My son got injured during a Saturday night soccer game and we watched his knee until Monday. Monday morning we woke up and walked in to smiles and quick care that made us feel better. We were able to see that nothing was broken and get scheduled for a follow up with our orthopedic. They are always convenient and always very nice! Thanks Again!!

By any matrix, on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate In and Out Urgent Care facilities, and especially its staff, hands down a “25!!”  Even if you have to drive a little further, you will be glad you did.  If you go once, it will be your first choice.

A great experience for something I had a lot of anxiety about. Had no wait time or issues at the testing center/lab. Had blood drawn at 3pm and had results by email at 9am the next morning.

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

We needed a specific kind of Covid test to travel and this is the only clinic in Slidell that could do it!👏

- Verified patient on 6/15

I’ve been here quite a few times in the past and for the FIRST TIME y’all actually have a much nicer & friendlier staff! I stopped coming here last year due to the rudeness of doctors and literally the whole staff. Much nicer atmosphere now. Brittany did my Covid test and she went ABOVE & BEYOND to make me as comfortable as possible not to mention, her bedside manners were impeccable!

- Verified patient on 8/13

All staff were friendly! That is SO Refreshing as some are very unpleasant, specially the first person you check in with but our young lady was friendly and nice ! Also we had to call the main office on questions about the international Covid travel testing and we spoke to Amy and she was SO helpful and went over and beyond!

- Verified patient on 11/11

I am a pharmacy store manager and I always recommend Rapid Care for quick care and Covid testing to customers seeking help. They always take good care of me.

- Verified patient on 12/9

The wait was long but I do not fault the staff or facility in any way. There were many people there besides myself who were getting tested for Covid. Organized and friendly despite the fact that they are always busy.

- Verified patient on 8/22

I walked in for a Sar2Covid 19 test The staff acted a in courteous and professional manner.

- Verified patient on 8/21

This is my first time going to them but I loved the front desk person for working with my schedule to get my daughter tested for CoVid.

- Verified patient on 8/16

All were very friendly and helpful. Would have preferred set appointment time vs. Walk-in. I had to wait an hour outside in my car in bad weather. Just went for Covid test . I tried to get appointment but was told just to walk in..

- Verified patient on 8/28

Everyone was great other than the provider. He walked in gave the COvID test result for my daughter and proceeded to walk out. I had to ask what he thought was causing her problems and he said probably a stomach virus and continued out door. If I was there solely for a COvID test this wouldn’t have mattered but I came seeking care for my child and left with nothing other than a test result. He seemed unconcerned

You were referred to us for a test needed to travel. First time there but won't be last, great experience. Very helpful staff, very quick service!

- Verified patient on 9/26

Had to get my little one Covid tested so she could return to preschool. Everyone was very nice, friendly and professional.

- Verified patient on 8/16

I had made an appt the day before thank God because the line was out the door and down through shopping center for covid tests. Once I was in was quick and thorough. Booked appt online. Dr was nice.

- Verified patient on 8/20

nurse dude kinda rude, took absolutely forever for a 15 min test for 40 min later to come get the results. the actual doctor was sweet though i love this place though y’all are doing amazing

- Verified patient on 8/1

The wait time was terrible because it was New Year’s Day and very few clinics were open that day. But the staff was great! In fact I live in Folsom and I would travel to Slidell again because of the way me and my niece were treated. From the initial phone call to see if they had Covid test to us actually having the test done everything was perfect except the wait. It was a great experience!

- Verified patient on 1/2

I’ve never had any issues in the past but the blonde hair lady at the front desk refused to bill my insurance for Covid from what appeared to be personal politics. I had to advocate for myself to be tested. The doctor and nurses are great.

- Verified patient on 11/1

I was there for a COVID-19 test and it came out negative and everything went well.

- Verified patient on 4/19

This was my first time visiting this urgent care but I'm so glad I was sent there from the Picayune Urgent Care because I'm not sure if the lady that helped me was the actual nurse or doctor but whoever she was she was like me meeting a living Angel here on earth. She was extremely concerned about my symptoms and gave me the best care I have honestly gotten at any hospital or urgent care period! If we had more people like her our world would be Awesome with lots of friendly mess, bedside manners and even care/ love! I only wish she was a PCP because she is definitely would love for her to see me regularly because if there was anything wrong with me I know she would do various test and get to the bottom of my problem! She has to be a Beautiful family member! I know it probably sounds like I know her and just am giving her a good review but I promise today was the first time I ever seen the lady and I'm Truly Glad that the Picayune Urgent Care could not take my insurance so they advised me to go there to the Slidell one because it was A Blessing To Me To Have Her Taking Care Of Me! I don't remember her name but if y'all can find out who she was and let her read this I would Greatly Appreciate It! Thanks Again To The Beautiful Living Angel Who Took Care Of Me At The Slidell Urgent Care On Airport Rd. May God Forever Bless Her And Keep Her Safe!!!!!

- Verified patient on 8/28

Very fast and friendly! I walked in and it took about 40 minutes to be tested and 10 minutes for the results. I was pleased!

Slidell Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

  • What is a routine lab test?

A basic lab test may evaluate your red and white blood cell counts to discover if you have anemia, a blood infection, or blood cancer.
