The MA was a little cocky, very in your face and not welcoming. The NP Was ok , saw her for only 3 minutes and she sent me to the ER; my case was too complex for the office.  The office was extremely out dated and was in off a lot of repairs. Don’t think I would recommend this to anyone. Appearance and first impressions were not up to standard.

The NP was extremely compassionate, thorough and understanding and didn’t once hesitate to make sure she answered any questions I might have had.

As in the past, I was able to get my very sore throat tested for strep along with COVID, flu, and x-ray for pneumonia. I received good medications that I feel are working already. The attending physician is efficient, yet very kind and personable. The extra long wait time ( 3 hrs) had to do with waiting for the x-ray readings to return. Overall I recommend this urgent care for everyone.

About Folate Testing

Folate Testing, also known as folic acid or vitamin B9 testing, is a diagnostic test that measures the level of folate in the blood. Folate is an essential B-vitamin that plays a crucial role in cell division, DNA synthesis, and red blood cell production. Testing for folate levels helps identify deficiencies that can lead to various health issues.

Who Should Get Tested

Test Methods for Folate

Folate Testing is typically performed using a blood sample. The most common test is the serum folate test, which measures the level of folate in the blood. Another method is the red blood cell folate test, which assesses the folate levels inside red blood cells.

Interpreting the Results

  • Assessing potential causes of anemia and other health issues
  • Guiding appropriate treatment, including folate supplementation

Following the Test
