Will not write about my experience other than the fact that the receptionist  young lady that checked me in and took my vitals was excellent. Do not want to share what followed.

I recently moved to Wappingers and have been sick twice. Both of my visits to the HealthQuest Urgent Care were excellent. The receptionist was friendly and the exam was prompt and thorough. The care was much better than other urgent cares I have visited. Thank you!

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

I took 3 of us for covid tests - quick online pre meeting, drive up, pleasant nurse performed the test, no wait. It was as great as a covid test can be.

- Verified patient on 2/20

Quick video call chat, and easily made online. I was initially frustrated at the change but its not their fault times have changed. Ultimately everything was quickly taken care of and testing was also easily taken care of, results received very quickly an hour later. I recommend this location.

- Verified patient on 7/8

Everyone was very friendly. We had to wait a long time but that’s because they are overwhelmed with people wanting to get COVID tested. The website is confusing however. It is not clear which sites are doing testing and the days they are available.

- Verified patient on 1/3

The Nurse was prompt, identified himself. He Properly identified myself verbally and with license. Did both test with care. Informed me when I would receive my results. Did receive a phone call 30 minutes later stating my results. Thank you for a job well done.

Because of COVID I was asked to remain in my car. There was no wait and your staff member who came up to my car window to administer the test was pleasant and very courtesy. I booked my appointment on line. My insurance was submitted. Definitely would recommend this clinic and check in procedure.

Every single person we had an interaction with was safe, kind, friendly and helpful! - especially the people performing the swab. This was the first time having a test and they made it better than I expected. Great job Pulse-MD - your team is amazing. Keep up the awesome work!

Matt called to see if I need anything before the Covid test. He was really friendly despite the fact that due to Solv app issues I had to schedule multiple appointments and was getting canceled each time. He was much friendlier that whoever “P” was, the person texting me from the app in all CAPS to stop scheduling appointments because they had me on their schedule (without letting me know which time they had on their schedule). Thank you Matt for being nice and understanding.

- Verified patient on 8/17

The staff was super friendly and were able to see us sooner than anticipated, which was great. They were exceptionally patient with my 4 year old who had to endure 2 COVID test swabs.

- Verified patient on 1/13

This was fast and professional!! The woman who tested me was so nice. She explained everything and remained so professional!!! And a bonus she shared the same birthday as me!! Wonderful experience.

- Verified patient on 8/27

I was scheduled for a virtual visit but was having issues connecting, I was easily able to switch the meeting to a phone call instead. Then our care provider, Janine was super helpful in answering all of my questions. My only complaint is that the prices for Covid tests are not published on the self paying list in the Coverage and Cost page of your website so I have no idea how much a test will cost. I also don't see why you can't publish a list of accepted insurances on your website.

have gotten COVID tests from PULSE at Mohegan Lake multiple times, as my workplace requires it from me. the folks on the virtual visits as well as the girls on site giving the tests have all been great! a smooth, easy, safe process from start to finish. thank you!

Always friendly staff and very fast to get a Covid-19 test. Great experience! Customer service is the most important asset an organization possesses. As an enterprise e-commerce founder and expert in running a successful customer-centric organization, Pulse M.D. Knows how important these assets are and have always demonstrated them every time I’ve been there. Remember, your customer service is what sets you apart from your competition. Don’t change that. Further develop it. Every aspect of your organization should be built around the customer. In your case your patients! Always innovate and revolutionize! Keep up the good work.

Since we as a family have to get test so often because of protocols… we have build great relationships with the staff…. And they have always provided good and accurate information.

- Verified patient on 6/30

Wait time was to long, but beyond the staff’s control as they were trying to get as many people tested as possible. But the staff was amazingly thoughtful, kind and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this place again but definitely be patient as they are working so hard to test so many.

- Verified patient on 12/15

I was completely impressed by my first experience here when I sought covid tests for myself and children. The staff was incredibly kind and patient and the screening process as well as drive through testing was efficient and quick. Highly recommend.

- Verified patient on 11/16

I had a televisit scheduled for 900am. I received a text at 830am asking if the doctor could call me earlier than my 900am appointment. I've never been seen by a doctor on time, let alone early, so that was a nice surprise. The drive thru Covid test was quick and professionally handled. I received a phone call informing me of my result within an hour of my test. This is the second time using this office and both experiences were the same.

Came into Mohegan lake office; drive through Covid testing. Long lines, but to be expected. Professional, kind staff. However no one has yet to reach out to me to advise PCR results.

The NP I spoke o. The phone with was fantastic, the person who performed my test was kind and caring too. When I received the results over the phone they checked my name/dOB before releasing any personal info too. I felt that they ALL were professional and a pleasure to deal with!!

- Verified patient on 10/6

Mohegan lake location was not prepared to have covid drive through testing done today. Patients should have been aware of this when we had our virtual visit. It took me 3 hours to get tested at mahopac location and I wasn't aware of protocol to text upon arrival. The nurses at both locations were helpful but the amount of time spent was horrible.

Took a Covid test today. Telephone interview with Tom went great. He was very efficient and polite. Nurse who gave us the swab test was also very professional and polite. Did a great job.

Mohegan Lake Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
