They didn't ask when I first had symptoms and that would have determined the outcome of a covid test. They could have suggested I wait at least another day before returning there. As a result, I tested negative at AFC and positive two days later. As a result, my $55 copay was wasted.

I cut my leg badly a couple of days ago and needed help asap! I immediately thought of the closest Urgent Care on Valley Forge Rd. and Sumneytown Pike in Lansdale. I was a walk-in and there were a couple of sick children ahead of me so they immediately got me to a private room where I wouldn't be exposed to germs and cleaned my leg while I waited for the on-duty physician's assistant, Catherine Moran. She was attending to those ahead of me but came in to evaluate my injury and informed me that the wound would require stitches. When she finished with the others, she attended to me and did an outstanding job! Not only was the stitching painless but the quality of her handiwork was fabulous! She was calm and reassuring as were the nurse who performed the preliminary duties (blood pressure, information gathering, etc.) and staff. I was impressed with the competence of everyone involved and would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need! Thank you to all of the staff who helped me!

They got me in to see someone today and the care was thorough and good. The appointment wait time was a bit longer than expected but they spent a good amount of time with me focusing on my care so overall it was a good experience.

My visit at urgent care in Narberth was good. The doctor took time with me and explained everything to me. The young medical tech was excellent! He was efficient and friendly. This is my second time visiting the clinic and I would return.

Woke up this morning with full body aches; was an hour late for work because of the pain and decided to go to City Life Health where they did a thorough checkup. I was able to get a prescription for the pain and nausea along with a Dr's note for my job.

Made an appointment and went there to find out you were closed.  If you were closed, I shouldn’t have been able to make an appointment online  it was even confirmed  Very upsetting

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

After receiving my results, I called Quest Lab Testing and discussed the results with a consultation. This consultation filled in my knowledge gaps and made me more aware of my particular situation.

I was very surprised with my experience here. My appointment was made very quickly. I was seen in a very short period of time. My test results came back in a very timely manner. I was able to speak with a doctor soon after and was taking care of. I was very satisfied with the experience I had here. A great experience for something I had a lot of anxiety about. Had no wait time or issues at the testing center/lab. Had blood drawn at 3pm and had results by email at 9am the next morning.

I have come here a few times for PCR tests and I am always amazed that there is NO wait time! I park and someone comes right out! Everyone has always been very friendly! Thank you so much for making this a quick and pleasant experience!

My daughter and I went to Pottstown to get a Covid test. When we arrived we called the phone number shown and within minutes a woman came out to us. She confirmed our birthdates and we were then able to do our swab test very quickly. The staff member was very helpful and answered all our questions regarding the test. She was friendly and knowledgeable.

This is without a doubt,….Exceptionally easy! Make the appointment. Drive in. Call the number on the board. The staff come outside … administer the test. … hand you your instructions and you are on your way in 5 minutes. The results come in 2 days on your email. Great system ! No one sees you… you can go in your pajamas!!

- Verified patient on 8/25

Staff was very helpful in making sure I understood instructions since I am hard of hearing and masks make it difficult for me to fully understand instructions, they safely distanced and had their mask down so i could fully understand what I was required to do for the covid test

The women working were pleasant and efficient. There was a bit of a line when I arrived, but they kept it moving at a good pace and I was in and out in about 10 minutes or less. Overall, a good experience for having to get tested.

I scheduled on line. Very easy. Friendly Staff met me at the door. I tested myself in the parking lot. The medical team was matter of fact. Not real warm toward me but I understood since it’s so much about Covid. They were very efficient which was Awesome!

I found myself online behind a family of five and a time when I really needed to be in an out for personal reasons. The staff took me aside and gave me my test. They were awesome! I was skeptical at first, but I’m convinced now. I would recommend them to anyone, and will! Thanks!

Super simple process. I made my appointment on-line the day before. I used GPS to find the place in Pottstown. There were 3 people in line in front of me. One was taking the test, one was waiting and one was checking in. From the time I got there, till the time I left was maybe 5 minutes. It was outside, everyone had masks and everyone stayed distant. The swab was uncomfortable, but not painful, and only took 30 seconds or so. The people working were very friendly and explained everything.

Organized efficient and in and out in 15 minutes. A family member of mine arrived at patient first 2hrs Ago and just saw a doctor and got test and was told 5 to 7 days- for results. proud of Montgomery County raising to serve its community well during the awful situation we are in. Kudos.

So easy! I'm not a techy person but the app downloaded ssll by itself and was easy to follow. I was able to schedule my test quickly. The day of my test, I parked my car, called the number and was taken care of in a matter of 5 minutes or less. The staff was extra safe staying a good distance 6ft. away from me while administered the test. They gave me the directions that I needed and answered my questions that I had. They said my results would be back in 2-3 days and I received them in 2 days. Which was important, to determine if I had to continue to quarantine with my family or not. I will be passing information about the MC Public Health services in Pottstown on to my friends and family. Thank You for being there for Me and taking care of me during these uncertain times.

I brought my 1 and 3 year old to be tested for covid and the staff was very helpful and even offered to stand with my 1 year old while I swabbed my 3 year old. It went much better than expected!

- Verified patient on 1/30

Staff was knowledgeable, friendly there was a family that was having their young children tested, which of course was traumatic for the kids. The staff not only assisted that family, but went “out of the box” to assist everyone in line and keep the line moving. Staff was great!

Efficient office! Great directions by the public health nurse on how to perform COVID nasal swab test- results turnaround time has been excellent as well! Important to have these tests available, easy to access and to register which Montco sites have been great! Thank you! Check in process was easy on Montco web site (easy to find and complete the forms) No wait time at all.

I'm always able to get a convenient appointment at this location without waiting for several days. The people that work there are so polite and go out of their way to be helpful, especially when testing kids. They made our visit so much more pleasurable.

Brought my daughter for a COVID-19 test. The nurse that came out was great. Even though I had to physically force my daughter to take the test. The nurse was very re assuring that it was normal for my daughter to act like that. Thank you again. The wait time was 0 minutes. I pulled up, called the number, and within a few seconds the nurse came out to my car.

Absolute best place to go for covid testing. Free is a big perk but on top of that it is super fast and they have the fastest turn around time. CVS and Walgreens are a joke compared to the pottstown Montgomery county testing site. Easy same day testing no need to book 48-72 hours in advance and the longest we have ever waited is 20 minutes and that was with a long line right after the holidays. Other places we know we will have to wait at least 45 minutes and it will take at least 5-10 minutes just for paperwork. Whoever is running and organizing this site way to go! You are awesome!

This location shifted the process and how you acquire a covid test. I preferred the old way where you park and walk up to the window. Today was rather inconvenient, having to pull into a very tight parking space and call a number to say that I am there. The first number was not in service, but I reached somebody at the second one. The assistant who was on location was very friendly and helpful.

I needed to get my 4 children tested as they recently were out of the country. The Montgomery County test site in Pottstown took everyone right away, with no wait, and we were done in just a few minutes. The staff was kind and professional and we are really grateful!

My family- self, husband, and two children under age 5- needed a Covid test. We were easily able to schedule on the phone after the staff answered some questions I had regarding procedures for the children. We arrived early and were attended to early. The staff was especially kind with the children. I would highly recommend this site, and I am so grateful for everyone’s care and expertise.

This was hands down the best, efficient care my son has received!!!! The woman who came out to us was nice and friendly. The wait wasn’t even 2 minutes. Check in was easy, I did it online. I didn’t see a provider. No cost for Covid test. Yes I would recommend this clinic!!!

Pottstown Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
