This clinic has shorter than average waiting periods

Short Wait Time

I didn’t have to wait long. But the only problem was they sent my prescriptions to tbt wrong pharmacy. I had to go back in twice to find out what was going on. Finally they had to call it in to the right pharmacy which I had already informed when I got to the clinic. Other than that they treated me with respect.

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

After receiving my results, I called Labcorp and discussed the results with a consultation. This consultation filled in my knowledge gaps and made me more aware of my particular situation.

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

I heard about this center from a coworker and went to it with no appointment lined up, but it was so easy to sign in and get registered as their signs were posted right as you pull in the lot, telling you where to park during the paperwork. Couple other cars in the process when I went on a week day morning, but I was in and out and done within 30 minutes. The two ladies who assisted me were both extremely friendly and explained the actual swabbing and what to do next. Would highly recommend to anyone needing COVID testing.

The line was the longest I've experienced yet but it's because it's a weekend I'm assuming. They got everyone through as quickly as possible though. They even recognized me (I have 4 kids we have been there a lot) Staff was wonderful and helpful as always! Great place to go for a test that causes such nervousness!

It was a long wait but it happens. The guy who was helping with the tests was so friendly and helpful. I felt bad when my dog barked at him (not mean just small and barky) and before I could say anything he said don't worry about i have dogs. Not a fun thing to have to do but the staff made it an easier experience.

Kudos to the folks that had to wander in the cold to provide this service. I'm not sure I would have had their pleasant demeanor working in that environment. I scheduled an appointment at the fairgrounds for later in the day, but drove by the Roosevelt location and there were only a handful of cars. Since I was in the SOLV system, they pulled my information, which saved some time. The wait time was reasonable, considering it was no appointment, drive-up. The process was well explained and straight forward. I took both the rapid and PCR test. The rapid results were back to me well within an hour. I came back to cancel my scheduled appointment, but the system had already processed me through and canceled it. Well done! I hope I don't need to visit again :-)

Jennifer and her staff take care of tbe testing at our business every week. Even running shorthanded they are very attentive to our needs and bend over backwards to make sure our samples get delivered to the testing lab on time. Sometimes the results are delayed but that is the responsibility of the lab. And can be expected with the sheer munbers of samples being delivered.

This was my first time I have had the Covid testing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even when she had to repeat instructions for me. Thank you and many safe blessings surround each of you & your families!!! God bless you all!!! I would recommend this for others wanting to get tested. They get you in and out quickly! It was as expected— no cost to me. In and out before my actual appointment time . Booked appointment on line Good bedside manner 👍

Its was very convenient. Traveling through area taking daught back to college but needed a PCR test for a surgery I am having day after I get back home. Needed a test within 5 days of the surgery so had to get one on the trip to meet the timeline. This option worked out very well.

I would recommend this service. It was my first time there for a Covid test. All went smoothly and pretty quickly, but I was glad that a friend had told me about the process. That made it go faster. Very well organized. Great staff. Can’t speak to cleanliness as I never left my car. 🙂

The overall experience was good! You had some strange protocol. I felt strange about using a grabber to hand plastic to patient. I found it strange to have patient test themselves. I have been tested a few times, this one was strange. Then my doctor sends me over to the hospital across the street to get an X-ray. They are so friendly and overly close to people as they walk them down the hallway to testing area. Strange! I’m not sure right or wrong just left me with a frightened scared feeling and I don’t even think I have Covid.

The girls were wonderful and very patient with our visit. I had been trying to get my little one tested for 2 days with no luck due to my schedule. I showed up right before closing and told them I was waiting on my daughter to be dropped off and they stayed open until she arrived. Which to me shows that they actually do care about ensuring people are safe. Thank you girls!

I was looking for a Covid testing facility with openings , I found this location by word of mouth then online. I scheduled my appointment online, it was easy and fast. I’ve never been to this facility before and I was impressed. The staff was friendly and professional. They remembered my name right the first time which is usually not the case at many of my business interactions. The service was free as posted. I waited less than 5 minutes, check in was fast.thank you!

It was great. Quick. Easy. However, I’m not sure why we had to register with a time when there is just one giant line. Then we got stuck behind someone who hadn’t registered. There should be separate lines! Also I just asked for a rapid test and we had to do both which I thought was odd.

Every single person here is pleasant, and in spite of people being rude and not reading signs, the staff is patient, kind, explains everything reapeatedly without sounding bored or put out. The things these people have to put up with, people-just be nice, wait your turn, and we'll all get through this together. Have been here multiple times this week for Covid testing and every day the procedure has been updated to accommodate the changing Covid landscape and the extraordinary numbers needing to test. Kudos to all. You're doing extraordinary work!

I took my 6yr old daughter to be tested and I was so happy with the care she received. The lady that helped us with administering the test was amazing. She was able to get my daughter to test herself to minimize any trauma and fear she had. Would definitely recommend. Making an appointment online was super easy, getting pre registered was easy and check in when we arrived was a breeze.

Made an appointment for a Covid test online. Availability for a test time in two hrs. Booked it and submitted paperwork online. Arrived 10 minutes early. Only 7 cars ahead of me. Total time for the rapid and PCR test was 25 minutes. Had results for rapid test within 35 minutes. This was a Sunday afternoon so maybe not a busy day but definitely a great experience and will come back again if needed.

My husband and I both were tested do to exposure. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Line for testing was long but moved quickly. This staff is definitely over worked but continue to maintain a positive attitude. Hopefully we will not have a need to be tested again but if so we definitely will come back here

I tried this place because I needed a COVID test for eye surgery it was next to my pharmacy and the sign said free COVID test 7days a week. I did the drive through. The young lady was very helpful with the app I had to download and fill out. I didn't pre register but she didn't turn me away. It took me longer to fill out the information then to swab my own nose and put the swab in the tube. I didn't enter the building it was drive threw. I was not charged and was not told there was a change. The signs said free COVID test.

My experience was excellent. The staff was kind and very courteous as well as super professional!!! I felt very at ease in a stressing situation. Explanations were very clear and the information given was correct. The attention was very efficient so wait times were very short. A special thanks to the very professional friendyt staff. The test results were given within the estipulated time.

This was our first time using this clinic and we will definitely be back as needed for COVID testing. Very quick and easy, extremely friendly and informative staff. I know right now has got to be stressful on those providing and testing in these capacities and I am just so amazed and grateful for the kindness and help provided while getting our 9 year old tested. Appreciate you all!

Valparaiso Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
