My first time at Guidewell today made a lasting impression on me. From my phone conversation with receptionist, the ease at scheduling appt, the quick response time for that appt, I was already impressed. Wait time at the office was minimal; Katherine (ARNP) was so caring, gentle and kind. She listened to everything I told her, and made the decision for me to have X-RAYS taken. After having this procedure done, Katherine came back into the room and made some great recommendations for me to follow through with. I only wish I could make Guidewell my Primary Healthcare Provider! Marsha

My husband had been in a few days earlier tested negative for Flu, Covid, and RSV but chest x-ray showed a little pneumonia. I started coughing Thursday night so I went straight in on Friday hoping to head it off at the pass but the doctor ran no test, said she didn’t hear wheezing even though I was and every the xray tech heard it. She gave me some cough pills and sent me on my way. I have continued to deteriorate now having sore throat and on and off spiking a low fever. Not impressed with the care I received. The PA my husband had was far more attentive. Update: The head doctor called me personally because he found this unacceptable and had me go back in for testing. I tested positive for Influenza A so I really appreciated his due diligence to get me answers so I have adjusted my overall score to reflect his efforts. Thank you Dr. Shital-Hiten Upadhyay.

I did’nt have to wait for my turn at all.it was wonderful to be in an er where they had all kinds of testing facilities available. Everyone took the time to instruct me and aducate me about my prognostic. I left with excellent referrals. It was a wonderful experience to have if you happen to be sick.

You may use my review if it is anonymous. You may use my first name only. I have been to Guide Well emergency care twice. Both times the physician I met with was Dr. Mark. He ordered the necessary test diagnosed my conditions both times accurately. I was so impressed with his care for me on my first trip, that when my physician suggested going to the hospital for tests for my second condition I refused and went to guide well instead. Actually my physician asked me to go to the emergency room and when I said no they said then go to guide well. I was very happy to do so based on the great quality of care on my first visit. The tests were done both times quickly and painlessly. My veins are very difficult to find for IVs, but the technician was able to find it with no problems and no pain and no bruising. I wish that I could go to guide well for regular care and not just emergency care. That’s how much I trust them. The entire staff is very friendly and made me feel that they were extremely knowledgeable and cared about me. I highly recommend Guide Well.

GuideWell is a new urgent care facility in the area, but make no mistake they are on a different level than any other urgent care I’ve been to before. They far exceeded my expectations. From the cleanliness of the facility to the check in process, to the large board on the lobby with a list of prices for different services ( which they provide an extensive list of services and testing) to the wait time to receive medical care it was just easy and not frustrating. The entire staff is very professional and friendly. Everyone introduced themselves by their name and the nurses and PCCs that took care of me were simply awesome. Everything was explained in detail and they checked on me regularly. Their bedside manner is such a welcome change from many places these days. Dr. Tulsiak was very patient, caring and compassionate. Thank you to all that helped in my care from the girls at the front desk to the Radiologist to Stephanie, Charla, Wayne, and Josh. If I have a need to receive medical care in the future I will definitely come back to GuideWell vs a busy hospital ER.

My husband tested positive for Covid and it was a rush to get down there with all three of my children and myself to get tested last minute. My family has a funeral the following day and I was absolutely scared. I Donely were they sensitive to my situation but, they worked me in last minute even when they were ready to close. These women have been on their feet all day long and have families to get home to yet they stay to tend to mine. They were sweet, kind, quick and efficient! I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided! The medical care they give is definitely above and beyond!

Friendly from start to finish. The wait time for the simple COVID test was an hour. We expected the test to be covered by Medicare but we’re surprised to learn it was a $100 out of pocket expense.

The young man that did my test was excellent. I don't remember his name

Great experience. Very professional staff. You can get all the tests needed in house: CT, blood work, etc. Clean and brand new facility. Extremely well equipped. Exceptional bedside manners. I strongly recommend this Guidewell Emergency Care facility. The experience is like being seen in a Hospital Emergency Room setting, but without the wait and it is very affordable.

Very easy and fast. Got results in about 30 minutes for the rapid test.

I went to get a rapid PCR test for travel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Facility was clean and I was taken at my appointment time.

I was very thankful for this Urgent Care. Minimal wait time, friendly, helpful staff. The facility is conveniently located and clean. I got my Covid test and the next day the monoclonal antibody infusion. Both visits were excellent!

Unlike other same-day test results facilities I did not feel rushed, I did not feel like I was being exposed to germs from clipboards and other people. I greatly appreciated the opportunity to do as much as possible concerning registration out in the car. It was nice to come in pay and then go right to a private waiting room. So I didn’t have to sit out in the waiting room and worry about exposure. I greatly appreciate the doctor coming in to talk with me and deliver my test results. Most importantly I’d like to thank her for simply caring enough to really listen to me. I could tell she heard me. I think her advice was very helpful and I will follow up on her recommendation. The friendlier the receptionists are the better because that is the first point of contact. I felt awkward because I didn’t know how the registration and testing process would work. After completing the info on my phone, I called to ask what would happen next. The second receptionist was very friendly and seemed to want to put me at ease which was much appreciated. Let’s face it, I’m not a doctor, I may be a lawyer, but it’s most reassuring to know you’re in the hands of people who know what they’re doing and also do it well. Thank you for making me feel important and like my visit to your facility was important to you.

I recently relocated from CT. Staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent services, I was impressed that they had all the equipment to complete all necessary tests in the premises without being sent to a hospital.

I am from out of town and not feeling well was afraid I might have Covid. they were very nice very quick gave me a test for Covid and for influenza A and B fortunately I was negative. Because I had a cough they gave me an x-ray and diagnosed me right away they gave me some steroids right in the office and did nebulizer treatments. they really made sure to To address all my symptoms, which by the time I left I was feeling so much better. This was a wonderful place and great people. Thank you so much it was a great experience for being so far from home. I have insurance and they did this all with my co-pay

We went there to get COVID tested, and while we were waiting for the results the doctor came in and said “I know you’re just here for a COVID test, but did you have any other questions or concerns? Any other symptoms that I can help ease your mind about?” - My husband said, if they send me a survey to make sure I do it and give 5 stars. And he never says that.

What a great experience! I had scheduled a covid test for my daughter at Walgreens and when we arrived they said their site was down and couldn’t do any testing until the following day. I was panicking trying to find somewhere that could test her for covid since she was sent home from school with symptoms. It was after 5pm and after searching and calling different places I called medfast in Titusville… there was an actual person who pleasantly answered the phone… not an automated *press 1 for…* voice. She welcomed us to come in for my daughters testing. The sign in was quick and easy… we waited in the car and completed the text registration which was super easy and convenient! Our wait time was less than 20 minutes and we went straight into a room. The nurse (Nieves) was so kind and comforting to my daughter. She administered the test so carefully that my daughter barely flinched. We were finished with everything in less than an hour total! I appreciate the staff being so kind and efficient. Thank you for being available and taking such great care of my child!

Tampa Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.
