Scheduling was pretty easy however the staff wasn’t welcoming. They talked to you like you were bothering them. So if you’re looking for a that you won’t find it here. Not even a smile in sight. The doctor was short and downplayed things. Wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

Took a spill and feared a broken bone in my hand. South Huron Urgent Care took great care of me. Waited about five minutes to be seen. Dr Cindy is great!! X-rayed, splinted and I'm ready to go, with follow up instructions that she went over with me.  She showed me the x-ray, and explained what was going on. They took time and care with me. Office staff is friendly and personable too. Highly recommend!!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, either through sexual contact, sharing needles, or from an infected mother to her newborn during childbirth, should get tested. This also includes individuals who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, those with HIV, and men who have sexual encounters with other men. Furthermore, healthcare and public safety workers exposed to blood on the job, and individuals with certain medical conditions requiring blood clotting factor concentrates should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of severe liver damage. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not have symptoms and can unknowingly spread the virus to others. Early detection can also help prevent the spread of the disease within the community.
