Although I had an appointment, I still had to wait a half hour before my turn. I had to explain why I was there to 3 people: the MA, the intern, then the provider. My symptoms included cough, congestion, headache, sore throat. When I came 3 months earlier with similar symptoms, I was prescribed one medication for cough and another for congestion. This time I was not given any prescriptions. I would not have wasted my time if I knew I would not be given a prescription to relieve my symptoms.

I went there for one thing which was taken care of but wasn’t happy when I was asked other things not pertaining to my visit. I mean he was professional and I felt somewhat comfortable; as far as I can be comfortable well less comfortable with that girl in there idk why I let her stay in there she made me feel less comfortable; then she tells me I’m over 40 thank you captain obvious like I didn’t know!? You will be there one day so don’t think you won’t. To wrap this up I would give this experience a semi comfortable experience. Maybe a 6 numerically sized in one category.

Cory was amazing. My only major concern was that I identified that my daughter had a medication allergy and the APRN who saw us prescribed the one she was allergic to (which I picked up at the pharmacy and paid for) and I had to call back and get a different one. If they document allergies, that should not be ignored when prescribing.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood, has had unprotected sex, shared needles, or has a mother with hepatitis should be tested. Additionally, individuals who have recently traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, or those who have been incarcerated should also consider getting tested. It's crucial for individuals who belong to these high-risk groups to get tested, as early detection can lead to better treatment outcomes.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is critical, as it can lead to severe liver damage if left untreated. Early detection can help prevent the spread of the disease and allow for timely treatment, reducing the risk of complications. Moreover, individuals who are aware of their hepatitis status can take steps to protect their partners and loved ones from contracting the disease.
