Husband went last Tuesday. Said there was a bit of a wait, but not long. So convenient and safe to not have to go inside and have test done in vehicle. Tests results came in 6 hours, however they were in spam folder. Be sure to check your spam folder when looking for results.

I should not have to return after the first visit on February 10th ***. The same physician examined my throat and performed a rapid test for strep throat. He claimed last visit the test results would be next day. But 11 days went by, with me calling several times. So I lost pay, till till my employer took me back. Why didn’t you Fix It Right The First Time, Sir. Funny how this Rating came out Great?!

Extremely safe and efficiently run office. Checked in at the front desk 30 minutes early, filled out some paperwork, and then waited in my car. Staff called to ask some basic questions, I then came back in for the test, and was out in 3 minutes. I was done 15 minutes before my appt was scheduled to start. Test came back 7am the next day.

The wait is way too long. My appointment was at 5:20 and they said get there by 5:05. I got there at 4:55 and didn’t get called in until 5:50, almost an hour...and that’s WITH an appointment! The girl who took my vitals and COVID test was super nice, wish I got her name so she could be recognized.

Totowa Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
