Urgent care

I would come back here again.  Scheduling was very easy, wait time was nil, care and testing was good and the environment is great. My only criticism is that neither the nurse who I first saw, or the provider introduced themselves.  Being in health care myself, an introduction is critical.  A simple "Hi my name is David, I'm a PA" would have been sufficient.

Went in for a sore throat and they told me it was too early to test for it + didn't have any kits in. Got there 15 minutes early, as suggested, and waited over 20 minutes while the lobby was completely empty.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Those who should consider getting tested for hepatitis include individuals who have been exposed to the virus through sharing needles, unprotected sex, or from an infected mother to her newborn during childbirth. According to the CDC, anyone born between 1945 and 1965 should get tested for Hepatitis C, as this age group is five times more likely to be infected.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it helps in early detection and treatment, which can prevent liver damage and transmission to others. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not have symptoms and do not know they are infected. If left untreated, hepatitis can lead to serious health issues like liver cancer.
