A great experience for something I had a lot of anxiety about. Had no wait time or issues at the testing center/lab. Had blood drawn at 3pm and had results by email at 9am the next morning.

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

I had such a great experience today! No wait, everybody was so sweet and polite. Registration process went very smooth. My condition has been taken very seriously. Dr Alabi took time to talk to me. My nurses Jenn and Linda and everybody else was so caring and nice. They kept checking on me. Thank you so much! I am very grateful. BH

I was skeptical reading the reviews on whether or not to visit the office, but my experience has been a lot better than what I anticipated. The only downside is the waiting room time, but the care provided was better than the ones I experienced elsewhere. I am making Dr. Uba my PCP.

Follow up covid test results, process was very efficient and staff was great

- Verified patient on 1/10

Thorough examination. My wait time was kind of long , but I think it was due to the weekend and online appointments. Once my slot was called, the procedure was around half hour from entry to test results.

- Verified patient on 2/8

A bit complicated with online check-in through my phone, but we were done once check-in was complicated in 1 1/2 hours for rapid CO-VID test, and appreciated the availability. I have less a concern about the wait, than the technological requirements for check-in which I was able to complete, but I wonder about people less able to do this. My comments are less critical, than constructive suggestion. Because all my questions were not completely clear (though staff were very gracious over the phone), I entered the office to speak “in person” for clarity and was warmly received and kindly treated. One goes to a doctor to “see” a doctor and engage people, and not one’s digital device exclusively. I’m just being honest. This said, I will definitely return should the need arise, and appreciate the service I and my mother-in-law received today!

My experience was fast and friendly. I was in and out in less than an hour. I went on Sunday at about 9:30 a.m for a TB test for work.

I was surprisingly pleased with my visit today! All staff was friendly and informative. I'm a tough one to impress regarding customer care especially since Customer Service in general in Fayetteville is aweful. I cant say enough how well my visit went from checking in to me leaving. Its refreshing to be treated so kindly at an urgent care. My friend and I came in for a COVID test for travel but this kind of customer care matters the most especially when you dont feel well and need medical attention. If I ever need and urgent care again, Ill def come back to thos one!!

I had a very nice experience with it being my first visit at Cary location. Tested me for COVID and when it was negative asked if I wanted flu test to see if that was what I had. Negative for flu. So she listened to my lungs and diagnosed me with bronchitis. Gave me prescription and recommended trying GoodRx for best price due to no insurance. The nicest thing is after negative COVID test she could have just let me leave but wanted to actually take time and diagnose what was going on with me and help me get better. I really appreciate that! Very nice and friendly staff too! Checked in and waited in my car for nurse to call me. I waited maybe 10 minutes and nurse called and told me to come to a door and was right there as soon as I got to door. Walked me to room and had everything for test ready. Did test and told me about 15 minutes and Dr came in about 15 minutes later. Told me it was negative and asked about flu test and did it and it would be about 20-25 minutes and she was back in about that. She then took time to listen to lungs and diagnose me with bronchitis. I was there maybe an hour/ hour and half and most of it was the time it took for tests to be run. But they were in the room after tests were finished right at time they said it would be to run. I did not have to sit and wait forever for someone to finally come back in each time they ran a test, they were right back in after each one. That was very nice since I was not feeling well and wanted to be back at home. I recommend anyone needing the COVID test or flu test to go to Cary location bc they are very punctual and actually care about what is wrong with you.

I hated that you asked for my email in the app you used for checking in to get tested for Covid-19. WTF does my email have to do with the price of tea in china🤔🤔🤔🤔 The care was great, the timeliness realistic. Phone number for a text to come to the door is fine, my email is not relevant.

Went for COVID rapid test, and it was rapid. From the time I registered a got back in my car was less than 1 hour.

- Verified patient on 1/29

Went for Covid test that I booked ahead of time. It was quick.

- Verified patient on 4/2

All went well except had to wait nine hours for a Covid test even though we were there an hour before they opened

- Verified patient on 1/2

Takes to long to only get a drug test alot of staff but where are they ?

- Verified patient on 7/20

The three-day wait to get a Covid test was frustrating but, clearly, not the fault of the clinic. Staff was patient, friendly and helpful. I appreciated them being open on a holiday.

I came in for a covid test had a sore throat and and they did the tests on me and they very gentle and i did not have a long wait Thank You So Much

Hardly had any wait time and the test did not bother me at all.

This was my first experience with NextCare and COVID testing. Each staff member was respectful and professional with added personal care.

I came in today for a covid antibody test per my employers request. The nurse who did my test was very nice and professional. However, when I saw Dr. Odell, I believe that’s his name, he was very rude and condescending towards me. I had explained to the nurse that I was still fearful of the covid vaccine but that I was still doing some research, which she encouraged me to do. As should anyone who plans on getting it. Dr. Odell seemed like he was almost pissed off at the fact that I was even there. He said a covid antibody test wasn’t going to tell us anything. I tried to explain to him that I hadn’t been exposed, but he cut me off saying it didn’t matter. I NEVER got the chance to express my concerns about the vaccine or to ask any questions. After his “visit” with me I over heard him in the hallway fussing with the nurse saying he didn’t understand why I was getting an antibody test. As I said before, it was per my employers request. No matter your stance on the vaccine, the way I was treated today was completely uncalled for. I AM NOT ANTIVAX!! I believe you should research anything you put into your body. That is my plan. At the end of the day I was doing what my employer had asked me to do. Dr. Odell’s bedside manner SUCKS and I’m tired of the covid vaccine bullies.

I did schedule my PCR test on August 4th at 9:00am, get the facility 8:55am. I was asked if had appointment, did say yes. The person who great me was rude, she did finally find my schedule appointment, then went to office (container) and she was on the phone (personal not a business. ) told the person that this guy is waiting so I call you back. I told her that I am here to get a test for traveling, she said that is extra charge, hello look at my schedule appointment I did paid already!!! I did state that I do need this in 24 hours, she said she will put that note. On August 5th by 12 moon still there's no results of my test so I can upload the information to Airlines and destination country. I have to drive back to facility, meet with very kind employee name Veronica, after she get the all the information, I was told the person who took the test day before but the wrong time for results to be needed. If I didn't go and keep waiting, I would miss the timeless for the required upload by the Airlines and destinations country. I was so mad,Veronica did call her Boss and explained that this is urgent. She did ensure me I will get my result by 3pm sharp and I did by 1:20 pm it was emailed. Veronica did awesome job but the girl with s....ty attitude didn't.

First time visiting on 9/10/21 and definitely will not be our last visit if we need after hours care. This place was great! My daughter had an 11pm appt and was actually seen a bit before that time. The lady at the front desk seemed to really enjoy her job. She made getting all checked in such a breeze and was super friendly, sweet, and very informative with explaining the billing process. The nurse was just as nice. She did a great job putting my daughter at ease before she did a swab test. My daughter is such a chatty cat and the nurse went right along with the conversation, which I liked the way she didn’t disregard her and seemed interested in what my daughter was saying or asking her. The doctor was fantastic. Bedside manner was top notch. He explained to my daughter everything he was going to do before he touched or looked at anything on her body. Which I appreciated and i know that put her at ease also. He made fun conversation as well with my daughter and seemed to understand my concerns of why we were there. He answered my questions without hesitation and gave great explanations. As I said above, her appt was at 11pm but we were seen a little before that and was on the way back home by 11:15pm. Great service all the way around. Very friendly and genuine staff and provider. So glad I found this hidden gem! Thanks so much.

Myself and 2 other people were getting tested for the dreaded co-vid virus all in the same vehicle. We did drive up to the urgent facility and do things there because we were not sure how the process went. After talking to the practitioner which by the way was totally awesome we waited for about 30 minutes. We then proceeded to call the front desk back and just asked how much longer because the practitioner said it shouldn't be much longer after we got off the call with her. The person at the front which was very impersonal said she didn't know. They were very busy. So we continued our wait and an hour has gone by. Finally the guy came out and said he had been waiting for the front to let him know. He was wondering why no one had let him know. By the way he is the only one that does the tests for them. He apologized for the mix up and was very awesome. If it had not been for him coming outside on his own we would probably still be there....... I didn't rate the time because it was ridiculous so less than 1. I didn't rate the staff because I just rated the front desk. It was also less than 1. I did comment about the two people that we dealt with and I give them a 10. The visit could have been all stars if it hadn't been for the one person that is the hub of the facility. They need to start back with any classes 101. I've worked in a doctors office before and the front desk controls the office. That area needs much improvement. These are very hard times and I don't mind to wait my turn but we should have been out of there about 10 to 20 minutes after we got off the phone with the practitioner. Just wanted to say my piece!

Fayetteville Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
