seamless with my blood work!

I was at the SouthMed PSC facility. It was around 10 am and I was fasting. I was also a self/pay patient which I had just found out after countless phone calls over 2 months of figuring out insurance and such. I say all this to drive home the point that often there is little in terms of resolve and resources by the time a patient walks up to the front desk - today I certainly was one of those patients. Without Tina’s pleasant demeanor, patient guidance (on the self-pay paper work and protocol), impeccable manners and courtesy at the front desk, I know I would have had to walk away, as it took approx 38 mins to figure everything out from the time I walked in the door to the time we drew blood. It was thanks to Tina (& then Madison who later collaborated with her) that the 38 mins were a breeze and a welcome breath of fresh air. I wish someone from Training or HR had watched Tina in action. People like Tina ensure there is no substitute for the personal touch and THIS is all that is left to differentiate us from Artificial Intelligence who can do the job just as well if not better. So glad to see that thanks to Tina AI continues to fall short of perfection that can only come from a live (& conscientious) human factor. Tina - one more time, THANK YOU.

The provider was efficient taking blood resulting in a very short wait time of 8 minutes even though a few people were before me in line. Painless and friendly when it was my turn. Thank you.

I really like the fact you can sign in on an iPad now. The plus side of being able to see how many people waiting before you is great with he new Solv app you can download. The front office staff aren’t to friendly when you first come into sign in. I hadn’t used the new method of signing in on the iPad and they were not helpful. After a couple people used the same iPad one after another not knowing the had handy alcohol wipes we could of used in between each person. Only once whole group of about 7 people walked through the door that’s when one of the front desk ladies come out and used a wipe on the front of the iPad and proceeded to help all of them. I guess you have to come in as a group to get better attention from them. The wait time was not to bad I had 6 people ahead of me and two of those on the Solv app showed had appointments. Probably less than a ten minute wait today. The nurse who called me back and drew my blood was great! She knew what she was doing and did it in a professional manner. Even when it flag something in my insurance saying it may not pay she showed me and had me sign and acknowledge whether I wanted it still done. She took my blood and I’ve not gotten a bruise like most leave you with. She was great at her job!

Everything went well except that the nurse/medical technician was rushed, though I can understand that it was close to closing time. First, when she was taking my vitals I had some concerns about getting blood on the oximeter as I had open wounds on most of my fingers. She dismissed my concerns and rapidly put it on my finger. Then when I was to get a vaccine, she was impatient when it was taking me long to raise my sleeve. I raised it to where it was sufficient enough, where I normally get vaccines, but she told me to unbutton my shirt and remove one side. I told her that I had nothing underneath. She became irritated even after I managed to lift my sleeve all the way. She then put the vaccine too high in my arm, close to the shoulder, which, I have read, causes more pain, swelling, and limited mobility afterwards, which I did have. Also, after she administered the vaccine quickly, she left abruptly, without saying a word to me nor putting any bandage. I sat there and watched as the puncture site started bleeding. Luckily, I had a bandage in my purse. I came out the room and was told by the physician that I could leave because the nurse hadn't given me further instructions. The nurse/medical technician seemed nice but just impatient whenever one didn't do as she said. Everything else during the visit was perfect. Check-in was smooth. Waiting time was reasonable. The physician treated me very well. She was knowledgeable and professional. She had a great bedside manner and patiently answered my questions.

Wait time was only slow cause the lady didn’t have any help. But she did good considering she had no help. She did awesome at drawing my blood never felt or stick my arm I would highly recommend the same lady I had that day

When I got to AppleCare my wait time was a little longer than I expected, but you got to understand that with what’s going on with this Covid. I’ll be nice this time about the front staff maybe they where having a bad day. When I got to the back I couldn’t breathe through my nose due to my sinuses. When I tell you that I had the best group of people wait on me when I finally got in. Omg they explained everything what was going on step by step. Whenever they got ready to do anything they came in my room and explained everything unlike most places. My blood pressure was also very, very, high they were very concerned that. And after everything was done they made sure my blood was low before I left. They made me feel like they really cared about me and that’s what it’s all about. When I got home and told my husband how wonderful they were he said “I had the same people about 2 months ago when I went and they treated me the same way”. So thank you BRANDON, CHANTEL and JORDAN for everything you done for my husband and I it will never go unnoticed I’ve being bragging about you guys all night people. It’s because of wonderful people like you that will make people love and want to come back to visit AppleCare.

I try to get a COVID test today, I have downloaded the app and ask me to check in once I arrived. My appointment is 12:20pm and I checked in at 12:00pm, and app told me no one in front of me, but no one calls me in as well, I thought they will text me when is my turn. So I wait in my car. Until the time, still no text messages or nothing, so I walked in. And the rep seems like don’t even know I have an appointment today, and keep asking me all different questions, like are you Anna, I am like no, I am xx. And she is asking r you get vaccines today, I said no, I am here for testing. And she keep asking all other questions on the form which I already filled out on the web. I just wondering the app not really communicating to the clinic, so the rep keep asking me all the same questions again. The second thing is once I sit in the little office, the nurse instead measuring my height and weight, she asking me what is my height and weight to fill out the form. So I provided the answer. She tried to measure my blood pressure, and the number not coming out, and at the end she gave up, and didn’t have my blood pressure. The last thing is when I sit in the little office to wait for my result since I order the rapid test. I saw the sink is dirty with all the water spot on the surface. The one time use ear measurements not full and no one filling up. And the doctor walked in at the end to do a summarize, and her white coat is actually very dirty with black and yellow color around the pockets areas. She probably wear it for a while. But the test results turn out with in 15min, and I am negative. This is what I want to know.

I have been extremely sick for four days now and I have been here several times and I always had a great experience but this time they did not offer to take my temperature or check my oxygen all they did was take my blood pressure The doctor did listen to my breathing and then they give me a shot and the doctor told me he was going to give me some medicine they did not do an x-ray on my chest which is extremely congested and feels like I have a horse on top of me it was late when I got there and I understand they were tired and ready to go home but still yet when a sick person comes in you would think they would take care of them as they would if it was in the morning. I was very disappointed and I am still very sick and will probably end up having to go to the hospital maybe that’s where I should’ve went to begin with but I will not use Sevierville Hospital so I have to go to Knoxville and I have no energy and really don’t know that I want to make that drive by myself. I know you can call an ambulance but I don’t feel like this is an emergency but if my breathing does not get better maybe it will be. I just feel like they could have done more as far as check me out instead of just giving me a shot and a Z pack and prednisone and sent me home. I really just feel like they should’ve checked my oxygen they should’ve checked my temperature and they should’ve at least done a chest x-ray I was just very disappointed this time. I recommend them because it is always been a good place but I’m trying to just make it out as the fact that they close at eight and I got there at seven so they were ready to go home. I tested negative for Covid but not that I want that Q-tip shoved up in my nose but I really don’t think they are testing right because it just barely went up in my nose. I feel like they should do a different type of Covid test if they don’t know how to put the Q-tip in the nasal and actually get a good swab. Just makes me wonder do I have Covid and have I exposed others so I am being very safe at home and staying away from everyone because I am so sick I have no energy and I really can’t drive right now. And I don’t really have anyone to help me because everyone has a life and it’s kind of hard to ask them to stop what they’re doing to take me to the doctor that may take hours you never know. I just thought that urgent care was my best bet because it has always been in the past this time I really just feel like they were done with the day and wanted out of there. If I’m not better in a few days I’m going to have to go to the hospital and I don’t want to. Then I will be exposed to all those germs that has been brought in there. I have a very low immune system and catch everything and anything so I’m scared to go to the hospital but at the same time if I get worse or do not get better I’m going to have to when I really feel like the urgent care could’ve helped me better than they did.

It was amazing and we swab our own noses, which is great, because the last guy gave me a bloody nose.

I had to come in for bloodwork & since I was there I asked if they had time to do my Cat scan that I have scheduled a week from today on the 16, they did. Did my paperwork, was on hold with the billing center from Las Vegas as I had credit of about $664 with NN, I wanted Them to use it towards my scan & labs for today, had my blood drawn, went upstairs to have my scan done. Used then option for the billing center to call me back as I needed to check in with imaging. Had my scan done was waiting for the disc to be copied. NN billing called me back my credit was returned on the 2nd but may not be credited. That lady told me to check with imaging for the cost, imaging didn’t do bit she called down & found out who i needed to talk to in admitting. Went to admitting she checked & I owe zero for my procedures as I have met all my deductible. The people were so courteous. Oh while I was waiting to go for the cat scan I asked how long would I need to wait as I was cold & needed to run to my car to get a blanket, she said your next any minute, let me run & get you a warm blanket. Everyone was so kind. Also in admitting the young lady was looking for my approval slip from insurance I said I had gotten a letter approving it, I had my husband take a pic of it & he texted it then the admitting lady emailed it to herself & I was ready. Everyone went out of their way to Provide excellent service & they were all caring & professional. Thank you

Everyone was very respectful and cared about how I was . They evenough wanted to Cala ambulance for me because they said I was so sick On the other hand once getting to the hospital and staying for 7 hours they said my kidneys were not working right and just because I have COVID and kidney problems that is not A medical necessity For me to be admitted to the hospital. At one time my oxygen level was at 70 and was sounding off for like 5 minutes before the came in my blood pressures was70/54 they asked me how did I feel and I told them dizzy and just not feeling right. At that point they reset the messages and left . I also had to ask if they could unhook all my Leeds on me so I could go to the restroom it was 8:30 and I had been there since 1:30 . After 4 more times of asking for help I told them I was going to undo it my self and go ! Well after that they were there in less than 5 min.she was The nicest person that helped me is the lady that was doing the nuclear cat- scan I’m me ! The only thing they sent me hope with was 20 Tessa pearls and Medicine for nausea

The person taking the blood was rude. Did not have any patience with customer and unwilling to take suggestions on what usually works for me as I am one whose veins are difficult to find My standing blood order was hard to find.

Elise is EXCELLENT and extremely knowledgeable in her field of accupuncture. The front desk staff were pretty decent. The facility is very clean as things should be! The restroom was equally clean! Very much appreciated as most places do not have such tidy restrooms. I also really appreciated the pleasant art works. Most of them were very, "Happy," pieces! 😊 Im sure this will fall on deaf ears. However, Insurances need to cover more things like these since everyone's determined no one can get any real pain meds of any kind, any more. Afew ppl ruined it for the 50 million suffering in moderate to severe pain every day. Alive but not living, having lousy qualities of life. 😢 Degenerative anything simply doesn't improve, thus the word, "Degenerative." Tai Chi is also helpful, so is massage therapy, water therapy, and, sitting on the back of a walking horse. Big Pharma have not gone and found any viable replacements to the natural, plant based medicines. Both Tylenol and NSAIDS will destroy your liver and kidneys if that's all you've access to. It's merely a matter of time. It's not the Gov't's business. It's between a PHYSICIAN and their personal patient. The Physician who sees that patient, knows that patient as a human and, they should make the decisions together. It's called Physician/Patient privalege. (If this were Lawyer/ Client Privalege there would never have been an issue. Lawyers would have immediately sued.) There was a reason those medicines were used safely for the most part, for over 200 yrs. They're the only ones to fit perfectly like a key into those pain receptors in the brain. According to the DEA the ONLY 2 problem drugs that regularly kill ARE: Oxycontin/codone a total synthetic, and Fentanyl, the partial synthetic developed as a possible anesthetic in the 60's for surgeries. It didn't work. What ever happened to the Hippocratic Oath beginning w/ First, cause no harm? Allowing suffering and pain to continue needlessly is harm. Criminals are going to continue to be criminals no matter what. ONLY certain ppl have addictive personalities. Not everyone does. That's like saying don't build casinos bcz everyone has a gambling problem. MANY ppl really do, yet they constantly ignore that and build them anyway! MOST ppl took the Drug of Choice after surgery and stopped w/ no problems of so called withdrawal at all after the 8-9 weeks or more of recovery and physical therapy. These are all highly controlled meds anyway. By current definitions of dependency a person who has high blood pressure or diabetes is, "addicted, " to their medications. Are they going to be hauled away as addicts, too? This entire fiasco is lunacy, madness and, simply cruel and inhumane. Dogs are not allowed to suffer as humans, children, vets, disabled, the elderly, and, the dying are. A Physician goes into the Art and Practice of Medicine to EASE SUFFERING, heal and cure. Doctors are only interested in how much money they'll get, how they LOOK, as in, their reputations, and the bottom lines. From Your Own Play Book, " You cannot run Medicine as a business bcz people are not cattle." One of your own mottos that Western Reserve used to teach and instill in their students as a high value. "University Hospitals (used to) gives everyone regardless of ability to pay the exact same high quality care. That patient who cannot pay may simply just be put in a Ward and not given a room, " the same graduate from WESTERN RESERVE Medical School who told me the prior phrase told me this one. (NOT CASE.) He was willing to sometimes treat for free. Polititians have gone and made that Mercy illegal. 😠 Polititians suck. Only acouple of them in DC ( Desperately Corrupt) actually attended Medical School and saw/see patients. Ben Carson, MD, and former Senator, Scott Jensen, MD. There maaay be another but Congress doesn't usually attract the best and brightest. UH needs to return to her roots of easing suffering and provide real care with real pain medicines that are proven to truly ease suffering at the proper dosages and proper lengths of time to be determined by the individual prescribing Physician, be they a Surgeon, Internist, etc. Not determined by some life in an Ivory Tower Group who never see actual suffering on a day to day basis in an ER. UH must take her rights back as a Hospital for the sake of her Owners, Patients AND her Physicians! The Gov't has stolen them!!!! First by telling you that Physicians could no longer be Internists and Endocrinologists, or Internists and Gastroenterologists, or Internists and Rheumatologists! You allowed this to happen bcz you guys did nothing to stop it, even though it was a completely idiotic thing to do by the Governing Boards. It began further compartmentalizing what is a highly complex biological System, the human body! It was taught by you that it is a single interactive, integrated system. What effects one part effects another! Now patients go from Physician to Physician, none of whom are given the time to communicate with each other about their patients. The so called role of Primary Care Physician is Laughable! They've no clue what's going on! They've no time! They may TRY to follow a patient or two, but if they have a Zebra in their practice? Poor Zebra! They're left behind or kicked out of the herd as, too complex. It's not the fault of the Primary either. It is the System that's been allowed to Coagulate around them! They're cluttered w/ too much Busy Work. Hospitals should be in the business of Protecting their Best and Brightest! Offering them the Highest benefits to Stay with Them! Second, the Gov't is demanding to play doctor. A role not in the Constitutions of Federal or State Legislatures, and, one they are not even remotely qualified for. Forcing Physicians to see a patient every 15-20 minutes is a form of insanity. This is simply not enough time to spend with any one patient. It is not time enough to take a comprehensive history, or even to listen to the poor patient fumble to try and describe something they've not been trained to explain! It is the Role of the Physician to ask the proper questions and Guide the patient into describing what's wrong. Physicians need time to physically examine patients. Check their glands, tongue, eyes and ears. Palpate them properly and firmly. It's no wonder Physicians are retiring as fast as they can. They can no longer take the pressure to produce a Product instead of a Result. Telling Physicians who spent their entire lives studying to be Physicians what medicines they should be prescribing is Ludicrous, as well. Niether the Gov't, nor insurance companies should make those determinations, even if they have a "doctor," on staff. Those ppl don't see these patients! Nor should a Team make decisions over another, well qualified Physician! How would you like it if someone came and told you what underwear you were going to put on everyday from now on? That is what it's like for one of you to suddenly be told what to do by an ignorant, raving bureaucrat. That's the level of madness that this insanity has reached, especially now with this Cov-Control. When you take your dog to the vet, you demand The highest quality care for it! Do you not? Why would you not want the highest quality care for your relative (wife, daughter, son, husband...) if, unbeknownst to you, they were suddenly in the ER? Wouldn't you want their personal physician to atleast see them, or, speak to the attending on the phone? Or that the ER Physician will have Mercy and give them pain medicine that will actually work? And not amputate a limb w/out trying to consult SOMEONE or Try to save it? (Metro Health is the Last level 1 Trauma Center in this entire area. Why is that??! Why don't you even have one level 1??! There aren't even any level Two Trauma Centers! Only One 1! All the rest are level 3!! So if your child cuts her finger off (God forbid) you MUST go to West 25th's ER! ) There is no aggregate data from double blind studies bcz there have never been double blind studies conducted on morphine and it's derivatives, "... No physician in their right mind would subject a control group to such a level of suffering... " Stand Up, UH! Take back your rights from the overbearing Gov't! Both State and Federal Gov't's must give you, a HOSPITAL, back your rights to both practice and teach real medicine, as you once did. They must stop editing the text books of so called, "false information," that doesn't fit the media's narrative, or, the ppl who now "own," the AMA. Be the Good Guys Once Again!! And while you're at it, plz, change the name of the School back to Western Reserve. PS, It's ER not ED (ED means something completely different and dysfunctional.) Your "Talking Groups" are incorrect. All that money you and SW paid for those, "studies" was a waste of time! The General Public still call them ER's!

I have breathing issues and a note from my doctor that I am medically exempt from wearing a mask. I wore a shield to show I am following the guidelines as best I can, but in certain environments (no air circulation, hear and humidity) I cannot breathe. When the waiting room was empty, and I took the shield off because I was beginning struggle to breathe and feel light headed. The staff at the front began talking about how I needed to wear a mask (Yes, you can hear everything through the not soundproof glass), and called me up to the window. I replaced my shield before I went up to the window. The staff asked me to wear a mask. I said, “I can try, but I have a note from doctor saying I can’t wear one.” They said they would ask the technician if she was okay with that, and asked me to wear the shield in the empty waiting room. I put the shield back on, but I was very much struggling to breathe. Thankfully, the wait was short. The technician was very kind and very good (I hardly felt the blood draw), but I was really struggling to breathe by this point! She could see something was wrong and began asking if I was okay. By this time I was in tears, and hardly able to talk. I shook my head to let her know the issue was not with the blood draw. I was finally able to tell her that my breathing was the problem. I raced out of the building and into the cold air as quickly as possible. The incident caused a panic attack and took 15 minutes to get my breathing under control. I understand the mask mandate but there is a medical exemption. Please be more considerate of those who have one. I could have passed out and no one would have understood why because they didn’t take the time to listen.

I hate getting my blood drawn, but the phlebotomist was great, didn’t feel a thing. Will be back.

About Blood Tests

Blood tests are used as valuable snapshots of your current overall health and can be an effective way of catching illness or disease early, or measuring how you are reacting to new or on-going treatment. There are a variety of types of blood work with most common tests being complete blood counts (CBC), complete and basic metabolic panels (CMP, BMP), thyroid panels, nutrient tests, and sexually transmitted disease (STD) tests.

Each of these blood tests are fairly common and can be performed in a variety of settings including testing labs, primary care offices, urgent care centers, and even retail clinics and some pharmacies. Solv even has clinic partners in the Euclid-area that offer online scheduling, allowing you to book a visit convenient to your schedule and skip the wait. The tests themselves take only a few minutes and usually are performed by a nurse or technician where they:

  1. Clean the area where they will draw blood from, usually your upper arm
  2. Tie a band to your upper arm to make your veins more visible
  3. Put a needle gently into a vein to draw blood into the attached tube
  4. Remove the needle, then the band from the vein when complete
  5. Cover the draw site with a bandage

Risks associated with blood work are very low, but could possibly include slight pain or discomfort at the draw site, dizziness or even fainting from blood loss, or vein puncture. It’s important to discuss any concerns you may have with your medical provider before the procedure begins.
