Cory was amazing. My only major concern was that I identified that my daughter had a medication allergy and the APRN who saw us prescribed the one she was allergic to (which I picked up at the pharmacy and paid for) and I had to call back and get a different one. If they document allergies, that should not be ignored when prescribing.

I liked the manner of Dr. T (?). In a short time I received such useful information and care.

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

All went well, however the individual administering the test was very short, and seemed to be somewhat annoyed. I was trying to ask her a question, she didn’t seem to be interested rather wanted to get done with me and onto the next person. Which is fine, but as someone who is being tested for the first tome, first time being exposed I am very nervous and unclear on quarantine do’s & dont’s. My husband on the other hand had a completely different experience which was very good!!

Wow! I had written you off after a really bad experience but today u won me back! Covid rapid test a breeze- super friendly and efficient provider- thank you!!

- Verified patient on 2/15

Had a Covid Rapid Test as I’d just returned from air travel to/from SC via Baltimore. No symptoms, just wanted reassurance I was negative for Covid. Booked online and was In and out in 20 minutes.

I took my daughter in for Covid test. Check in was fast, easy, friendly. Staff/PA were knowledgeable, concise, explained everything. Always a great experience here.

I needed a COVID test due to exposure and Priority had a number of appointments available that same afternoon. I completed my paperwork online and upon check in was quickly taken in for my test. Staff was very cordial and expedient

I only came for a rapid Covid Test. You have a great setup there for testing! I was in and out in no time. Technician was very pleasant and I had my results very quickly. I really appreciated how efficient and easy your process was! Thank you!

I had a Covid test done. The staff was very friendly and efficient administering the test. I would definitely go back if I needed medical treatment.

- Verified patient on 1/10

The wait time to be seen for Covid testing should be better explained to just drive up at your appt time. The waiting time site they send you to is very misleading.

- Verified patient on 1/8

I just had a covid test so I didn't see the facility, but the whole process of getting an appointment and getting the test done was incredibly easy.

- Verified patient on 2/27

All staff was so kind and my covid test results came back very quickly. Short wait time and doctor came in right way. Would recommend this place to everyone

- Verified patient on 8/28

Went for Covid testing, directions said wait by back door, not clearly marked. Texted by staff in capital letters to come in front door. I had no idea.... never been before. Heard from a friend it was positive. Once inside, very efficient staff.

- Verified patient on 3/13

I came in about 45 minutes before closing for a Covid test and had never been there before and everyone was very pleasant, not put out that I was coming at the end of what I am sure was a busy day. The wait time was minimal even though I didn’t have an appointment and they took the time to explain my test options.

- Verified patient on 11/13

The only downside was that I made an appointment here, out of my way, specifically for a fast COVID PCR test. I made an appointment 4 days ahead of time but when we arrived the supplies weren't available. If I had known I could have made another appointment.

Went for a Covid test, was asked a few simple questions, checked my breathing and then offered both tests. I was rather impressed by that and accepted both tests. After a few swabs from both nostrils, I was on my way out. Very efficient!!

Covid test was quick and easy. The wait time was next to nothing and was In and out in 5 minutes with very polite staff.

I had a COVID test done in the back of the building, it was quick and very professional. The nurse was friendly and compassionate, it was a pleasant visit. (Considering the circumstances).

- Verified patient on 1/6

Excellent experience for COVID testing. Made the appointment online. Provider called me prior to my appointment so I was able to pull up, get tested, and drive out in a matter of minutes.

- Verified patient on 1/27

Went there for a PCR test. The nurse came right out and the swab took about five seconds, and I was out of there. Great experience.

I went here for a covid test. They had it set up great. You text them when you get there. Then you drive around to a tent when it is your time. They ask you some questions and do they test. They give you a card to look up your results in a few days. So I never went inside the building.

Super fast in and out, and results come very quickly for COVID-19 PCR tests. All paperwork and booking is done online which is super convenient. I got a test at the airport and they were less organized, a lot busier, and took much longer to get results back. Thank you Ellington urgent care for being amazing!!!

Ellington Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
