Will not write about my experience other than the fact that the receptionist  young lady that checked me in and took my vitals was excellent. Do not want to share what followed.

I have been to this facility a few times when I have had to take my child in times when her Pediatrician was away. They have taken care of her and even given me a referral so that I may take her to a specialist to further evaluate her. It's not very far from my home at all. I'm glad they are also available after my child gets out of school, since her pediatrican's last appt. is at 3:30, I have time to go to Metro-UrgiCare and feel reassured.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood or body fluids of an infected person should get tested for hepatitis. This includes those who have shared needles or other drug-injection equipment, had sexual contact with an infected person, or were born to a mother with hepatitis. Additionally, individuals who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, or have certain medical conditions such as liver disease, should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection through testing allows for prompt treatment, which can slow the progression of the disease and improve quality of life. Moreover, knowing your hepatitis status can also help prevent the spread of the disease to others.
