I generally know when I have an UTI so my first choice is AFC Urgent Care. The staff is always very polite from the front door to me actually seeing the Dr. and leaving. Very pleasant staff, great care and even check-in doesn’t take a long time. I wouldn’t change your go anywhere else. Thank you AFC.

The staff were very nice and very helpful. The only issue I had was that I ended up needing to go to the hospital as my condition was more serious then initially determined by urgent care. I would have appreciated referral instead of waiting for the pain to worsen.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who is at risk of contracting hepatitis should consider getting tested. This includes people who have been in close contact with someone who has hepatitis, those who have shared needles or other drug paraphernalia, individuals who have had unprotected sex with multiple partners, and people who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis. In Statesville, NC, as in the rest of the United States, hepatitis is a significant health concern, and testing is an important step in preventing its spread.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it allows for early detection and treatment, which can prevent serious liver damage and other complications. According to the CDC, hepatitis, if left untreated, can lead to liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, and even death. It's also important to get tested because hepatitis can be asymptomatic, meaning you can have the virus and not show any symptoms, but still be able to spread it to others.
