The team was courteous to me. The website to schedule is not valid. The receptionist didn't see my appointment that u set. Must use the actual website instead of a third party.

The front staff and medical assistant were very nice. They always have a short wait time which is a plus. However the physician I had was clearly in a rush and not really interested in listening to me concerns. She also called in my prescription under the wrong name and it took over an hour to sort it out at the pharmacy.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood, needles, or body fluids that could contain the virus should get tested for hepatitis. This includes healthcare workers, people who have had unprotected sex with someone who has hepatitis, people who have shared needles for drug use, and people who have lived with someone who has hepatitis. Additionally, people born between 1945 and 1965, commonly known as baby boomers, are five times more likely to have hepatitis C and should get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Hepatitis is a serious disease that can cause liver damage, cirrhosis, liver cancer, and even death. Early detection through testing is crucial for effective treatment and prevention of these complications. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not know they are infected, thus unknowingly spreading the virus to others. Getting tested allows individuals to take steps to protect their health and prevent transmission to others.
