This place is usually my go to urgent care clinic but, I don't know what was wrong with the secretary and the doctor yesterday. They had ill attitudes and the doctor did not prescribe any cough medication for my son even though he showed every symptom to need a prescription. She was not attentive to him, acting hurriedly to get out of the room. I was very disappointed. This place is usually really great but not yesterday. They could have dropped the attitude at the door. It was not necessary to bring it to work.

I waited about 10 min she called me in listened to everything I had to say, and was very knowledgeable about my issues, gave me a shot and three prescriptions, I felt so much better as soon as she gave me me the shot, I am very satisfied 😀😀

Fell Thursday am while doing some cleaning. Fell on my right arm, immediate swelling & marked pain. My daughter insisted I see a Dr so we decided to go to Urgent Care. No problem getting checked in but wait time for X-rays & seeing Dr was to long. Staff all helpful & friendly. When the Dr came in she went over X-ray results. It was a severe radial fx C impaction & a sharp splintered piece, told me what needed to be done& that I should go to the ER right away. She presented to be very competent & empathetic. Yes I would.

About Kidney Profile Testing

Kidney Profile Testing is a set of diagnostic tests that assesses the health and function of the kidneys. These tests measure various substances in the blood and urine to evaluate kidney function, detect kidney diseases, and monitor kidney health. Kidney Profile Testing is essential for identifying early signs of kidney dysfunction and guiding appropriate medical interventions.

Who Should Get Tested

If you reside in Sherwood, Arkansas, and want to assess your kidney health or have risk factors for kidney disease, Kidney Profile Testing is recommended. This panel is especially important for individuals with diabetes, high blood pressure, family history of kidney disease, or those taking medications that can affect kidney function.

Tests Included in Kidney Profile

Kidney Profile Testing typically includes the following tests:

  • Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP): Measures electrolyte levels, glucose, and kidney function markers, such as blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine.
  • Urinalysis: Analyzes urine for signs of kidney disease, urinary tract infections, or other abnormalities.
  • Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR): Calculates the rate at which the kidneys filter waste products from the blood.

Interpreting the Results

The interpretation of Kidney Profile Testing results is based on the specific values of each test component. Abnormal results may indicate kidney dysfunction or the presence of kidney disease.

Importance of Kidney Profile

Kidney Profile Testing is important for:

  • Assessing kidney function and detecting early signs of kidney disease
  • Monitoring kidney health in individuals with chronic conditions or risk factors
  • Adjusting medication dosages for individuals with kidney impairment
  • Guiding appropriate medical interventions to protect kidney function

Following the Test

After Kidney Profile Testing, healthcare providers review the results with individuals and offer recommendations based on the findings. If abnormal results are detected, further testing and medical evaluation may be necessary to determine the underlying cause and develop a treatment plan.

Kidney Profile Testing is an essential tool for assessing kidney health and promoting early detection and management of kidney diseases, enabling individuals in Sherwood, Arkansas to maintain optimal kidney function and overall well-being.
