Everyone was very helpful. I booked the appointment the night before for 9 o’clock when they open. I got right in and Dr. Emanuel came in. He was very thorough and answered all my questions and prescribe medication for me. I have been to urgent care a few times before and everyone is always so wonderful. I would recommend urgent care. I have insurance that covers everything. That was not a worry for me! I had booked my appointment the night before online.

I’ve been to this urgent care many times before and I guess they now have an online scheduling system that I wished I knew about sooner. Staff were very friendly and welcoming except for the woman at the check in counter. Very direct and cold. Clinic needs a good deep cleaning. I would still recommend this clinic as the doctors are always great!

I booked an appointment for a COVID test. The process was very easy. They had same day available appointments. I went early and checked in and waited until they sent me a text. Wait time was fine. The staff member who saw me was very helpful and had terrific knowledge. I would use their services again if needed.

Came for the Covid test for Hawaii & got our results back in about 20 minutes. The only negative was the cost of test at $175 for each of us so $350 we were not expecting especially for us seniors. But we needed this test result within 72 hours of flight.

My family and I were having great difficulty finding a place approved by the State of Hawaii for a fast covid test for our vacation. The AFC staff in Agoura Hills including manager, Svetlana, not only provided that service efficiently and expertly, they patiently helped us navigate through the tangled process of state regulations and insurance reimbursement. They were great!

We didn’t go inside. Got a Hawaii covid test in the car. The person who greeted us seemed like they were at the end of their shift and ready to go home, but everyone else was helpful and kind.

Great facility, great staff. However, my daughter and I had appts at 12:52 and 1:07, they checked us in around 1:10, but we did not receive our COVID tests until almost 2, and didn’t get our results until 2:30. It wouldn’t have been a big deal except that my daughter missed a 2pm appt she had.

We arrived on time for our Covid Test. I guess it was right after lunch. No one came out. After 10 minutes, I called. Thankfully, someone did answer the phone. Then things went very smoothly.

Staff was reassuring while I wanted to have a rapid Covid test to travel the next day. I would highly recommend anyone travel to use AFC! Awesome experience!!!

The Hawaii test experience was fine. However, I did not appreciate the argumentative attitude of the receptionist upon receiving my results. I asked her to email them to me per the state of Hawaii guidelines and she informed me that that would take a couple of days. I explain to her that I was traveling in the morning and needed them emailed to me that day. It was not until a coworker stepped in and volunteered to email them to me that I left satisfied. Overall the experience was fine but it disappointing ending. Some customer relations is definitely needed at the back end.

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
