Checking myself in through my phone and having to take and submit pictures of my license and insurance was a bit tedious. The wait was long but I was understanding of that, as it was a busy day. And Dr. Morgan is superb, I've used this clinic for many years just because of her. She is worth the wait. I felt heard and she well attended to my needs. The nursing staff and front desk were also extremely nice. I would definitely recommend this location to others. But next visit I will try to plan better for a less busy day.

I did a walk-in, so the scheduling wasn’t an issue at all. The staff was friendly. They appeared to work very well together, and knew what they were doing. They were confident and competent and efficient in their duties. I appreciate the provider for reminding me that I needed to lose weight(ha ha ha), as if I didn’t know that already. Nevertheless, he’s right and I am and have been working on it. Otherwise everyone was nice friendly seem to work as a team show that they were confident and competent in what they were doing. I am not a person who does many reviews, but sometimes you have to. This is the best Urgent Care & Primary Care in Birmingham. The staff is awesome, very friendly (They actually remember you, not just a name or Number)! The doctor and nurse work extremely well together & make your health a priority, ordering correct tests or medications & shots (Nurse is so good I never feel the stick like most). The doctor's bedside manner is defiantly better than most any doctor, at least in my experience. This has been my PCP for years, because you will not find another, as good & knowledgeable about most anything medical or not & actually cares! Thank you Southern Immediate Care for always making me feel like I am the only patient no matter how many are really there. Also I don't think I have ever waited more than 10-15 minutes tops, to be checked in & taken back.

On yesterday, 9/20, I visited this urgent care clinic after not being able to be seen by my PCP. I googled and found this wonderful urgent care and was delighted that it was really close in my neighborhood. Upon entering the clinic, I was greeted by one of the sweetest front office staff I have ever met. Her name was Patti and she deserves all the accolades that she gets. She quickly took care of getting my insurance and getting me signed in and explained the process thoroughly. Throughout the whole entire visit she was extremely nice and even at the end of my visit she said “I hope that you feel better” as I was walking out. The nurses that took my vital signs as well as my samples that needed to be tested were thorough and explained the process as they were doing it. They were also kind. The nurse practitioner that saw me was efficient as well as kind. The facility is very clean and modern. I really like the fact that they use a lot of electronic services which allows you to have your test results and prescriptions on your phone and decreases the amount of paperwork that you carry around. Overall I had a great experience and I am very familiar with the healthcare field as I myself am a nurse practitioner so for me to say that I’m pleased means a lot. This place can also serve as your primary care office, which I am strongly considering changing over from my PCP to this place. If I ever had to go to urgent care again or bring my children I will immediately come here. If you live in the Chelsea area, this is the place to go if you need urgent care services.
