There is nothing bad I could say about MedExpress Urgent Care of Dover, Delaware. This was my first time visiting MedExpress of Dover, De. I was between a rock and hard place because my primary physician is 1 hour 45 minutes away and I needed medical attention today. I was taken back by the professionalism from the staff, well thought of decor, not last but least the genuine care from the doctor (V.Goodman). What a remarkable experience even though I was feeling my worst! MedExpress will be my to go medical facility whenever needed. Thank you Ladies for the superior care. VDW

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Labcorp for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

A great experience for something I had a lot of anxiety about. Had no wait time or issues at the testing center/lab. Had blood drawn at 3pm and had results by email at 9am the next morning.

I would 100% recommend this company to anyone wanting to check their health status. The process was incredibly easy and done through certified labs. The results are frequently back by the next day.

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Had a very long wait tube called 2 hours then waited an hour for test results when told it would be 15 minutes. Had to go to the desk to ask about test results. Saw a 2nd person who finally got us finished. Total time was 3 1/2 hours for respiratory infection

First time there. Wonderful experience, I was there for the rapid Covid test and even being a first time customer, I was in and out of this office in less than an hour with my results in hand! What a great service!! Honestly, I have already placed you guys under my contact list in my phone. I will definitely use you again in the future for any of my urgent care needs! Thank you so much!!

This is my favorite place to come and get my Covid test done. There are always smiles on their faces, we at Glory Tabernacle Pray for our essential workers and their families. We don't know your names but we Appreciate all that you all do 🙏🏾💙🙏🏾 The wait time was not bad considering the pandemic ☺

Everything went fine until I was suppose to see the doctor after about I’ll said 10 to 15 minutes the person came back that gave me the test and told me I can go (never seen the doctor

I first called to be sure I could come in for my Covid test and was informed I could come in immediately. Which I was glad to hear as I needed to travel that day. All staff was friendly. The young mad who normally does X-rays was assisting with Covid testing and was very professional and personable.

Everything was good but my covid19 test. I take them at work and the nurse puts it my nose pretty far and for 15 seconds in each nostril. The nurse that did my test there barely stuck it up my nose and maybe 2 seconds in each nostril. I would look into that.

I know we do not have many places to be tested for Covid in Cumberland County but, there needs to be a better way. I went as soon as you opened and was still in line, outside, for over an hour before I was even registered. The woman in front of me was very sick. I felt bad for her standing so long. Once you are registered, you can at least go sit in your car. The whole process was over three hours.

Best place to get care. Love that they do covid rapid tests. The staff is always very friendly. My insurance took care of it. Wait time was an hour past what I was told. Walk in appointment

My husband and I arrived a little early. We checked in and were called to go in right away. We filled out our papers and were taken into the room. The test was done, we waited a short time, got the results and were on our way home. We were there maybe 30 minutes. The staff was very friendly. It was a very positive experience.

Fast service. Was in and out with 30 min. Covid test and was seen by the doctor. She gave me advice on what to do for my allergies and also wrote down over the counter and natural treatments to feel relief

I was sent to get my son covid tested after he had been sick 5 days. When I saw the line I was very concerned waiting with a sick child. However the staff registered everyone in the line directions were given when one person comes out one goes in it was very organized. We were in tested and since he wasn’t feeling well the doctor saw him before we left. Good experience.

It's a very nice place to go for covid testing without an appointment. The staff personnel were friendly and helpful. Wait time depends on how busy they are but overall a good place to go. It was recommended by a family member and I would recommend it to others as well.

I walked in for an unplanned COVID-19 test and was in and out in about 30 to 40 minutes. I was negative, thank god. I than recommended some friends whom also was tested. I’ve always had good service there and I will continue.

Easy to book an appointment or walk-in. Staff is wonderful. However, Covid testing needs to be more organized for a faster turn around. I brought a sick child in to be tested. Arrived a little after 12pm, it took 2 plus hours. I did walk in as there were no available appointments but it is such a simple task and should be much faster. Also, very uncomfortable being in the waiting room and treatment room with potential Covid positive clients. When it was done outdoors from your car, it was much more efficient.

The facility is always nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and professional. The Associate that took my COVID-19 test. Was very professional and explained everything to me and exclusive details . I was very nervous. At the end of our conversation I felt very comfortable. I’ll be back for retesting on Wednesday. I don’t have to wait long . Thanks for everything you do for our beautiful community!

Fast. Everyone was great....let you wait outside for results...I was not feeling well and got a rapid covid Test. Because the nurse saw I was sick she suggested I could see a Dr. She really seemed concerned. I'd go back there if need be. Thanks for the great work. ..Heroes.

I went with my son to have a test Vovid done. The experience was not really grea. I can say it was ok. However the person that took care of us was kind of rude and she was in a rush and did not explain well the procedure. She did not follow the recommendation that the person at the front told me to tell her. I am going to travel this coming Friday April 2 , so I need the result as soon as possible. She said that was not necessary to rush. I hope that those results come back before Friday ! The receptionist was a very kind and care person. She had a very good manners.

Went in for a rapid Covid test. I was registered quickly and allowed to wait in my car until it was my turn. I was called within 20 min. Everyone e was friendly and professional and answered all my questions and concerns.

- Verified patient on 1/28

The nurses were excellent, very nice and took the time to talk to me and showed compassion. However, the doctor wasn’t helpful at all. She didn’t check me out and wasn’t even aware of either of the tests that were done on me.

Vineland Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
