This clinic is rated highly in reviews for their friendly staff

Friendly Staff

We made an appointment for 9:45 a.m. And did not get called back till 10:30. This is especially tough with a toddler. The staff was friendly. However, I still did not receive the results for my son 's covid, flu, RSV testing and it's been 3 days. I do not see the point of testing for these illnesses if you are not going to call back with a result. I tried looking online and there is no record of the test. I also called and was told I would get a call back and never received it. Now I got to call again to find out what the results are.

Was able to get a same day morning appointment to follow up on a lingering cold. Booked appointment easily online. All staff I interacted with were professional, efficient and very nice. I felt that Sherry, the NP I saw, was very thorough and thoughtful about my diagnosis and recommendations for treatment. Would definitely recommend Carbon Health and thank them for their services.

Would definitely recomnend Chai urgent care! While there was a packed waiting room when we arrived since we made our appointment online we were taken very quickly into the room at our designated appointment time. Staff was very nice and friendly and answered any of our questions. Went in for COVID testing and was pleasantly surprised how quickly we got back our PCR results. Overall we had a very good experience.

Came to get a covid test it was quick and easy. I was there a total of 10 minutes. Just walked in, signed up got tested and walked away. Now just have to wait fo my results. Thank you Friendly Urgent Care.

The overall experience was great, however the reason I payed a visit was to see if I can get prescribed something to zap this swollen tonsil I have, I do understand if it wasn’t possible due to the swab test results of strep throat, but a recommendation of anything that can have this painful tonsil to calm down would have been much appreciated. Nevertheless thank you for everything God bless.

Amazing! Dr Naftoli Levin is an uncanny combination of warmth and professionalism. The PA that swabbed me for the Covid test was amazing. Aside from her reassuring manner, her actual touch was so light, I hardly felt it! That’s highly unusual in my experience.

Experience was great but it takes way too long for test results and they don’t call you or they don’t pick up if you call them

I was told I could get a rapid test for free through my insurance. Upon arrival I was told that the information given to me was incorrect and I would be charged for it, which I cannot afford. Because I was misinformed, they still gave me the rapid test for free. I am so pleased with the staff as they were very understanding of my circumstance!

I had a really nice experience, but I had to wait 45 minutes to get my corona rapid test results which usually should take 5 or 10 minutes.

Our son in law came here was very sick with COVID and pneumonia and you treated him with the Anita bodies thank god he is fine. And my sons roommate who is a chiropractor was sick with COVID and you treated him and also gave antibodies he is doing well. Today we came in both husband and I because we were exposed to COVID both diabetics and vaccinated so we came to get tested. Everyone is so pleasant.

I came in for covid test. Long wait, but that was expected. Doctor came in 5 minutes after test and said I was negative. While waiting for doctors note and printout of test results, the girl at front desk came back and informed me I was in fact positive. It was ok, mistakes happen and it was very busy.

Received a request from my employer to get a Covid test. I went on the Solv App and found that Chai Urgent Car had an 8:30 am available. I arrived shortly after 8:00 to check in and was greeted by Ricki. She asked if I had an appointment and did I fill out the paperwork as I had done. She was happy. Immediately taken to a room and was given the rapid test by Maria. I was out with my results before before my 8:30 appointment. Would highly recommend scheduling an appointment and completing the required paperwork online. Very efficient and friendly. My thanks to Ricki and Maria.

Lakewood Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
