Short Wait Time

My 6 year old son ended up having Scarlett Fever.  We took him to his pediatrician in the morning and they did NOTHING. We were fortunate enough to get my 6 year old son and 10 year old daughter in.  The entire staff was INCREDIBLE! From the receptionist to the nurses to Dr. Anthony.  They ran strep tests, took his temperature, and gave him a couple of antibiotics.  My kids thought they were really nice!  Great staff, very professional, awesome bedside manner and the office was clean!   We are veru grateful and highly recommend!

Friendly Staff

Have been dealing with issues regarding an infected navel piercing and pushing back a doctors visit because I am always afraid of needing to go. Immediately greeted by such friendly and caring check-in staff. I have no insurance so they were able to help negotiate a price that worked for me. The nurse and doctor who saw me were so friendly and understanding of my fears and situation. They listened to everything I told them and offered me many solutions to my problems, even still understanding my lack of insurance and showing me where to find the cheapest options for prescriptions. All the staff made me feel cared for, as if they were friends of mine I’ve known for a long time. I was in and out in about an hour and am looking forward to my second visit. I would recommend this provider to everyone I know, especially anyone who is normally afraid of being in hospital settings or doctors.

The receptionist and PA that was there today (2/20/2019)were great and amazing! My only complaint was that the nurse on staff today was not so warm and welcoming let alone have 1 smile on her face . Other than her I was very happy with our visit today .

I came here and was greeted immediately by the fine staff at front desk. Within minutes I had a room and my vitals were taken. The medical assistant Karina was very kind and gentle when drawing my blood. She also helped me schedule a follow up and was patient with me as I took my time to think. Overall this clinic was very clean and I would highly recommend that anyone come here for a quick and pleasant visit.

I had to bring in my daughter because of a bone fracture. Scheduling and paperwork were easy, front desk very friendly, the doctor and the rest of the medical staff were amazing. It was our first time at that location but would definitely go back if another medical emergency comes up.

The nurse was outstanding. Totally calmed down my child and successfully got her to take the nasal test and it went so well that she’s okay taking another.

Very friendly place! Nice to be able to book an appointment online. Brought my grandson for a Covid test and only had a short wait. The technician was efficient and answered all our questions. She was dressed in protective gear the same as nurses taking care of Covid patients. We had our masks and gloves on, and felt very safe. A couple minutes and he was done! I would recommend NewMed for anyone needing a Covid test quickly and efficiently.

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and personable when we came for a rapid covid test. They have a great procedure that keeps everything separate from the rest of the facility so as to not risk other non-covid patients.

Great to be able to make an appointment and get in on time! Very efficient and professional nurse in giving the Covid Tests. Also, immediate results for the rapid test! I would recommend New Med Immediate Care to everyone who needs a Covid Test or a Doctor for treatment of a whole range of medical care!!

I needed a COVID test for a doctor appointment. When I called I was told to make a appointment on line which I did. When I visited the facility I was checked in and told to wait outside to be called in. I was called in about 5 minutes later, just as I was told at check in. The actual procedure only took a couple of minutes. The next day I was e-mailed the result. All in all a very pleasant experience.

My go to clinic for covid testing! I never have trouble getting an appointment here at a time that works for me. Always receive my results within the promised time frame. Staff are excellent at making sure testing is safe & that the clinic is sanitary for all their clients. Because of this clinic, I have the confidence of knowing I can protect not only myself, but more importantly those around me.

NewMed was a great experience The staff was very professional and courteous. After my great experience I sent my two kids and coworkers there to get tested. I will keep NewMed’s number in my contacts. Thank you.

Today the staff and the technician were very nice The Technition did a fine job administering the test!!! In the past the nurse practitioner was very rude and wouldn’t listen to me We came in because our son was sick She seemed to care less my son wasn’t feeling well !!!!!

COVID Rapid PCR test: about 20 minutes behind schedule (to be expected with the recent uptick of testing); they handled it well; they were able to accomodate both my daughters within a couple of hours of our need; everybody was helpful, knowledgable, professional, courteous and very friendly to my daughters. Highly recommended; we'll be using them for all future testing needs - likely even our children's medical needs, as well.

This was a first time visit to NewMed and Erica was very efficient at adding me to the system and subsequently did a fabulous job at administering the blood test. Very pleased with the overall experience.

This was my first time testing for covid and didn’t really know what to expect but the couple of staff members I talked to couldn’t have been any nicer. Very friendly and professional. I only waited a couple of minutes before my test, which was painless and that was it. Results were told to take about 24 hours. The lady who did my test was very kind and gentle and my experience was a good one.

I came in for a covid test. This was the first time at this facility. Everything went very well. I was in and out in no time. Staff was professional and explained things well. Reception/waiting area is small and unattractive and doesn't allow for distancing. Good that they had me wait in my car until they were ready for me. Hope test results come back within the 18 to 24 hours that was promised.

All the staff we came in contact with were very nice! The nurse that did the test was very professional and down to earth nice!!! I would definitely recommend the clinic in Rolling Meadows!

I was only there for a covid rapid test, but the experience was fine. I had no hiccups no hiccups in getting to my appointment and the person do it running the test was very pleasant.

- Verified patient on 11/24

Everybody was extremely efficient and helpful. I appreciated the setup of waiting in my car until the tester was ready. They kept everything safe by putting me in the waiting room for the shortest time possible. Masks are required, an obvious precaution for a testing site. It is a good idea to check whether insurance covers the test. But everything about this visit was easy.

- Verified patient on 11/11

My only displeasure of the appointment was coming in the back door, which was well understood for safety purposes, However, the area in the back is very unwelcoming, dark and dirty. The physician was terrific and made a special trip to the back to say hello, advise on the most appropriate form of Covid testing and answer any questions.

- Verified patient on 3/19

All staff is very nice The nurse who gave the test was very good and professional! The nurse was very nice to our disabled son! We appreciate the kindness!

Getting a covid test was already stressful for myself and family but the ease of making the appointments and kind staff made it a more positive experience. The test itself was not painful and administered with care and good explanation.

- Verified patient on 2/3

Was very easy to put appointment online. Wait time was minimal. The place was clean and professional looking. The lad who performed the test was very professional very friendly and very informative. A very simple streamlined process.

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
