Woke up with sore throat from coughing all night. Was accepted as a walk in and able to see the doctor after a considerable amount of time. But the doctor sent my subscriptions to my pharmacy and was able to get a restful sleep that night. Yes, would recommend this provider.

I was called back and put in an exam room but then I sat in there for more than hour. Doctor was in and out of the room in 2 minutes. She was efficient but didn’t provide much in the way of care instructions. Ancillary staff were friendly and polite.

Despite being in clinic for a very long time, I received excellent care. My vitals were taken by an extremely kind nurse. I gave four stars, but I will give five stars to the sweet receptionist who took my information and handled everything for me. You don't find many people who will help with no issue at all anymore. She is a lovely person all around and extremely well mannered. Great team all together but those two ladies stood out for me!

Don’t like you need to schedule liked when you could just walk in.  Don’t like have to use phone to check in when they already have your information.  However the staff is very friendly   The poor nurse practitioner was very over worked today I felt sorry for her. So many sick people.  All workers were very professional.   Excellent care.

About Ferritin Testing

Ferritin Testing is a diagnostic test that measures the level of ferritin, a protein that stores iron, in the blood. Ferritin levels reflect the body's iron stores and play a crucial role in assessing iron deficiency and iron overload conditions.

Who Should Get Tested

Residents of Meridianville, Alabama, with suspected iron disorders, such as iron deficiency anemia or hemochromatosis, may benefit from Ferritin Testing. Additionally, individuals with symptoms like fatigue, weakness, and unexplained joint pain may require testing.

Test Methods for Ferritin

Ferritin Testing is performed using a blood sample. It is often part of a panel that includes other iron tests, such as serum iron, transferrin, and total iron-binding capacity (TIBC).

Interpreting the Results

The interpretation of Ferritin Testing results involves analyzing the level of ferritin in the blood. Abnormalities in ferritin levels, along with other iron test results, can indicate iron deficiency or iron overload.

Importance of Ferritin Testing

Ferritin Testing is important for:

  • Assessing iron stores in the body
  • Diagnosing iron deficiency anemia and iron overload conditions
  • Monitoring the response to iron supplementation or treatment

Following the Test

After Ferritin Testing, healthcare providers discuss the results with individuals and recommend appropriate interventions based on the test findings. Treatment options may include iron supplementation, dietary changes, and further evaluation for underlying conditions affecting iron status.
