Friendly Staff

Have been dealing with issues regarding an infected navel piercing and pushing back a doctors visit because I am always afraid of needing to go. Immediately greeted by such friendly and caring check-in staff. I have no insurance so they were able to help negotiate a price that worked for me. The nurse and doctor who saw me were so friendly and understanding of my fears and situation. They listened to everything I told them and offered me many solutions to my problems, even still understanding my lack of insurance and showing me where to find the cheapest options for prescriptions. All the staff made me feel cared for, as if they were friends of mine I’ve known for a long time. I was in and out in about an hour and am looking forward to my second visit. I would recommend this provider to everyone I know, especially anyone who is normally afraid of being in hospital settings or doctors.

The receptionist and PA that was there today (2/20/2019)were great and amazing! My only complaint was that the nurse on staff today was not so warm and welcoming let alone have 1 smile on her face . Other than her I was very happy with our visit today .

Short Wait Time

Was suffering from severe low back pain.  Was able to schedule an appointment online right away.  Arrived to an empty waiting room and after filling out the paperwork was put right into an exam room.  Waited less than 10 minutes total.  Treatment was explained fully.  All in all a very quick and effective appointment and I’m feeling considerably better less than 24 hours later.

My 6 year old son ended up having Scarlett Fever.  We took him to his pediatrician in the morning and they did NOTHING. We were fortunate enough to get my 6 year old son and 10 year old daughter in.  The entire staff was INCREDIBLE! From the receptionist to the nurses to Dr. Anthony.  They ran strep tests, took his temperature, and gave him a couple of antibiotics.  My kids thought they were really nice!  Great staff, very professional, awesome bedside manner and the office was clean!   We are veru grateful and highly recommend!

I came here and was greeted immediately by the fine staff at front desk. Within minutes I had a room and my vitals were taken. The medical assistant Karina was very kind and gentle when drawing my blood. She also helped me schedule a follow up and was patient with me as I took my time to think. Overall this clinic was very clean and I would highly recommend that anyone come here for a quick and pleasant visit.

I am so happy I went. I got to know quickly if I had Covid-19, so I could be around people and a dr. appointment tomorrow afternoon. I was impressed to get a dr. that went beyond getting the test results. I was also please that she gave me a print up of natural mixtures I could help alleviate my viral symptoms. I would definitely go there again.

Registration was easy. We did the drive up for testing. The staff member who provided the service was professional, polite, personable and just nice. She made my son feel comfortable and was just friendly. I would not hesitate to go back. Thank you for being out there and providing care.

Extremely nice people. I accidentally signed up for the wrong test and they worked with me so I could get the right one done. Highly recommended

My experience couldn’t have been smoother! The woman who did my rapid test was kind and very caring.

My early elementary-aged son and I had cold symptoms on a weekend morning. I booked online for later that morning. Both of us were in and out of here in under ten minutes. The guy was very nice and helped my son feel at ease. We swabbed ourselves for five seconds each nostril with our first sticks, and then repeated the process with a second stick. One was the rapid antigen test and the other the PCR test. Much easier and less painful than the other tests I had. It kind of looked like a place in strip mall you'd find in the Simpsons, but it did the job. :D My son was intrigued by a ceiling tile that looked like it was going to fall out, but it was over their cubicles, not over us, so I guess it doesn't matter. The place was very clean regardless of the tile or Simpson-esque layout. Halfway on the 15-minute drive home, my phone email notification dinged to tell me my rapid results were in. We were both negative. I'll definitely head out there again if I need another test. Beats getting my brain poked with a swab any day. Highly recommend.

The website was difficult to use and the directions to find the testing site were inadequate. It was too expensive

The staff was amazing, the service was exceptional, and the customer service was immaculate. Very accommodating to geriagtracs such as myself who are not so tech savvy. The testing technician went out of his way to assist me through the process and they were very time efficient. Highly recommended for anyone looking for extraordinary service.

My husband and I booked online. We did the drive up at the mall and there was no wait time. The staff was very nice and came to our car within minutes. They told us the cost of test ahead of time. Our test results were emailed to us within one hour.

My daughter and I appreciate the tech. The lady that assisted us with our test was absolutely wonderful! She was professional, kind and patience. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The staff was very polite! I was never sure if I had been exposed to the virus, I ordered a Rapid Antibody Test which determine that I was positive and I was asymptomatic to the Corona virus. This was a simple test, it is just a finger stick not a blood draw

Excellent service, quick, and the tech was extremely friendly and helpful with my kids first test.

I scheduled an appointment for a rapid Covid test due to an exposure on Tuesday. I thought I was signing up for a drive in test but was instead routed to the Emergency Clinic. I was charged $20 for a co-pay which made me mad since the website stated it was free. I was then put in a room and a full blown office visit was performed and probably charged to my insurance. I told the nurse and the nurse practitioner that my exposure was limited, that I had no symptoms and I wanted a rapid test so I could go back to watching my grandson. The nurse practitioner said they performed the test that would take AT LEAST 2 days for a result. I expressed my displeasure and asked for a rapid test which I asked for all along. The nurse practitioner finally agreed but expressed her dissatisfaction as she walked out the door. When the very kind nurse returned I again apologized and reiterated that I was signed up for just a drive through rapid test. After assuring me the test results would be about 15 minutes, I was called with my negative result an hour later.

Lezann was the nurse who came to administer the test for my daughter. My daughter was scared but was put to ease immediately by Lezann. She was absolutely amazing!

Lizanne was incredibly helpful from our first phone contact helping my daughter navigate her required COVID-19 test pre-flight to London. The test itself was a breeze, with rapid results fully printed out for customs and immigration officials. I can't speak highly enough of our treatment: professional, friendly and reassuring. Many thanks!

I wish I went to Rocket before Walgreens and IDPH. It was quick and we got it done and continued on with our day. No long forms, no long lines, no websites to register on, no apps to download, no confused employees (who approached us with swabs, shoving them in our faces, before even saying hello, without even asking who in the car was getting tested! AND then said they never heard of rapid tests!), NO bait and switch (neither offered the rapid test although when we arrived at IDPH the first person encountered said they did, and I called Walgreens they said they did too - they did not). Am I supposed to trust them to run this test correctly? Really? Who has time to waste like this? Not us! We have a life to live and things to do! At Rocket, we got a rapid test, quick results, paid and said goodbye to the nice lady who helped us. She pleasantly answered our questions without us even asking and was very EFFICIENT. That’s exactly what we wanted, thank you nice lady (I’m sorry I forgot your name in Schaumburg IL) and thank you Rocket.

Northbrook Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
