Walked in and asked for a bandage change. I was checked in within a couple minutes. And, before I could sit down, I was being ushered to a room. I provided a little history of the wound and the attendant removed the existing bandage & packing, cleaned the area, and skillfully repacked the wound. Thank you. You have a good team in place at this facility. As "Arnold" once said, "I'll be back". I am recommending your facilities everyone in our community. Thank you all.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood or body fluids of an infected person should get tested for hepatitis. This includes people who have shared needles or other drug paraphernalia, those who have had unprotected sex with an infected person, and healthcare workers who have been accidentally pricked with a needle. Additionally, people born between 1945 and 1965, also known as the baby boomer generation, should get tested as they are five times more likely to have hepatitis C.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because many people who have the disease do not show symptoms until the liver damage is severe. Early detection can prevent serious health complications such as liver cirrhosis and liver cancer. According to the CDC, hepatitis C is the leading cause of liver transplants in the United States.
