I started feeling like I had a UTI and it was getting late in the evening. Springfield Urgent Care was open until 9 p.m., so I went there for the first time.  The staff were very friendly and understanding and I was in and out in an hour.  I would recommend them for your urgent care needs.

This place is so close to my home! I booked online and even submitted insurance info. I got an appointment immediately, was seen promptly, tested - for covid, examined, prescribed meds and released within an hour's time. The NP was great. She took her time with me, and was very 'caring'. The MA was great, also. This will be my place to receive urgent care in the future.

Sarah and Sohail were excellent. Sarah took various tests to determine what was the best treatment for me. I had a cold with Strep throat. I was suffering tremendously with congestion, coughing, along with losing my voice. As soon as she began treatment I felt a world of difference along with the injection that Sohail gave me. Highly recommend this urgent care. Very clean, very friendly. There was no wait time at all, and I made the appointment along with paper work on time.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood or body fluids of an infected person should get tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have shared needles or other drug injection equipment, had unprotected sex, or received a blood transfusion before 1992. Additionally, those born to a hepatitis-infected mother, healthcare workers, and individuals traveling to countries with high rates of hepatitis are also advised to get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of severe liver damage. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until the disease has progressed, making testing the only reliable way to determine infection. Early diagnosis can also help prevent the spread of the disease to others.
