My worse nightmare of needing an urgent care visit on a Saturday at 6pm. Surprisingly I found Carbon Health Urgent Care with several appointments available. The checkin as a first visit was so easy and I was seen IMMEDIATELY. The physician was attentive, thorough and so friendly. The checkout was amazing, she helped me find a 24 hour pharmacy to get my prescription

Everyone was very helpful. I booked the appointment the night before for 9 o’clock when they open. I got right in and Dr. Emanuel came in. He was very thorough and answered all my questions and prescribe medication for me. I have been to urgent care a few times before and everyone is always so wonderful. I would recommend urgent care. I have insurance that covers everything. That was not a worry for me! I had booked my appointment the night before online.

From the moment we stepped in to the moment we walked out, it was a pleasant visit. The girl who took my daughter’s vitals was very nice, very attentive, and the Dr was a sweetheart!!!! Totally recommend!!! The man at the front desk was so nice to pause a movie to give my daughter the title so we could continue it at home. The girl at the front desk nicely explained how the ticket validation went in order for them to be successful. Zero complaints!!!

I got a COVID test. The doctor was great and fast. It took 3 minutes. The treatment room was very clean so I would recommend. The front desk staff was okay. No greeting, no "Be right with you". The waiting area could have been cleaner.

The entire Covid test process was very professional and managed very efficiently Mayra was my initial contact, and she was extremely helpful with the registration process. Nurse and doctor were pleasant and very empathetic Finally the day of the tests went smoothly and the individual perfecting the actual tests was great I definitely recommend San Fernando Valley Urgent Care

A human answered! Wow! Got help loading my info which was very helpful. Was in and out from COVID test in about 15 min. EXCELLENT 👌 staff was calm, nice and helpful. Free with my SCAN/Optum coverage. The only neg is there was no bathroom use.

I came in because I was having cold/flu/virus symptoms and requested to be tested for COVID, strep, flu, etc. They told me I could only be tested for COVID and if I was negative, then I would need to come back and pay for an entire second appointment. I tested negative for COVID. After paying to come back a second time, the receptionist was very short with me and seemed to not care. However once being sat in a room, the nurse and doctor were extremely kind and friendly. I ended up testing positive for strep throat instead of COVID, and the doctor was very helpful with prescriptions etc. In hindsight I’m not sure if the receptionist was following COVID protocol, or just trying to rip me off and get me to leave. (Once again staff behind the doors was kind and helpful)

So far.... Great experience! I came in for a pre surgical operation (covid test) & I felt the girls at the front went above and beyond to get me what I need. Only problem was how HOT it was in there. Please supply your employees with A/C. I could barely breath properly while being there. But overall, great experience.

Waited a TOTAL of 45mim. Parked, registered via the app, invited into room, swabbed my nose and out! Parking is free. WIN/WIN PARKING LOT: Look up into square and press, get a ticket. The, “ticket,” is like a receipt, not the standard parking ticket. You gotta park on level 2 and higher. Bldg address is clear from the street - look down, it’s an orange, kinda wrap around sign, slow down, the driveway close! That was the biggest challenge. Facility is clean and bright. Oh!!! For the, “rapid test,” plan to pay a whopping $175.00! (What?!). You get your results via printable email. I left happy

Dr. Srinivasa was very nice and explained everything well, quick visit and negative Covid test for my son thank God. Highly recommend!!!!when your kids are not feeling well, you don’t want to sit with long wait times. Visit was less than an hour!

Thank you Daniel for accommodating me for covid testing. I know it was a little late and you were fully bookend and still you accommodated me. Thank you for saving me thousands of dollars plus my stress. You have a lovely combination of professionalism and understanding and I appreciate it very much.

Once you log in & enter all your information, the next time you need a Covid test is simply & fast. I’ve gotten my results early the next day. This is my second time & so far had a great experience with the staff.

- Verified patient on 11/18

I arrived about 10 min early and was the only there. I had to sign in on my phone which took about 5 min. Then i was seen by the covid test administrator which lasted 5 min or less. Easy and quick

I would recommend Reliant to everyone because they’re very efficient! I was able to schedule and get my COVID test with ease. The wait time was short, everyone was socially distant, and the staff was friendly. I was in and out in no time and felt the safe the whole time!

- Verified patient on 8/16

I did not have to wait long, and the gentleman was incredible helpful with options to set up a covid test or to meet with a provider; I also appreciate that he went ahead and set up my test on my behalf so that check-in was easy when I got to the Urgent Care office.

Not posting your rates on your web site seems unethical and a bite of a scam job. Having you request inputting my insurance information on line only to find out you don’t take insurance makes me double down on my 2 earlier comments. Your staff was amazing. My recommendation to others would be……place is a bit of a scam, seems really expensive so shop around. Staff person was really and was sympathetic to my frustration at being bamboozled into a testing site that insinuated the tests was covered by insurance but was not

I have been to VNUC twice now a s everyone has been very professional, polite and friendly. The woman who took my test on 1/13 in particular was very personable and I enjoyed speaking with her. I live in Glendale and will continue to drive to VNUC for covid testing due to my positive experiences. Thank you..

Was in there for maybe 3 minutes total. Got my results 20 minutes later via email in pdf format. It was the most effienct experience I could have ever asked for. Easy parking, easy to get there (right on the corner of Olympic and sepulveda). Couldnt have picked a better place to get tested.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. I needed a rapid Covid test for my daughter and they were the only place that could get me in same day. Wait time was less than 5 minutes. Staff was super friendly. Unfortunately my daughter tested positive and the doctor who called to tell me was so nice and informative and understanding and patient. He stayed on the phone with me for a good 20-30 minutes and answered all my questions. I don’t have one negative thing to say about the care I received here. Thank you for everything, I appreciate it so much!

Before I came to urgent care I went to CVS to get the test I got a very long wait for one and a half hours and gentlemen doesn’t know if I’m gonna get on time my test results I find out this place and I came by the way I’ve got the quick test said and I really appreciate it because the doctor came out and talk to us than the stuff that’s amazing to have careful lovely and friendly stuff I hope everybody is an angel it to come to get treated as an adult thank you very much

We went in as my daughter had to have a Covid test before returning to school after an absence. They were so friendly on the phone, texted me the link to fill in all the info and we were literally in and out of the office in 3 minutes.

This is my favorite place to go get covid test . I only have to register once and they have my info. Then I call and they take care of me same day . There is no wait time and they r fast and efficient and most importantly I receive my test usually within 12 hours . I give them a plus for excellent service and the staff is very friendly and they don’t insert the swab in a way that hurts like other places .

Same say walk in COVID test on 8-10 @ 6:00 pm was lovely. Though the sign said no walk ins accepted, the receptionist welcomed me with a smile and warm mood as she took my information with the registration form. The two nurses who tested me were awesome. Kind, quick, and kept me felt cared for since they recommended me to check for strep throat with my symptoms after my friend recently also got strep throat. Great service and would recommend anyone to attend.

Los Angeles Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
