Everyone was amazing. The doctor didn't listen to the fact that I couldn't take the antibiotic. It was making me so sick the staff there is wonderful.

Very easy to schedule appt for a same day. Was surprised by the fact that they are paperless and in order to view anything you have to download their app. It’s been 2 days and still no results, as for the medication you have to go on the appt and send it your self to the pharmacy otherwise you will not get it. Overall it was a good visit but it could have improved on some things for sure.

Easy in and easy out. I just wish there was more seats to sit on. People tend to bring a plus one and I wasn’t able to sit so I stood outside in the rain until I saw a seat open.

Showed up at the Ruston urgent care location for a walk in, learned about the crazy wait time but also the app, so I installed Solv and found that the Tacoma urgent care location has appointments available to schedule that day, where Ruston only had tomorrow. So I scheduled one just 30 minutes away, rushed to the office and the app knew I was there so I checked in, talked to the receptionist, she already had my insurance and stuff from the app scanning my card👍 so she photoed my ID and told me I'd have a 45 minute wait. I was excited for this. I left and used the wait list on the app to track my position in line, and showed up, was seen pretty much right away, dental assistant was kind, put in all the info, doctor came in right away, got the antibiotics I needed immediately. Pharmacy had my prescription ready soon as I got there, within 10 minutes probably. The whole experience was pretty amazing and even though it was sudden and I was in pain, had to learn about the app and whatnot, it was so easy. Very impressed.

Everything was ok except I was rusher by Medical assistant to leave. I ask about results of my test and she said she will call( she never did). Also Dr told me ( I remember exactly) that she will give me excuse for work for Monday but nothing happen and later when I read notes showing not excuse from work needed. I like this place but this time I was rushed to leave room. Thank you

The staff at this location could not have been more helpful or friendly.  From the check-in, to the Medical Assistant Naya (sp?), to the Nurse Practitioner Katherine I saw.  Once I was in my room, they were efficient, knowledgeable.  I left knowing exactly what my plan of care was.  Highly recommend.

Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care is my favorite urgent care to go to. Convenient online scheduling, easy check-in process, fast wait times, concerns are addressed appropriately, friendly staff, and you're out in about an hour from start to finish. The only area that could be improved is if you have questions after your appointment, it's hard to get a hold of anyone, and then you don't get a call back. I highly recommend Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care

The front desk staff and nurse were super friendly and nice. The xray machine wasn't working at this facility, which they really should let the patient know before they make an appointment.. I was seen by a nurse practitioner, Kamaal I believe.  She seemed nice, however, she didn't seem too concerned and asked minimum questions. I don't feel like my concern was  fully addressed/resolved.  I should have just gone to my primary care instead of paying $100 copay only to be told, "just keep up with warm fluids and come back again if it gets worst", because it's just that easy to come back and pay another $100 copay again. I drove about 18 miles to get seen at this location because appointments at the clinic near me get booked super fast.. I mentioned that to the provider that I don't want to drive this far again just one day later..and I was told "try making an appointment a day before near you then" (because clearly, I didn't try that and chose to drive that far in snowy weather). Last time I was sick with this horrendous cough and phlegm, a provider at different location told me exactly the same that it's just a viral, only for me to end up at my primary care the next day who diagnosed me with pneumonia! I see a similar review here from another patient ending up with pneumonia because your provider here, misdiagnosed her.. I sure hope the nurse practitioner didn't miss anything.. I couldn't ask for x-ray anyway, since it wasn't working at this location. I did mention to her that last time with exact same thing, I was prescribed antibiotics and she brushed it off saying "it's just a viral".. Not sure how she decided on that when she didn't even do an xray.  I was not all satisfied with my treatment by this provider at this location. Multicare Indigo, you need to fix your mistakes and train your providers, instead of copy pasting the same response to all the low rating reviews. Looking at the reviews here, no wonder this location always has multiple appointments available as compare to other locations.

South Prairie COVID Antibody Testing

When is antibody testing done, and why is it important?

An antibody test, also known as a serology test, can detect antibodies in your blood. Your body develops antibodies in response to infections like COVID-19 or after receiving vaccinations.

ACCORDING TO THE FDA, the COVID-19 antibody test is formally known as the SARS-CoV-2 antibody test. SARS-CoV-2 is the virus that causes COVID-19. This antibody test can tell whether you have SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in your blood. If you do, you have either been infected with COVID-19 or have recovered from it, adds the FDA.

COVID-19 Antibody Test FAQs

  • How can I get the COVID-19 antibody test?

The COVID-19 antibody test is available at urgent care centers, walk-in clinics, pharmacies, lab test providers, and hospitals, says the CDC. Contact your healthcare provider directly to find out if it offers the COVID antibody test, or use Solv to find a testing provider in your area. Solv also allows you to make a same- or next-day appointment.

  • How do COVID-19 antibody tests differ from diagnostic tests?

COVID-19 antibody tests can tell you if you have had a previous COVID-19 infection, says the FDA. In comparison, a diagnostic COVID test can tell you if you are currently infected by COVID-19. If your goal is to find out whether you currently have COVID-19, ask your healthcare provider about your options for diagnostic tests, or use Solv to find a nearby COVID-19 testing provider.

  • What should I expect when I take the antibody test?

According to New York City Health, the COVID-19 antibody test requires giving a blood sample. During the test, your healthcare provider will take a sample of your blood with a quick finger prick or by drawing blood from a vein in your arm. The NIH adds that this test usually only takes about five minutes. Your healthcare provider will contact you to discuss your results after they return.

  • Are there any limitations to COVID-19 antibody tests?

According to the FDA, the COVID antibody test could produce a false negative, which occurs when the test fails to detect antibodies for SARS-CoV-2 even though you have them. It adds that your test result may also come back negative if you received the COVID-19 vaccine, but your body produced different antibody types in response to the vaccine. Your doctor can discuss other limitations of COVID antibody tests with you in more detail during your appointment.

  • Can I use a semi-quantitative COVID-19 antibody test to determine my level of immunity?

No, a semi-quantitative COVID-19 antibody test cannot determine your level of immunity to COVID-19, even if you have been vaccinated for this disease, reports the FDA. It adds that even though a positive antibody test can indicate that an immune response has occurred, more research is needed.

  • Can I use a semi-quantitative COVID-19 antibody test to track my antibody levels over time?

No, the semi-quantitative COVID-19 antibody test cannot track your antibody levels over time, says the FDA. This test cannot evaluate your level of immunity or protection from COVID-19, even if you have received a vaccination against COVID-19. The FDA adds that if antibody test results are interpreted incorrectly, people may take fewer precautions against this disease.

  • How much does a COVID antibody test cost in South Prairie?

The cost of the COVID antibody test depends on factors such as rates set by the provider and whether your health insurance covers some or all testing costs. According to the University of Rochester, many health insurers are not covering the cost of the COVID antibody test unless it is considered medically appropriate for diagnosis and treatment purposes. Check with your healthcare provider to confirm the cost of the COVID antibody test.

  • Should I get tested?

According to the CDC, the COVID antibody test may be ideal for you if you want to know if you have previously been exposed to COVID-19, or if you want to know if you have antibodies if you already had this disease. The COVID antibody test cannot tell you if you currently have COVID-19.

  • Where can I get a COVID antibody test in South Prairie?

The COVID antibody test is available from many pharmacies, labs, and healthcare providers. To find a testing provider, use Solv’s directory to find the highest-rated COVID antibody testing providers in your area.
