Short Wait Time

The front staff and medical assistant were very nice. They always have a short wait time which is a plus. However the physician I had was clearly in a rush and not really interested in listening to me concerns. She also called in my prescription under the wrong name and it took over an hour to sort it out at the pharmacy.

I had to bring in my daughter because of a bone fracture. Scheduling and paperwork were easy, front desk very friendly, the doctor and the rest of the medical staff were amazing. It was our first time at that location but would definitely go back if another medical emergency comes up.

I came here and was greeted immediately by the fine staff at front desk. Within minutes I had a room and my vitals were taken. The medical assistant Karina was very kind and gentle when drawing my blood. She also helped me schedule a follow up and was patient with me as I took my time to think. Overall this clinic was very clean and I would highly recommend that anyone come here for a quick and pleasant visit.

I was rather annoyed that the site was unable to print a transactional receipt since the cost of the test needed to be billed to a corporation. If I was a medical company offering this test, I would try to use some sort of system that would keep the registration form and the billing transaction (& receipt )separate. Using separate forms may help to prevent any type of inappropriate handling of “patient’s information” because traditional, an individual’s medical information would not be listed on a receipt from a doctor’s visit. The staff was very friendly and it was not a very busy morning when we visited. If money was not an issue, I would use the system if nothing else was easy accessible.

I scheduled an appointment for a rapid Covid test due to an exposure on Tuesday. I thought I was signing up for a drive in test but was instead routed to the Emergency Clinic. I was charged $20 for a co-pay which made me mad since the website stated it was free. I was then put in a room and a full blown office visit was performed and probably charged to my insurance. I told the nurse and the nurse practitioner that my exposure was limited, that I had no symptoms and I wanted a rapid test so I could go back to watching my grandson. The nurse practitioner said they performed the test that would take AT LEAST 2 days for a result. I expressed my displeasure and asked for a rapid test which I asked for all along. The nurse practitioner finally agreed but expressed her dissatisfaction as she walked out the door. When the very kind nurse returned I again apologized and reiterated that I was signed up for just a drive through rapid test. After assuring me the test results would be about 15 minutes, I was called with my negative result an hour later.

The rapid test was available in 20 minutes as promised. I forgot to ask how long PCR test would take, so i called the next day. I dialed one number and got automated message and was put on hold for a while, so I hung up. Dialed a second number and the lady answered and looked up my result which wasn’t back yet and pleasantly explained that it would be back in n 48 to 72 hrs. After I hung up, the a lady from first call, called me back! I was surprised. She was apologetic (she didn’t have to apologize, they were obviously busy) and she again explained when results would be back… same as other lady. Both were very nice and tried to provide help. BTW I called slightly less than 24 hours after test was collected.

this was the 3rd place I went to. Cermak Immediate Care tried to charge me $100 because I had no insurance. My friend referred me to this facility because he had quick results, great service, and mentioned how clean it was. Those ladies are efficient angels. the waiting area was cleaned after each person left. I was in and out in 10 mins including registration process as a walk in. They deserve a raise because other technicians are not as friendly, polite, courteous, clean, efficient, informative, or amazing as the ladies there at this facility. I thank God for these ladies there. they are on the front line of the epidemic and handle it compassionately and gracefully. Thank you for making this rapid testing process free and available for walk ins and those who have no health insurance.

I came in on a Saturday at about 4. The staff there was very friendly. When I told them everything that was going on the doctor that I had was very worried and due to how high my fever was. I loved the fact that they didn’t pressure me to do my test granted I did say yes to them all just to figure out what I had. The doctor would just say I would recommend but it’s up to me if I want to do it or not and I liked that any other immediate care places I’ve gone to don’t ask they just do it. Granted the doctor couldn’t figure out what I have but prescribed me med for the flu and strep just in case and to help fight what I have. I would definitely do that 40 min drive again to use that facility

I booked an appointment for the COVID test because of possible exposure. The entire staff was amicable and accommodating - I was 15 minutes late due to traffic. Sorry!!! I met Dr. Sin via a tablet where I explained my exposure concern; she told me I should have the test to be safe and put my mind at ease. The rapid results were nearly instantaneous, which was terrific (and negative)! I'm just waiting on my PCR results to be double sure. The process to book an appointment online was SUPER simple. The staff was great, the facility was clean, and I was out of there so quickly. The only thing to recommend and is minor is to add in the address that the location was on the second floor of the plaza.

ZERO REVIEW!! Normally I don’t give bad reviews but today I will. My appointment was at list 2hrs in advance. Completed all my paperwork online and I was all set. I even arrived 5min early incase I needed to signed anything else. I waiting in the office for at list 40 minutes, I noticed 3ppl where called before me. I thought maybe it was taking longer to be call because my appointment was different and it simply wasn’t a COVID-19 test. I asked the front office what’s taking so long. They really didn’t have a answer to give me, final they tell me that they simply didn’t write my name in their check list. I was so upset for how unprofessional this urgent care really cares for people. To the next person be prepared to wait 40 minutes before being call even when they tell you is just a few minutes. Then expect to wait another 40 minutes in the room before they finally give a medication prescription.

Amie is excellent, light-handed, caring, professional, understanding, expert! MCT cares about their clients/ patients. It makes it’s services clients-friendly so it’s not too traumatic or very painful (especially on kids). MCT is compassionate to their clients, they value everyone’s feedback to better improve their services. It’s also expanding— now in Bartlett & Bloomidales. MCT thinks outside the box, practical & innovative. They will be around perpetually ( I can see it happening). I would never go anywhere else. Pls also consider the oral swab for the low risk, asymptotic, kids & just having testing as job requirement. Will you consider expanding to Schaumburg, IL & Elgin, IL areas— lotsa subdivisions & business establishments. We need your business card to give to friends. Perhaps make your signs BIGGER & MORE EYE-CATCHING— perhaps neon signs.

Everything was simple to do online. There was a slight wait past my appointment time. The staff was friendly. I didn’t really understand why the doctor had to come in. The nurse got more info from me. I barely saw him. I specifically came for a rapid result Covid test. I also took a PCR at Walgreens where I just took the test in the drive through. I did like that you tested for other infections and of course the best part was the quick response. I have no concept what costs are for these things because I have good insurance. So, I don’t know if this was reasonable or not. I have never used an immediate care before so I can’t tell if I would recommend it over any others.

Although it was very, very uncomfortable, they were excellent at explaining exactly what would happen and just how uncomfortable the test would be. Nicest people, especially when I explained that I had already had a regular test at my local hospital on Saturday for a procedure on Tuesday, but I found out that test wouldn’t get there in time for my procedure before Tuesday. I panicked, because I did not know where to go. My husband whose an iron worker, works out at the mall and remembered seeing this test site there. There was no line, and I only waited about 20 minutes for results, which thankfully was NEGATIVE! Only negative thing I have to say is that the test is $175.00 by credit or debit card only; although the written report they give you has an ID Number on it, and you CAN call your insurance company and they may pay for it. Thank you ROCKET TESTING!

Even with an appointment we waited an hour. Only way to get the result was through text or email and I explained that my son needed a release letter to return to school tomorrow. The guy was a bit pissy and said they would email it as well. I got the text message but no email. There should have been 2 people working tests. One doing the walk ups and one doing the appointments. I went on Thursday in the afternoon and had. Rep issue and the girl allowed me to wait in a parking spot until my result was in so I could get a return to school letter for my mother son. The layout of the e parking lot for those coming in to test is terrible.

My SO and I learned at the last minute that we needed a special NAAT test for travel to Hawaii (our travel advisors did not tell us that Hawaii is the only state that requires this test). We had only 24 hours to take the test and get the results and it is not given by every clinic -- and few clinics offer rapid results. Well AFC met every need --- overnight appointment, friendly staff, results in 15 minutes and our technician (America) not only was skilled, professional, friendly and efficient, she knew all there was to know about the user-unfriendly Hawaii "safe travel" site where you need to jump through a million hoops. And all staff had a smile. Bravo.

Great people working here. Came here for some testing and didn’t realize it involved getting blood drawn. For some unreasonable reason I’ve always had a phobia of needles, especially blood drawn/IV. Been avoiding this stuff for a long time. Today I had to finally cross that bridge and deal with it. I was as nervous as I’ve ever been, but everyone was understanding about it. The male physician( Ramal?) was the most helpful. He did the blood work himself and pretty much held my hand during this. It was easy, didn’t really feel a thing. In the end, he helped me cross that bridge and I’m very thankful for it. It may seem like nothing, but this was a big deal for me. You guys helped me get through this silly fear. Thank you.

My early elementary-aged son and I had cold symptoms on a weekend morning. I booked online for later that morning. Both of us were in and out of here in under ten minutes. The guy was very nice and helped my son feel at ease. We swabbed ourselves for five seconds each nostril with our first sticks, and then repeated the process with a second stick. One was the rapid antigen test and the other the PCR test. Much easier and less painful than the other tests I had. It kind of looked like a place in strip mall you'd find in the Simpsons, but it did the job. :D My son was intrigued by a ceiling tile that looked like it was going to fall out, but it was over their cubicles, not over us, so I guess it doesn't matter. The place was very clean regardless of the tile or Simpson-esque layout. Halfway on the 15-minute drive home, my phone email notification dinged to tell me my rapid results were in. We were both negative. I'll definitely head out there again if I need another test. Beats getting my brain poked with a swab any day. Highly recommend.

Fantastic services. Whereas most convenience pharmacies continue to play the state's political games with Coronavirus testing and treatments, keeping the artificial "positivity rate" higher than the actual % in the general population; while inherently discriminating against those families in the middle or lower income stratum; Free Covid Care is located conveniently close to populations where coronavirus medical care and virus infection testing is being withheld by the State and county controlled public healthcare systems. Those with private/employer provided group health plans have ready access to frequent testing, and early treatments if Coronavirus or Flu virus infected. Early treatment is the primary discriminator for infection outcomes. When treated early & stopping symptom/infection progression, symptom length of contagiousness, ensuring rapid recovery, prevents severe infections with the extremely high transmission loads of the severely infected. Quick accessible testing allows the safe effective early treatments to prevent widespread transmission. By shortening the contagious period to a number of days, prevents the 14 to 21 day natural infection course from contaminating households? Friends and family. Thank You for your services.

We have been coming here since they opened. Wait times are a little longer now due to many patients waiting for covid rapid tests and having to sterilize rooms in between but they let you wait in your car and get you into a room as fast as possible... I have never had to wait in the waiting room. Everyone is so friendly. Even on Thanksgiving it was very busy and the front desk had a lot going on but they kept everything moving and were very transparent with how many people were ahead of us and about how long it would be. Care team is excellent with my kids. Our primary doctor is a little far to go every time we have a cold or infection and KIDS urgent gets my kids feeling better quickly. Always able to get a last minute appointment.

I booked my appointment online. Drive up service was easy and convenient. I had an appointment but they were also taking walk-ins and the wait was almost nothing. It seemed a little odd to be swabbing my own nose, but no big deal. I drove back around and handed off my specimen and I was done. I had the rapid results in my email by the time I got home. Be aware, my results went into my spam folder (so be sure to check there if you don't see them). She said my other test will be resulted tomorrow (on a Sunday) because she marked my test as expedited. I hope I get it in time for my trip. Very friendly and helpful staff!

got my first ever test for covid here because the medical tyranny has led to united center requiring a negative test or proof of having gotten the not-vaccines, and I was very happy to learn how poorly validated all of the process is. I was never asked to show id to get the test done under the name I signed up with, and neither did the United center security check my id either when I presented the pdf of my negative result. and I'm also happy to see how simple and easy to fake the result pdf is. and since no federal seal on test result, unlike faking a vaccine card there is no penalty or even any mechanism for one to be implemented which would make forging such a document illegal. now I know next time I don't have to bother with a test, I can just alter the date on my negative result! thanks for making this so easy. God bless everyone who works there!

So it was super easy to go there. I brought myself and four of my kids. The hardest part was all the paperwork because we didn’t do it in advance and I had so many people. It was free but we were asked to give insurance info since we have insurance. There was only three other people there the whole time. Two before we got there and one while we were there. It did take about an hour but that was because I was filling out the paperwork for five people which took up most of the time. If you filled out your paperwork ahead of time you would be in and out in no time. The woman who did the testing was super nice, helpful and friendly. I felt like it was clean and safe.

I wish I went to Rocket before Walgreens and IDPH. It was quick and we got it done and continued on with our day. No long forms, no long lines, no websites to register on, no apps to download, no confused employees (who approached us with swabs, shoving them in our faces, before even saying hello, without even asking who in the car was getting tested! AND then said they never heard of rapid tests!), NO bait and switch (neither offered the rapid test although when we arrived at IDPH the first person encountered said they did, and I called Walgreens they said they did too - they did not). Am I supposed to trust them to run this test correctly? Really? Who has time to waste like this? Not us! We have a life to live and things to do! At Rocket, we got a rapid test, quick results, paid and said goodbye to the nice lady who helped us. She pleasantly answered our questions without us even asking and was very EFFICIENT. That’s exactly what we wanted, thank you nice lady (I’m sorry I forgot your name in Schaumburg IL) and thank you Rocket.

Countryside Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
