I received excellent information about my condition from the doctor.

The nurse was friendly but not at all gentle in swabbing my nose for the pcr test. I let her know how much she was hurting me and I know it could have been done to the same effect a lot more gently. She also told me it would take 2-3 days to get pcr results. I was led to believe otherwise from your web site and the doctor who was very friendly came in after and said we should have it probably 24 hours.

The only thing I did not care for was the receptionist. She was a little snobbish and unwelcoming. However, everything else was very nice.

The process of meeting a doctor online vis our cell phone, followed by scheduling through the app for further testing was flawless. The ability to upload all your insurance information early allowed me to just focus on the appointment. I got a text message to remind me of the appointment abs a link to check in and see where I was in line. Awesome all around.

I had a slight fever , headache, body aches, congestion, coughing. I looked at other options for flu and CoVid testing but couldn’t get it done for several days. Called Ouch! Urgent care on recommendation of primary care physician’s office staff. I called and was told all appointments were full for today but to get in and I would be tested. When I arrived I called and was told to move to Cone 2. I sat in car and registered. Staff came and got my cards and later did nasal swab. Great service!

The facility was very clean and the check in process was quick. There was no one else in the waiting room so we were seen pretty quickly. The nurse was very kind and reassuring during her visit. However, the dr came in and spent a total of 2 mins examining my daughter. Her exam wasn’t thorough at all and I don’t believe my daughter received the best care she could’ve. We were there because my daughter has a sore throat. The nurse took a sample to test for Covid but the dr didn’t test her for strep which I would think is pretty standard. We’re both anxious to receive her results in the meantime but our visit with the dr left much to be desired. There was no one else there so I have no idea why she rushed the exam.

I went in for a Covid test. Overall the operation was very smooth, but I will say that there was a lot of set up in the beginning when I had to go through all the webpages to register. It seem like a lot more information was needed to set up my account just to get a Covid test. But the staff was fantastic

Ro came out to do my Covid test, and even under the PPE /Masks, you could see her smiling and friendly demeanor! Everyone at Ouch! Has been like this to us. Always come here if the situation demands it.

I had a Covid test and a Strep test so the nurse came out to my car. She was so friendly and made me feel much less nervous!!!! She even took time to help me fill out the questions!!!! I have been to Ouch 3 times ( I think) and would Highly recommend Ouch!!! I didnot have to wait at all!!!!

Went for COVID test. Woman who was performing was running to get everybody taken care of quickly. Even as people were honking at her, she smiled the whole time. She is a great woman and thank you for having her.

I did not go inside because it was for a covid test, but the staff was extremely friendly and efficient. I appreciated being able to access the forms online so I didn’t have to waste any unnecessary time during the work day. They took my insurance (unitedhealthcare choice) and I had no issues. Highly recommended :)

They came to my car and had me tested and ready to go about 5 minutes before I was scheduled to be there. The staff was friendly and helped to explain details about the COVID test I was given.

- Verified patient on 12/20

Quick and as painless as a covid test can really be. My only concern is the tech opened the door with the same gloves she had on when interacting with a patient. I am a healthcare worker and that is a big no no. Insurance covered my test.

If you need a COVID test and you're military traveling through BWI go here! They're super helpful, take Tricare, and stay in touch. Do not go anywhere else but here. Thank you ouch clinic for supporting military personnel en route to their deployed locations, yall are the best!

My experience was absolutely wonderful! Easy to make an appointment online! It was great to be able to stay in my car and the staff was extremely friendly and said we were doing a great job while getting our covid tests! Thanks for being so amazing and kind throughout the experience!

We arrived a minute or two before the appointment time and the staff member greeted me as we parked and got started immediately. The COVID test was quick, painless and I recommend them for anyone needing urgent care without the emergency room delay.

- Verified patient on 10/26

Staff was fabulous! Wish I could have filled out forms in advance instead laboriously typing on phone. Also, sign on door in front of spot 2 said testing was cancelled today due to lack of staffing. That freaked me out.

This was my second time to visit this Ouch facility and went in just to have a Covid test done after being possibly exposed. Even though I didn't enter into building, the staff was very punctual as for my appointment time and came out to my car to do test and swab my nose. Also was very happy and surprised to see a very familiar face on your staff who previously worked at my primary care doctor's office. Great visit, great staff members and great professional, quick time services being rendered.

I went in for the COVID-19 PCR testing. There was no wait time and the staff were friendly and prompt. They make it very convenient by having online forms and sending out reminders. Overall experience was great. Highly recommend!

This visit was SO easy! We were able to stay in the car to get my three kids tested for Covid. The nurse came out within two minutes of us pulling up- she was so kind and friendly and really put my kids at ease. Couldn’t give her a high enough rating- she was wonderful. She answered questions confidently and did her job quickly and well. I would highly recommend OUCH to others. Check-in was quick and easy. Booked online.

Very professional and patient. I’m a senior citizen I had a lot of questions & nervous. I couldn’t find my cards & through it all the person who did my test was reassuring , professional, & most of all she was kind and very patient with me. I thank her.

Luckily, The office was not overwhelmed with patients. There were 3 or 4 people in front of me and I think the wait time was very reasonable under those circumstances. Staff were helpful, and understanding. First class operation. I tried teledoc but there was too much of a delay in getting tested before receiving a prescription. I needed help NOW, not next week after the test results. Ouch took care of everything in my case. They can do SOME testing right there with very little waiting. Everything was completed here. All I had to do was pick up the script after my visit. This varies depending on your issue but common sense is a good guide. Ouch is first class.

Everything was great except it was kinda confusing about the fact that u must get a Covid test there before u can actually make a dr appt. This was not clear on website or with all of the emails and texts…etc… But when I got there the nurse doing the testing explained everything to me! She was wonderful.

Elkridge Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
