Scheduling the appointment was easy online, checking in online was even easier. It was fast and done quickly. Once arriving, the staff was excellent. It was easy to check in at the front desk since everything was completed online. The care was quick. The nurses were great. The doctor was professional, to the point, and answered all questions without me having to ask them.

Lab testing
I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood or body fluids from an infected person should get tested for hepatitis. This includes people who have shared needles or other drug-injection equipment, people who have had unprotected sex with an infected person, and people who have lived with an infected person. Additionally, healthcare workers and others who may come into contact with blood or body fluids in their work should also be tested. It's also recommended for those who have traveled to or lived in areas with high rates of hepatitis, such as Bogalusa, LA.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it's often asymptomatic in its early stages, meaning people can have the virus and not know it. Early detection allows for prompt treatment, which can prevent serious health complications such as liver disease and liver cancer. Moreover, knowing your hepatitis status can help prevent the spread of the virus to others.
