The nurse was friendly but not at all gentle in swabbing my nose for the pcr test. I let her know how much she was hurting me and I know it could have been done to the same effect a lot more gently. She also told me it would take 2-3 days to get pcr results. I was led to believe otherwise from your web site and the doctor who was very friendly came in after and said we should have it probably 24 hours.

I was concerned about the blisters that started appearing on the left side of my chin and ear so I requested on line for an appointment. The link was easy to follow so within a few minutes I was able to secure an appointment. The receptionist was very professional and courteous. So also were the nurse and the physician. It felt like I went to my regular physician’s office. Definitely, I will recommend Fast Track to anyone that needs their services.

The only thing I did not care for was the receptionist. She was a little snobbish and unwelcoming. However, everything else was very nice.

I accidentally sliced off the side of finger and they helped staunch the bleeding and reassured me that no further care was needed. Much better then going to the emergency room. Great and friendly care.

I had an eye infection that was getting out of hand on a Sunday night. I was able to walk in at 9 pm and immediately get an appointment. I was out 30 minutes later with a prescription sent to a 24-hr pharmacy. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Fast Track Urgent Care, Silver Spring - 13428 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring
Fast Track Urgent Care, Silver Spring
Jan 15, 2021 · Silver Spring, MD
Quick service and a professional staff. Unfortunately, I canceled my rapid test but this wasn’t communicated to the testing staff. Gutted that happened as I phone called twice to ensure my rapid test was canceled and the staff I spoke to confirmed it was canceled. Other than that, on-site service was satisfactory.

I walked in and the wait time was still reasonable. I needed a Covid test before seeing another Dr for a routine appointment. The Fast Track staff were warm & efficient in providing the test I needed. Glad we have Fast Track! Recommended!

Everyone was very friendly, including the nurse assistant who took my rapid test, and the PA Jennifer who discussed my results. They seemed very genuinely warm and positive. My only note would be the front office was a little behind on replacing the clean pens, but that’s it!

This was for a walk-in Covid test for travel. The staff were all very friendly and the process was both efficient and speedy.

The medical professional who performed my test was courteous, personable and exhibited the deepest compassion for her patients. In times in which we live, it made me weep to see how dedicated she is to ensuring her patients receive good care and understanding. I am grateful you have such wonderful employees working at Fastrack!

Dr. Aoura is wonderful friendly knowledgeable. The muse who gave me the blood test was excellent only stuck me one time. Very nice too

Overall efficient. We contact you for COVID testing. Only complaint is that it would have been good to be able to get drive through PCR testing in Kensington which is near where we live.

- Verified patient on 12/10

The staff was awesome - both the technician/nurse and the doctor!! They really blew me away by how thorough, caring, and knowledgeable they were!! I’ve already raved about them to family. I came in for a COVID test, had no wait, and was able to discuss some other health issues with the doctor. Really outastanding care!! 👏👏👏

I made an appointment for COVID testing online - the phone and process experience can be improved. Once appointed was made, doing the tele health meeting went smoothly and getting test done at the Colesville location went well. The lady performing the test was professional.

The woman who took my Covid swab for testing was wonderful. Take care of her!

We went for a rapid covid test - everyone was friendly and professional, and we were in and out quickly - we'll be back!

- Verified patient on 9/16

I went to the clinic for a COVID test. The person who collected the sample was friendly and courteous and worked fast. My test was performed on time even with four people waiting ahead of me.

- Verified patient on 8/19

Excellent care and experience every time I come for a Covid test (every other week or so) except there is always at least a 15+ minute wait it seems, from my appointment time

- Verified patient on 1/29

Staff was nice and hardly any wait time, but I prefer you all bring the saliva covid test back. I don't like the swab in my nose.

- Verified patient on 8/29

Appointments were quick and easy. I was able to get my Covid test that afternoon. The woman administering the test was friendly and quite efficient. I simply drove up, waited for a few cars that were parked ahead of me and it was done. I received my results quickly.

- Verified patient on 4/7

It was nice to be able schedule and flexible hours, but still a long wait time. (1hr). They do rapid testing, which is great, but I didn’t get an email with the results as promised yet and it’s been over an hour. That was disappointing.

- Verified patient on 12/16

Testing was seamless. The tester came out exactly when they said it would happen, did the Tess and was completely professional. Good experience.

- Verified patient on 11/22

In love with the doctor. She explained things thoroughly and made me feel like she cared about me and my care. The one thing that made my visit bad was the receptionist woman. She was adamant about me only getting one covid test (antigen or pcr) even though I asked for both and told her I was told to do both. The doctor ended up asking me for both so I got both in the end but it would have been nice to have it done from the beginning if the receptionist girl wasn’t so stubborn on her ways. She had an attitude that made the whole experience less pleasant.

- Verified patient on 2/28

I pulled up and the attendant for the COVID testing was already outside. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. She made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this location. The staff are always nice.

- Verified patient on 3/1

I appreciated how smoothly our walk-in Covid tests went! I had to take my three girls here because they needed a covid test to return to school. This was a walk-in, with no prior appointment scheduled. The staff was so friendly and efficient. Thank you for such a good experience!!

Silver Spring Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
