It took way too long to get in after arriving for my scheduled appointment and I’m very disappointed with the time I have to wait for test results since I’ve had them much faster at most other places.

Great day at CompuNet! Signing in was easy and efficient. Greeted by the young lady at the front desk. My phlebotomist Tiffany greeting me and the rest gets better. She took time to get all my info and questions taken care of and told me the 2 Doctor’s offices who would get my results. But the best part was her great technique in finding the right vein and drawing the blood she needed. She was very professional and so good at what she does that I felt comfortable because getting my blood drawn is one of my least favorite things to go through! Thanks for a great experience today! 😁

My visit to the Lab was quick and easy, there was no-waiting and the staff was friendly. The phlebotomist was amazing!!! The blood draw was painless, he was quick and efficient!

The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The person who drew blood was good - it only hurt a little.

Wyoming Blood Tests

Blood tests are used as valuable snapshots of your current overall health and can be an effective way of catching illness or disease early, or measuring how you are reacting to new or on-going treatment. There are a variety of types of blood work with most common tests being complete blood counts (CBC), complete and basic metabolic panels (CMP, BMP), thyroid panels, nutrient tests, and sexually transmitted disease (STD) tests.

Each of these blood tests are fairly common and can be performed in a variety of settings including testing labs, primary care offices, urgent care centers, and even retail clinics and some pharmacies. Solv even has clinic partners in Wyoming that offer online scheduling, allowing you to book a visit convenient to your schedule and skip the wait. The tests themselves take only a few minutes and usually are performed by a nurse or technician where they:

  1. Clean the area where they will draw blood from, usually your upper arm
  2. Tie a band to your upper arm to make your veins more visible
  3. Put a needle gently into a vein to draw blood into the attached tube
  4. Remove the needle, then the band from the vein when complete
  5. Cover the draw site with a bandage

Risks associated with blood work are very low, but could possibly include slight pain or discomfort at the draw site, dizziness or even fainting from blood loss, or vein puncture. It’s important to discuss any concerns you may have with your medical provider before the procedure begins.
