Alandria and Gracie are always friendly and they took great care of me, they always get the job done, very proficient in everything they do. I recommend everyone to come here but then again I don’t want everyone to be here because I want to gate-keep you guys so bad I should be the only patient, So selfish of me, I love Quick Doc, you guys are stuck with me for life. The whole staff is also friendly, To sum it all up I recommend this place, Thank you so much.

A great experience for something I had a lot of anxiety about. Had no wait time or issues at the testing center/lab. Had blood drawn at 3pm and had results by email at 9am the next morning.

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The young lady checking in patients on 9/8/21 was so sweet & helpful. Nurse practitioner Philip Olshinski was also extremely kind. Super nice and what you'd hope for with providers. The place is not fancy, but I was treated so nice. Thanks as I know you all are extra busy during these stressful times.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone can contract hepatitis, but certain groups are at higher risk. These include individuals who have been in close contact with someone infected with hepatitis, people who inject drugs, men who have sex with men, and individuals with multiple sexual partners. Additionally, healthcare workers and individuals traveling to countries with high rates of hepatitis are also at risk. If you fall into any of these categories, it is essential to get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to severe health complications if left untreated. Early detection can prevent the spread of the disease and allow for timely treatment, reducing the risk of liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. According to the CDC, many people with chronic hepatitis do not have symptoms and are unaware they are infected, making regular testing vital.

Community health centers in and around Clemmons may offer free or low-cost hepatitis testing. It's essential to check with local health departments for information about these services.

At-home testing

Prevalence of hepatitis in Clemmons

While specific data for Clemmons is not readily available, state-level data from the CDC indicates that hepatitis is a significant health concern in North Carolina. The prevalence of hepatitis, especially Hepatitis C, has been on the rise in recent years. It's important for residents of Clemmons and nearby cities like Lewisville, Advance, Pfafftown, Winston Salem, and Mocksville to consider regular testing, particularly if they are in a high-risk group.

Risk factors related to hepatitis in Clemmons

Risk factors for hepatitis in Clemmons are similar to those in other parts of the country. These include drug use, unprotected sex, close contact with infected individuals, and travel to high-risk countries. Local socioeconomic factors, such as access to healthcare and education about the disease, can also impact the prevalence of hepatitis.

Other STDs in Clemmons

In addition to hepatitis, other STDs such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, and syphilis are also of concern in the Clemmons area. Regular testing for all STDs/STIs is recommended for those at risk.
